Welcome one and all to the Court of Ravens! My name is Ash and this my new rp blog. I'm trying to be a little better about being "professional" on here, though I wouldn't honestly call myself a pro. I've been role-playing here on Tumblr on and off since 2012 and I just like to have fun with it! Verses and AUs

1. Canon universe- formerly trapped in an abusive marriage, Phenix spends most of her time taking care of imps and other hellborn and sinners who escaped bad situations in her family home, Raven Hall. She wishes to continue her mother's legacy with the Raven Court, and wants to eventually make it an official branch of hells government to give the so called lessers in hell a voice.

*Canon for the blog, but not the show. Though I do try to work within the shows boundaries with this.

2. Ward of the Morningstars/ ward!phenix AU- in this alternative universe, Phenix was taken in by Lucifer after her mother was killed because he felt partly responsible for what happened to Ravenna and for Phenix's fall from favor with Paimon. She sees Luci as a second, but primary, father, Charlie as her sister, and Damian Morningstar as her brother. Vaggie is her future sister in law, and the deadly sins are her aunts and uncles (though some she favors more than others).

3. Royal Guard AU- this is an AU where Striker is a captain of the guard in the House of Andras. Realizing just how bad Andras actually is, Striker and Phenix concoct a plan to free her and put an end to Andras' wicked hold on her. This features the pair Striker/Phenix in a romantic way.

4. Human AU- Phenix is a human royal from the small kingdom of Goetia who's of marriageable age.

5. Genderbent AU- Male Phenix whos escaped from a bad marriage and just wants to raise his two kids, Javier and Viviane, in peace.

6. Queen of Wrath AU- This is based on a fanfic that I'm writing in which Paimon and Satan, the king of wrath, struck up a deal many years ago and has led to Phenix becoming the deadly sin's wife. Unsure if I'll post the story itself but this will be updated if and when I do.

Gender: female

Age: 30+

Demon bird form: a giant five eyed quetzal (two on each side of her head plus one in the middle of her head) that appears to be made of various colored flames.

Ordinary demon form: (terrible at drawing so I'll give a physical description) 9 feet at the tallest. She's mostly red feathered, though she has gold feathers on her face, particularly around her eyes and prominently in her long tail feathers. Her chest is black feathered, with what looks like a light red/orange heart on her bust. Her eyes are mostly black with red-gold irises and odd lavender pupils. She has a third eye in the middle of her two regular eyes, but its usually shut so not visible to most unless they have supernaturally goof eyesight. The feathers on her head start short at the neck and shoulders and but spread elegantly down her back, as though theyre layered atop of each other. They're mostly red but are tipped in black with gold accents. Her style of dress varies on the day and who she interacts with. Despite her fiery colors she actually has a deep fondness for cooler ones like emerald green, blues of any kind, and anything purple. Will on special occasions wear her husband's colors of cream, black, and purple...rarely.

Powers: pyrokinesis, sound manipulation, imitation of any voice, knowledge of most if not all instruments.

Nicknames: Nix, Nixi, Rose Red (I highly warn against calling her this, unless you want your vocal cords pecked out)

Titles: Princess of the Goetia family, Grand Marquess in the House of Andras, and Queen of the Court of Ravens.

Blood Family: Shax (maternal grandfather), Viviane (maternal grandmother), Ravenna (mother), Marchosias (older maternal uncle), Malphus (younger maternal uncle), Paimon (father), Stolas (older half brother), Octavia (niece)

Married family/in laws: Andras (husband, a just no, JN for short), Caim (Andras' brother, a just maybe, JM), Larissa (Andras' mother, JN MiL), Aamon (Andras' father, a total Just Yes, JY FiL)

Important information: There's a lot of backstory to her, but I might reveal that in increments rather than just dumping it all here. So here are the top ten things you should know about Phenix:

She's King Paimon's oldest daughter, but not his oldest child. She's younger than Stolas by about eight years. He went through wives like Henry the 8th. Phenix is the result of his second marriage and her mother's name was Ravenna, who started the Court of Ravens under everyone's noses.

Phenix and Stolas are close, despite their mothers having been serious enemies. He's one of the few people in her life who call her Nixi. She's also 100 percent supportive of his divorce and is close to Octavia.

She got her grimoire at 11, much like her brother, and was given the purpose to act as a muse for musicians and poets throughout the world and across time. She was also betrothed to her husband Andras at this time.

She married Andras at age 20. They've been married for ten years but have no children...yet. Andras has tried to keep her content through the use of illusions. On the blog, she's mostly out of his fog, and he's the reason she hates the nickname Rose Red.

The Court of Ravens was created by her mother Ravenna when Paimon attempted to divorce her but failed. She meant for it to be a safe haven for anyone seeking refuge from a bad situation. Anyone can join the Court, no matter their station, any and all hellborn and sinners are permitted to join the Court.

Phenix has a key to the Court, which is disguised as a portrait ring of her mother. There's more of these rings that are commissioned in Lust and Gluttony. They all look slightly different but always have Ravenna's flying raven signature on them somewhere. Gates to the Court can be found in Gluttony or Lust, and they can only be gained access by the rings which are guarded by Beelzebub and Asmodeus respectively.

Phenix is technically Queen of the Raven Court, and has been since her mother passed. However, she didn't know about the Court until she herself had need of it.

Phenix is accepting to any and everyone. She despises the Goetia's way of thinking, and when she takes her place as Raven Queen, she denounces the Goetia in favor of "her" people, the outcasts and needy of Hell who come to her for protection and sanctuary.

She has seriously thought of killing her husband and taking his prized angelic sword, Exnoctum, as her own.

She does eventually want to have children, not only to succeed her as Raven Queen/King, but to pass on her so called radical beliefs about equality in hopes of eventually ending the stigma that comes with the caste system of hell.

And that's pretty much all you need to know about Phenix. If I come up with anything else or change her canon, I'll be sure to update the list. Now as I said there's a lot of lore surrounding this character and a lot of it involves her family, and especially her mother and connections to the other sins. However, I feel like those should be revealed in time. Until then, by all means feel free to interact! Phenix is super friendly towards most folks. Thank you so much for reading! Rust winces from the shout from his boyfriend/mate Davion while they were in their room. The blonde wanted to help him out on one of his dangerous missions. Trapping and finding a rouge witch that was killing people in the north. Davion didn't want Rust to come due to how dangerous she was but Rust thought he could handle it. Or in his words:

'I got ya back Davion. I bet she's not so tough...'

Turns out he was wrong. So dead wrong. She was dangerous indeed. She was powerful and had beaten Rust to a bloody pulp. She would have killed him if Davion didn't get her away from him but they did take her down and collected her bounty. But right now, the dragon was more angry at Rust while having his arms crossed.

"Davion I-"

"You what? You could have Died Rust. Died! I already told my cousin I would make sure you were safe and she was already worried when finding this out. I know you wanted to help me and I appreciate the fact that you did but you jumped into something you were not ready for."

"I know but she didn't look that tough at first! I thought she was kidding when she was trying to claim she was a danger-"

"But she was! You saw what she could do and what she could have done to YOU!" his voice was high but Rust can hear the anger in his voice. Wow, he really didn't mean to upset him this badly.

".........Davion please, I'm sorry! I just..I just wanted to aid you and help you out. I didn't want to worry you like this." he tried to explain but he tenses with Davion growling. "Come on, please I'm sorry!"

"Sorry won't cut it Rust! You fucking worried me, I could have lost you! What would the others think if I let you die like that!? Ink wouldn't forgive me if I let anything happen to you! Same with Gerald since he looks up to you as a big brother! How would they feel about that!" he said and Rust remains quiet.

"........."

"..Look, I really am sorry. I'm so so sorry. I didn't mean to..I just didn't want to.." he was trying to explain himself but he really did worry Davion badly to sigh. "L..Look, what can I do to make it up to you? I'll do what I can to make it up to you. I won't go on any dangerous missions like that unless I know what I am doing."

"......."

"No? I'll make it up to you by taking you out?"

"Being your servant for a week?"

"Having me do something embarrassing to make it up to you?"

Rust sighed not getting a answer but this really worried him. "Davion, please work with me here. Please, what do you want me to do to make it up to you!? PLEASE TELL ME-" Suddenly, Rust was pinned to the wall as he tenses up seeing one of Davion's hand near his head that he slowly looks to the dragon. "U..Uhhh Davion? What?"

"......You really need to make this up to me for worrying me so damn badly....you said you would be safe..and you almost got killed....so.." his amber eyes were back but Rust sweatdrops seeing that look. "I think I might know a way.."

Davion was quiet while looking down at Rust but he only keeps silent when raising a hand and brings it down on Rust's rear. A hiss mixed with a groan was heard from the blonde as he was handcuffed and sitting on Davion's lap. His shirt remains on but he was bare from the waist down.

"Oh c..come on Davion, I'm sorry! Please, why is spanking me a punish-Ahh!" he hissed from another one but twitched.

"As I said, your being punished because you fucking worried me.." he said to him.

Contrary to her usual bubbly and confident self, Sumi wasn't half the person she is now as she was in her school years and during the first two-ish years of college. She had been far more of an introvert and wasn't really good with people. Depending on the weather, 'shy' could have been an understatement.

Especially in college; shy, stressed, and without all too many friends. She spent most of her time in her dorm-room either studying or spending her leisure time alone, sometimes with the pleasurable acquaintance of smutty stories of ropes and leather on the internet. Stories that she most certainly should not have been reading in high school, but. . . we all know how teens are.

But she wasn't a teenager anymore. She was an adult. She wasn't under her parents roof anymore. She had student loans, the most sincere mark of adulthood.

So, after exam season, what's any stressed college freshman to do? Drink and party it out? See what student resources has? . . .Dumping it on your therapist?

Well, it's not to say that the above options are not reasonable themselves, but. . . Sumi had other plans. After a short bus ride, she found herself walking through the doors of a BDSM club, session already booked.

Part of her wanted to try out the real deal; see if she actually enjoys the idea outside of stories; part of her wanted to forgot about all of her worries, if only for a couple hours, even if that meant she ended up on the submissive end of the stick.

Despite giving up her control and her freedom for those few hours, she only found herself feeling more free, and somehow, more confident in herself. It's fair to say that she left the club that night with a bit of a pep in her step. . . .She was sure to return.

By the end of her sophomore year, she had made most of her anxieties submit, metaphorically. To her, that club, and that game of domination and submission had similarities to her major. It could free one of their worries. It could show one parts of themselves they wouldn't have ever known about, guided by another. It was almost like an art, to her.

. . .And just like her major, it was something that she could be passionate about. That she was passionate about.

From then on following this realization, she wouldn't go to the club to submit. She would go to see if she could be what others were to her; in charge; a guiding hand for those seeking momentary escape from their daily lives; those seeking freedom from their stress in binding.

Eventually, she would start working at the club as a domme, mainly part-time, infrequently on the weekends. She meant to only work there so long as she had been in college, just until she really got serious, working as a therapist, but. . . she enjoyed the experience far too much to quit; even when getting into relationships.

It was a guilty pleasure of hers, and truly one to feel guilt about. How couldn't her heart ache and worry, thinking of how her partner would react if she told them, or worse, if they found out.

But that is the continuous price she had paid for her confidence and her outgoing nature. If only one were to pry on the floorboards, they would find the same, anxiety-ridden girl hidden below.

Because I'm stuck at work (or sleeping) on Sundays, my Sinday Asks will either be answered late tonight or tomorrow morning. I brought my mini bluetooth keyboard (got it at a thrift store last year for $5), but I forgot to charge it so I'll use it on my lunch break.

Tonight is my 6 month anniversary here at Walmart, which is impressive because everyone says it's difficult to last this long (yeah, no shit). The two who were hired with me didn't last which, we were told by several managers that, of the three, only one was likely to stay (a fucked up thing to say at orientation but whatever). Anyway, there is a team lead position open for overnights, so I'm going to throw my hat in. I miss having authority. Not too concerned if I don't get it though since I still consider myself new to this job. Would be nice though, with my meds now a major monthly expense.

Wish me luck! If I get it, I'll work 4 10-hour days instead, plus get overtime. Sounds a hell of a lot better to have three days off.

"Tha' d'pends" Ron said, breaking off for a beat with a grunt of effort as he hefted yet another barrel off the back of the delivery lorry and chucked it down onto the mats in the cellar. It was restock day at The Trader. He'd been at this barrel moving lark for half an hour, and would be for an easy further half yet, his duskie, clipboard-having darling close to hand. Workroom banter was how they'd tripped onto this topic, and since the rest of the working lads were dispersed about the place out of earshot, Ron didn't mind indulging in a bit of terribly flirtatious banter.

Stripped down to his vest on top and in his preferred jogger-trainers combo on bottom, the publican-gangster sauntered over to Beth with all the confidence he wore like a second skin when suited and booted and seemed to pluck a flick knife from the air with a little sleight of hand. The blade flashed open and closed again with a practiced wrist-flex, and was held closed and safe in his fist by the time he'd reached anything like an unsafe distance from her.

"F'personal pr'tection--" he said, the raised brows and faint grin giving his words what he hoped to be a playful cast; the look and sound of a loveable, roguish jester, only joking around despite his skill with that blade. If she pressed him he wouldn't lie to her. This one really was only used at work.

"We ain't allowed pistols f'tha' in this count'ry-" That didn't stop him, but Beth needn't know that. "-So f'personal, th'default's a blade." The weapon in question was slipped back into his pocket, safe and sound and firmly shut. "But-" Grinning still, Ron balled his fists and showed them to Beth; tap-touching her shoulders so lightly it'd not sway her where she stood. "M'a boxah by rights, ain't I. So f'personal there's also these--"

Tap, tap, tap on her shoulders went his fists. Then, a chuckle broke through and Ron's hands were relaxed again. They cupped her shoulders, gave them a squeeze as he leant his head to hers -- enjoying this bit of a lark about.

"F'monet'ry-" he went on, good humour all over him. "There's th'fraud office 'n me lawyer mates in th'City--- 'N I know-" He gave her temple a kiss. "I know tha' ain't th'sort y'mean." A nuzzle followed that kiss, affection in both it and the embrace Ron gave Beth afterwards. Near her ear then, he answered her properly.

"Th'sort you mean, I'll always use unless I got proof me partnah's not poorly-sick. If tha' partnah's a lady 'oo might fall pregnant, I'll use it regardless since I ain't on th'market f'a baby Kray jus' now. 'N if she can't...'n she don't want me t'wear it...'n she ain't poorly..."

A pause there as quite who he was speaking about sank in.
