♡🤸🏻‍♀️🎶 🎤🎀🏃🏻‍♀️🇺🇸🤩Here's me tumbling, doing jumpsplits, cheering, & singing "Star Spangled Banner for fun! 🙌Omg, I turned 31 & still healing from when I broke my Metacarpal bone (hand) in October 2023. I hurt my left knee today 😞and trying not to screech in my singing or catch my breath really hard while singing. Didn't know I would hurt my knee but I know that it's most likely not broken & hoping it's just one of those injuries that I'll recover quick. Fingers crossed🤞. It's swollen now though.

I used to be so good & everything used to look perfectly clean when I was younger. I tried my best & still looks good!😍🤩Sung the National Anthem with my good advanced auditioned choir Prima Voce with Intermezzo (Show Choir), & Vocal Ensemble during my high school graduation in 2011 at Lawlor Events Center at the University at UNR, but didn't sing with my advanced choir Chamber Chorale for my college graduation for my first Bachelors Degree in 2016 of May 13th at University of Nevada, Reno at the Quad outside UNR.🙌Proud nurse,coach.

My bones are not the greatest anymore especially my scoliosis & my osteoarthritis in my spine. My spine is not the most flexible as it used to be because now my curvature in my spine is around 36 degrees.

Hope I don't need surgery soon eventhough they told me a few years ago I would probably need surgery if the curve in my spine is past 30 degrees. 19 years as an elite long distance runner/athlete. That's why retirement is coming soon.

I've always been really flexible since I was around 5 years old & always loved doing gymnastics with 1 of my older cousins & our other friend during 1st grade in elementary school. 🇺🇸My blood-related family of Doctors, News Reporter, Lobbyist, Veterans-(Mixed Asians & also White people, Caucasians) living in Nevada for 45 (forty-five) years. Spread kindness.🩵

Also,go Gonzaga Men's Basketball team back in March!Wooh!Gonzaga University-my older sister Catherine Van-Schwartz (Catt Van)(Former KOLO 8 News Reporter)graduated from years ago in 2012-with Summa Cum Laude highest degree!Can't wait for next year's March Madness!🏀

I Googled "Health Benefits of Singing" and the first entry was Take Lessons.

Oy. You don't have to take lessons in order to enjoy singing. Singing is for everyone, so start with having fun.

Sing with the radio, sing in the shower, sing with your children, sing alone, sing with friends for the hell of it. You don't have to be good at it. (If you enjoy it and want to get better at it, by all means, take lessons. I took lessons for years and loved every single minute of it.)

Choir singers report that they feel feeling happier, less anxious and less depressed than the general population. Joining a group, creating music together, benefits your immune system and can lower your levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

Singing in a group, believe it or not, can reduce snoring! One study found that, when comparing singers with non-singers, the singers had a significantly lower severity of snoring. (You're exercising your throat muscles when you sing.)

For the introverts in the world, who complain that they are lonely, singing is the way to gently join the rest of the world.

So turn on a song you love on your IPhone and let those endorphins course through your body. You'll feel great!

Been very emotional. After running & walking with my dogs for 7 years, 1 of my dogs, Bella-Sky can't walk that far anymore. We always have to have shorter walks now. Been crying really hard about it for a couple of days.

Can't believe my dogs are senior dogs now & that they're both getting older.😭That really hit me. Love to all.

I miss choir been in all the auditioned choirs I made into through the years. Through Honors choir, Honors Advanced Auditioned High School Choir Prima Voce Women's Choir , College Advanced/Auditioned choirs,UNR University of Nevada, Reno Chamber Chorale, being in the GOOD choirs. Been a good singer since I was 3 years old.

🩷🎶Music, singing, running, & pets are the best therapies.💙
