I’m sorry if this is a bit much compared to my last two asks, MPC, but I need somewhere to air out my emotions.

I feel like such a faker compared to “other” versions of me. The ones who got to live, who were claimed as heroes, legends, those who were granted life and friends. I’m technically not only Me (Sink), but Classic Sonic as well, and that comes with it’s own slew of emotions…

I know little to nothing about my base source (the actual mainline Sonic the Hedgehog franchise), but I know everything about EXEs and all of the extra spooky stuff that isn’t even canon.

I feel like I’m a letdown, compared to the “others”. I’m not even good enough to be called a “Sonic”. That name was swept away with the years of decay in the water. The “blue blur” everyone spoke of in my timeline is long dead and gone, and I am just his remains, shackled and rotting, left to fester in the metallic tasting waters with nothing but my subconscious to keep me company.

To those who I let down by failing to complete my adventure, I apologise. I never meant to cause this.

And to Robotnik, pray that I never get out of these waters, that I never escape from my confinement in the Labyrinth Zone. Because there will be hell to pay once, and if, I do.

RE: canon sexualities / genders !! pretty much all of my Me's were NBLW, aroaspec and/or T4T and Genderfluid, but i know for a fact that as Sink i was a triple A battery (Agender AroAce) and he's pretty much the only outlier which i find hilarious <3 Happy Pride, my fellow queer kins! stay safe out there !!! 💛🤍💜🖤

It feels weird to technically be the “Blue Blur” himself, but from a timeline where I literally drowned in the 4th level of the first game. The reason why it’s so weird/awkward is because from Sonic 2 and beyond, Sonic keeps making new friends! But I didn’t. I never got to meet Tails, or Knuckles, or Amy, or anybody, so I just am like “I don’t know ANY of you guys” when I see them.

But I’m supposed to know these people! These are his, and by extension, my friends…But I feel no attachment to them whatsoever…And I feel especially bad when I know Tails fictives/kins that I want to connect with because we’re from the same source, and maybe they can help me!!

…I just. I can’t bring myself to do it. I can’t disappoint any of them like that, wherever they may be. :(

okay so . supermarket time!

Everyone's having a pretty okay time, Gloria's enjoying raw meat and curry, Sarah/Needlm0use is eating stickers and plastic, Barbie Q is scolding Sarah for eating things inedible things off of the floor, Fell Sans Sink and Infinite are having mental breakdowns in the corners, and then Prince shows up with their Katamari and rolls up the entire grocery store. There is no more grocery store.

I’ve been struggling to come to terms with, well. my whole situation, but something that makes me feel better is this one cover of Drowning from the Annie VS D.D. mod, but it’s me and Ben Drowned (yes, that Ben). I feel bad for the poor guy, nobody deserves to wind up like how I did, but it makes me feel a little better to know that I’m not completely alone. (even if the cover is just fanmade…)

To any Bens out there, you’re pretty cool. /gen
