I always wonder how many werewolf pups a woman could realistically carry since werewolves are always like, “You’ll give me a litter of pups.” Think about it. Are the pups the same size as human babies? Making werewolf x human pregnancies a big strain on the body carrying 3-4 in the womb at a time. Or are the pups drastically smaller than humans, and would be like 6-8 in the womb?

I know this is a stupid thought because it’d also imply that 3-8 eggs were released from the ovaries to get fertilized (excluding identical twins), and twins in humans are already pretty rare. Rarer with triplets and higher, as those don’t usually occur naturally without medical aid (fertility drugs/treatments).

Then you gotta think if werewolves are born in werewolf form, human form, puppy form, or even a new combination, looking human with wolf ears and a tail. I am thinking way too much about this. I blame your lovely blog for corrupting me with werewolf content <3

Thoughts? Or just what you’d wanna personally headcanon? I’m struggling obviously and needed to share my thoughts and opinions to the world. Sorry it’s a lot what I wrote.

I think realistically it would depend entirely on who in the partnership is the werewolf. If the person with a womb and carrying the babies was a werewolf then something like 3-5 pups at a time would be reasonable to expect, even if their lover was human. If the person carrying the baby was human 1-2 is much more likely.

I do think werewolf babies would be around the same size as human ones, but werewolves are huge so in comparison they're much smaller and easier for a werewolf to carry multiple at a time, but humans are shit out of luck with that one.

In my personal head cannon born, werewolves start to transform around 12-13 with puberty hitting, so they're born and spend most of their childhood in a human form. Transformations can be painful and difficult at first, you need to have a slightly more grown body to handle them.

Also- if Twilight has taught us nothing else it's taught us that humans could not survive giving birth to a monster baby. When their teeth grow in they are sharp fangs instead of normal baby teeth, and their razor-sharp fingernails are tough enough to dent most nail clippers. But other than that you have a cute baby who can pass for a human!

Nibbly headcanons!!

Let's hope I can think right now! (I am in a lot of pain and at school but I'm really bored. Oh and I can't see cause my BRIGHTNESS IS ALL THE WAY DOWN AHHDBAKBX)

• Over time he gradually became blind and decided to rip his eyes out and eat them since they wouldn't do him any good anyways. Though he has eyes in his mouth which are maraciously (that's spelt right) intact.

• His tusks have grown to a point where they are in his eye sockets. (Wiggly man handles him to file them down. Like a walrus kinda)

• His ears(which are pig ears) are clipped with (looking at him) 1 on his right ear almost atbthe tip of his ear and one in the middle and one on his left ear- in the middle. (I'm like 90% sure this means 6th born first litter except idk the term for pigs I only know litter ZEOABDKAN- I should pay attention in class-)

• His body is very janked up- like his insides are mis-matched, there's probably extras of certain organs, missing organs etcetera. Most of the skin he's sewn on himself is falling off so it's almost constantly being replaced.

• He likes audio books but only if they're about serial killers or cannibals.

• He's a great cook and often makes Pokey judge the way the food tastes. He usually gets a 7-9/10.

• He likes the 'noise' music genre.

• Most of his sniggles are past Honey Queens trapped in a sniggles body. Those ones he bats around like a cat- he doesn't even eat them, just listens to them scream and run.

• He has a pig nose and was very upset when he learned Linda got a nose job.

• His true form has two sets of arms (like Tinky) and his limbs twist on odd directions.

She fell for a wixen who was determined to make fae dust himself, and would manipulate and romance fae before taking their wings. She wasn't his first victim, but she was certainly his last, as she got him thrown onto the Forgotten Isle. It's been decades, and her wings still haven't recovered, nor has she been able to fly since.

Old Fae Friends - Fae she used to be friends with, but after she lost her wings her community almost ostracised her, so she left. She hasn't had much communication with them since.

Found Family - Her own family turned her back on her, but since she started the diner, she's often gained a habit of taking on employees with no experience and nowhere to go, whilst also giving them a room in her giant mansion. Some of them remain, some have moved on, but still class Saf as family.

More On Wanderkits

I brought up the concept of Wanderkits in an ask response and I wanted to elaborate a little bit more since it's on my mind

As mentioned, my personal headcanon is that those with kits [queens/kings/monarchs + their partners if they have one involved] usually name their kits within the first moon. Sometimes, very rarely, it could take up to two, but that's almost unheard of.

Most cats choose to name them right away, though some need the extra time to think about it - usually cats that didn't plan ahead for when the kits arrived and those who wanted the kits to be born first

Wanderkit is just a title for an unnamed kit and there can be multiple Wanderkits in a litter. While considered a title and not a proper name, it will be used in place of a name until one is given.

Because Lionkit and Hollykit were named first, Jaykit was actually a Wanderkit until Squirrelflight and Leafpool agreed on Jaykit.

This is rather common, as those with kits don't know what to expect in a litter and even if names are prepared, there's always a chance there will be more or less born.

Hopekit and Wishkit, Yellowfang's daughters, were considered Wanderkits as well until they were given names in StarClan - which, for stillborn kits, the title of Wanderkit is sadly common. Of course, they can be given proper names in StarClan and will be released of the Wanderkit title

There is never shame in being a Wanderkit and sometimes young kits who lose their parents can be considered this until a foster or an adopted parent gives them a name

A Wanderkit will never be nameless until apprenticeship and will always be given an actual name before they're of age
