Midnight Thinkiness

It’s Saturday night. I wanted to go out to the same small town bars that I do every weekend but that wasn’t an option. Instead I watched a movie with my best friend and her husband. 

Every one of my best friends has a boyfriend now. Even the one who stayed single with me until we were 22! I had one boyfriend then and that’s way over. She has one now. 

I’ve felt like I’ve been on the back burner with everyone. Am I selfish for wishing they were single again? They’re happy! I just feel neglected is all. And lonely. 

That’s why I like to go out. I can drink, meet cute guys and have good conversation. Also I hope to meet up with my booty call, but our timing hasn’t worked out in awhile. 

So, I’m home. This is good though. I forgot about tumblr. I’ll sleep content tonight and won’t wake up hungover tomorrow morning <3

Sometimes you just have to be your own Valentine. Sometimes what you thought was on track for something more suddenly gets derailed and you don't have an explanation for it.
