I don't understand why all these people can't understand that you don't need to update a story every week, I mean if you're that desperate to get updates just write your own!

I'm happy waiting because I love reading anything you write, but some people just don't understand how hard it is to even think of ideas to put in a story.

I understand the anxiety of seeing a fic not update in a long time (and three weeks is NOT a long time in the writing world), but I guarantee that anxiety is less than what the writer feels at getting these asks.
