If you want book recs, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is a very good Duology to read, they are one of my favorite books, and also if you like action but like more romance I would recommend the Shadow and Bone trilogy, these series are within the same universe, but they don't both have to be read.
bold of you to assume I haven’t read six of crows
I tried shadow and bone and…kinda couldn’t get into it for being sort of. a story I’ve read a million times before, and a lot of issues narratively that Leigh Bardugo herself said she’d have written differently if she was writing it now. it’s her first book, I’m not surprised it’s not perfect. six of crows/crooked kingdom is SO good though and I have been meaning to read the. what is the sequel series I’m blanking on the name. you know the one. I’ve been meaning to read that for a while so thanks for the reminder!
#I was waiting to read it until I’d talked myself into reading shadow and bone for context#since I know a lot of the ravkan politics are relevant#but then the show came out and I watched that and I decided that’s enough knowledge to get through the whatever that series is called#I don’t really care about the ravkan politics anyway I’m hear for Nina and Inej the rest is secondary#*here#asks
