11/11 - What are you wishing for?

I don’t know about you, but I wish that this baby would come out already!

Why, might you ask, would I wish for my baby to be here already? Well, it’s my due date and so far I have shown no signs of going into labor. Not even a hint of braxton hicks *sighs* Hell, my cervix wasn’t even showing signs of getting ready to deliver this tiny human any time soon.

Excuse me while I go cry about how huge I am and how much pain I am in. This pregnancy is so different from Macie’s. I was so active and could do anything! This one, pffft... I’ll be lucky to take a shower without having to sit down from utter exhaustion.

When Ivy, Ari and I were little - we used to look out at this house from the window in the barn and make up ghost stories that would keep us up at night! When I was a teenager and I watched TWD and saw Herschel’s Farm for the first time - It made me think of the Abandoned Farm across the way and that’s been what we have called it since! We used to ride our horses over there from Gran’s when we would visit (Mom had moved us back to Arizona after Gran got better, but then Ivy wanted to move to Georgia permanently so now we vacation in Arizona instead of the latter) and play hide and seek and store goodies there for camp outs. It’s where I discovered my first love, it’s where I ran to when my heart was broken. It’s always had a draw for me, a pull that I could never ignore despite my parents telling me to not go there (or at least not by myself - though I hardly listened). Now that I’m 20 years old and am expecting a family of my own - I think it’s time that I find my own place. I love Skye, but I also know how hard it’s going to be with a little baby crying in the middle of the night and she’s works! I need to do this! So when the bank finally put the ‘Herschel’s Farm’ on the market I started saving up my money.

It took me a bit of time, but I knew no one else would want it. Not even transients resided there on stormy nights. However, after discovering that I was creating a baby inside me - I worked up the courage to ask my parents for a loan. Today, I signed the papers! I’m OFFICIALLY a homeowner! However, as you can tell, it needs a lot of work done to it. That’s why I reached out to @kinsethdesign and contracted them to help me with said renovations! It’s going to cost a pretty penny,, but Daddy said he’d help me with that! I have 100% faith in Kinseth Design team though and am not worried about a thing except that maybe it’s better if I just demolish it! Which would break my heart, but Daddy said it’s a real possibility! In which case, I’d be a land owner, not a homeowner and I’d have to change the contract that Kinseth Deisgn and I wrote out!

I’m really excited for this ground breaking to start!!

..Yuri and Harley have been friends since they were in preschool together. They moved to Japan together, finished high school together in Japan and started college together. Though life took them separate places for awhile - it still seemed so in sync! Both married, Mom’s to toddlers, both expecting baby number two in a matter of MONTHS! Not to mention Mom’s to furrbabies! Harley moving to Rosewood Park just a block down the road from Yuri was .. well.. the icing on the cake and further proof that family isn’t always blood. Sometimes family is the little blonde girl in pigtails that defends you when the bigger kid takes your snack.
