Ok, so......I did this thing back in October of this past year where I was watching the Great British Baking Show because I needed a comfort show. I'd also been playing Sims for quite a while and thought....why not PLAY the baking show? Or go too many steps further and write a parody version of the baking show that then goes on twitter because I clearly had not gotten enough sleep and thought this was a good idea.

I actually did this. It's here: https://twitter.com/_Imaginary_Noel I didn't finish, because I was having a fit about having to update my Sims game (it always gets wrecked) and because I got pulled back in the direction of making art again after almost a decade of not doing so. There is a conclusion to this little series, I have it written already, it's just sitting under a coat of dust. I do actually have a bloody website for this twitter and what my plans were, but I don't feel like linking it anywhere unless I can actually finish all of it.

I mean, the classic series is PINOF (phil is not on fire). its very chaotic, hilarious and lasted for 10 years

theyre baking videos are really good as well, and theres one from the post-hiatus era

i mean, tbh u can probably start anywhere: im pretty sure my first video was dans first video (which he hates), but then i just started watching all of their videos with no particular order

their gaming channel has a couple of playlists that i think are quite good (the sims4 or undertale ones?)

ShinoKCR Art Deco Dining - 4t3 conversion

(the new one, not the one that already has a TS3 version)

Was searching for new Buy Mode to convert, then I remembered there was still some ShinoKCR I wanted to convert :P And I like her Art deco stuff because it's way closer to 1920s-1930s than most TS4 stuff. Don't get me wrong, Neo Deco is amazing, but sometimes you want the period stuff! Took a while because almost all the multipliers in this set were re-baked - only the ceiling lamp, the place set and the dog sculpture aren't - because ShinoKCR loved to add legit TS3 patterns on her stuff and I was matching swatches with her older TS3 stuff :x But on the other hand that means that all the pretty colorful details in the crockery ARE ON THE MASK.

Which means you can recolor them to a plain version without multiplier noise/shading 8DDDD

Only the dog sculpture and the flowers aren't recolorable, all the rest have 2-4 channels.

Flowers are around 1.6k because I had to double-side the mesh, the chair is around 1.3k, all the rest is lower.

Place set comes with the glass and silverware, doesn't occupy a slot in the dining table but has a deco slot. Plate and saucer also have one slot each.

The ceiling lamp is medium height ONLY - there IS a short one, but it comes with the TS4 version of the study and I need to check which objects are redundant with the TS3 version to avoid duplicates. It's definitely on my plans though :x

Strange and Unusual Legacy Challenge - Occult/Normal Sims4

A lot of this is not my own. I added little bits and pieces but MAJORITY BELONG TO ASPHODEL AND SAMTASTIC. #ASPHODELOCCULTLEGACY AND #DIFFERENCESINTHEFAMILYTREE THEY ARE THE CREATORS

You move to a small home in the forest, away from everyone where you can live your own life. Your parent noted there might be other beings, werewolves among them, and they suspected they were in this area. A wolf pack supports each other, maybe this is exactly what you need.

Crafting & Baking were favorites of yours and you wanted to share your creations with the world.

While looking for another recipe book your mother wrote you stumbled upon something else. Notes your great-grandparent wrote about the paranormal. You knew there were other werewolves and vampires but this book detailed even more than that. Among them were witches and wizards, those who would bend reality to their will. This documented that most were in Glimmerbrook, were they still there and what else might they discover?

Aspiration: Spellcraft & Sorcery

Traits: Bookworm, Perfectionist, Erratic

Career: Self-Employed

After seeing your parent work hard on social media you craved the glitz and glam of Hollywood. For generations, everyone in your family has been successful and unique. You feel like everything has been accomplished in your family but the magic lingering in your blood and the stories you hear of your great lineage give you enough confidence to know you are destined for great things. However things change when you capture the attention of a vampire.

Aspiration: Master Actor Aspiration and then World famous celebrity

Traits: Self absorbed, High Maintenance, Ambitious

Career: Acting

Rules:

Color theme – Yellow

Live in – Mansion in Del Sol Valley

Spouse – No – Have Heir with a vampire

Children – Human or vampire

Max skills: Charisma, Acting

Other: Get a drama degree, get/accept an award, have a pristine reputation, learn strangeify/morphiate spells and when ever a celebrity on a community lot takes the attention away from you, use those spells on them.

Generation 6: Vampire (inspired by and #asphodeloccult legacy)

You have ancestors that hold power on both sides of your family. Born a creature of the night, you struggle to find your own way with paparazzi and the public watching your every move. You’re taken under the wing of your vampire parent and moved to Forgotten Hollow, at least here you’ll find peace. They train you up to become head vampire, with you recording the process every step of the way, for future generations of vampires. Writer or the next Vampire tome? I think so.

Seeing your parent jump from relationship to relationship made you vow to never be like them. You want to have a meaningful relationship, you want to find the inner peace that you know your parent is still searching for. While on vacation you found a bit of peace hearing the wave crash on the shore. You move to the Sulani where you create a life free of stress, while searching for food one day you find a mysterious kelp you can use in your soup. Thinking it’s safe to eat you find yourself…different. With your newfound abilities you try to help the environment and make things better in Sulani.

The music of your parent’s voice lingers in your heart. It might have been that creative gene or the nurturing parents because your talent seems to have surpassed even a mermaid. Playing the guitar has always been how you express yourself and you even accompanied your parent while they sung. Your dream of being a famous musician one day and showing everyone that music is the key to anyone’s soul.

Career: Entertainer, Musician Branch

Your childhood wasn’t particularly eventful, in fact, it was quite dull, and you hated it. You went nowhere, and saw hardly anyone.. in fact, you hardly ever saw outside, especially in the daytime. The minute you were old enough to spread your wings and fly the bat cave you did. You love to travel and you love to see the world, you love to explore, you love the arts, and you get bored rather easily…. You are also rather clumsy so… be careful yeah?

Aspiration: Anything that has not already been completed in this challenge

I love to get actively involved in helping my sims celebrate their holidays, so I wanted to show you all how I do that. Spooky Day Party

You can do a Costume Party (Spooky Party)  with the Spooky Day pack

OR

You can do a house party and simply dress your sims up in costumes downloaded cc, in-game clothes, put on a costume with seasons holiday tradition, etc.)

Haunted House

With the paranormal stuff pack, haunted houses are a real thing in-game, and you can have your sims visit there. Feel free to take your sims to visit and add some real spooks to your sim’s night! (TEST IN GAME) 

If you don’t have the paranormal stuff pack, you can put a spooky house in game, add a spooky lot trait, and have your sims visit and see what spooks they get. 

Halloween Bake Sale:

A fun idea is having a sim of ours bake some festive treats and sell them at a park or anywhere that they can put a food stand

Can be done with the base game & RVSN’s Salebration retail system mod!

Spooky Day Party:

Crank up the tunes, bring out the booze, and have a spooky party for your sims. Throw up some decorations, bake some festive treats, and rev up the fright night!
