4 Immortals Sisters by Scklsy

The challenge is based off the four sisters of the elements who want to improve their town by bearing children and populating the town with them, whilst drinking cowplant milk to prolong their everlasting youth.

Begin by creating a new game and creating your four sisters, based off the four elements of nature (though you don't have to call them that). They must have the following traits:

Fire - Romantic, Hates Children, Outgoing Aspiration must be Love (Serial Romantic) or Popularity (Friend of the World). Water - Perfectionist, Neat, Family-Oriented Aspiration must be Food (Master Chef). Air - Genius, Bookworm, Loner Aspiration must be Creativity (Bestselling Author) or Knowledge (Nerd Brain). Earth - Active, Self-Assured, Loves Outdoors Aspiration must be Athletic (Bodybuilder) or Nature (Angling Ace or Freelance Botanist)

Once you are happy with your family, double-check that everyone is related as sisters (believe me, I've made the mistake of not making sure a couple of times now) and accept the family. Now move into an empty lot, or a premade house.

You are free to decorate the sisters' house as you wish, but make sure every element has its own location (I made 3 separate buildings and a hedge for Earth, but you can use a big house if you wish, it's up to you). You are allowed to cheat for your initial house (buying or building) but you must have around $1,000 simoleans when you're done, and you cannot buy luxuries other than what is listed below (you must buy those with earned simoleans). The sisters ARE allowed to go to each others' quarters, but they cannot sleep there, or take the responsibility of another (example, Fire can't take care of the kids, Air can't cook, etc). This is a rough description of what every sister should have:

Fire - Double bed, fireplace, bar, bathroom Water - Kitchen, bathroom, bed, kids' room/s with beds and children's toys (you can buy cribs if you wish but I think they're useless since you get a free one when you give birth anyway) Air - Study (with computer and bookshelves), bedroom, bathroom, kid's learning objects (such as the drawing table) Earth - Bed, exercise equipment (treadmill, punching bag, etc), gardening objects, bathroom

Now, where everything is explained. Here are the roles of the sisters:

NOTE - If social skills (Charisma, Comedy, Mischief) are gained through an uncontrollable event such as socializing with other sims, that is okay but they cannot practice their speech at a mirror, etc. The only sister allowed to practice social skills in such ways is the Fire sister. NOTE 2 - The sisters are allowed to use their skills to earn money for the household (painting, gardening, fishing etc). But remember, only 2 out of the 4 sisters may get a day job!

Gaining immortality - This is achieved by getting the cowplant. The sisters will require one cowplant each, and if a cowplant dies, you must immediately replace it as soon as you can. The cowplant is obtained by: fishing Oasis Springs Desert Bloom Park’s watering hole or in the waters of the Forgotten Grotto; exploring space with a rocket (which the Air sister should make); or digging for treasures, which can be harvested by grafting a specific plant type’s cuttings with one another (Daisy & Strawberry gives Dragonfruit, after which Snapdragon & Dragonfruit gives a Cowplant Berry)

Once you have your cowplant, be sure to feed it once every 12 hours so it doesn't eat one of the sisters! (I recommend saving before feeding the cowplant if you see it has a cake tongue). The Fire sister lures in people with her charm to feed the cowplant. Once the cowplant is fed, you can milk it to get the Essence of Life drink, which adds extra days to your sim's lifespan and makes them instantly happy.

NOTE - If you're having trouble getting NPCs to be eaten by the cowplant, you can try moving them in and having them attempt to feed the cowplant themselves (but you must immediately deduct any funds they add to the household in a way that you cannot use). Reminder that if they survive the cowplant, it will still produce milk but this does not give you the "Essence of Life" drink. So a sim must die for the sisters to remain immortal. NOTE 2 - If you're a little slow-paced like me, you can turn aging off until you get the cowplant.

You win the challenge once: 1. Most of the town has been eaten by the cowplant and is replaced by the children of the Fire sister. 2. You get bored :P

Get To Work

The sisters may be aliens if you choose them to be so, but the CAS rules (traits and aspirations) still apply.

The sisters are not allowed to join a profession. However, they may open a retail business if they have the funds to do so.

2 new skills came with GTW. The Water sister may learn the Baking skill, and the Air sister may learn the Photography skill.

Parks and Recreation Career

Welcome! Did you know The Sims 2 Pets on console had a bunch of interesting careers? Neither did I! This is a conversion of the Parks and Recreation career from that game. I was able to find the levels, wages, and workhours in a guide, but the career descriptions were impossible to find. I ended up playing the game (on an emulator, which had some of the basic stuff not working), just to get to the top of this career. It was incredibly tedious and exhausting... I made it up to level 7 before giving up (mostly because of the friend requirement). So the descriptions for the last three levels are my own, which you'd probably notice due to the lack of imagination. Introduction Title: Parks and Recreation Workplace: Newcrest Department of Parks and Recreation Levels: 10 Skills: Charisma, Fitness, Gardening, Logic Description: Parks and Recreation is a diverse career, whether you are working in an office or out in the field. If you have a passion for being outdoors, helping people, and bettering your community, this is the career for you! Levels Detailed descriptions of the levels in this career

1. Garbage Collector §36/h, 7:00am - 1:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Fitness 2 Description: Conventional wisdom suggests that one person's garbage is another person's treasure. If that were true, you'd be stinking rich, instead of just stinking. But it's a good stink, an honest stink - born from countless hours of backbreaking blue-collar labor. Long live the modern proletariat! 2. Groundskeeper §46/h, 9:00am - 3:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Fitness 3, Gardening 2 Description: Your work with interpretative landscaping has caught the town's attention. Now folks come from all around to watch you reshape the park's lawns and trim its hedges with bonsai accuracy. Volunteer Organizer §93/h, 9:00am - 3:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 3, Charisma 3 Description: Left to their own devices, park volunteers are a wistful and unfocused bunch. But with you organizing them, they become a non-paid force of efficiency. The secret is to make the work seem more fun than it really is, like when Tom Sawyer tricked his friends into whitewashing that fence for him. 5. Community Sports Coordinator §114/h, 10:00am - 4:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 4, Fitness 4 Description: Baseball and football are so passé. Today's athletes are looking for new challenges, and your sports program at the park is extreme, to say the least. Especially popular are your new bonfire competitions, which pit toddler against grandparent in a grueling test of strength and endurance. 6. Events Manager §125/h, 9:00am - 3:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 5, Charisma 4 Description: Events don't manage themselves, which is why you have this important job. Duties include scheduling parties, leading class field trips, and renting out the park's outdoor theater, where last year you amazed audiences with your gripping one-man performance of Romeo and Juliet. 7. Public Affairs Manager §138/h, 9:00am - 3:00pm, M T W T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 7, Charisma 5 Description: Your park has problems - rusty water fountains, broken swings, and a mean flock of geese that bullies everyone. But that doesn't mean you can't spin the park's image to something much more appealing. Just focus on the positives, however scarce they may be. 8. Horticulturist §165/h, 11:00am - 6:00pm, M T _ T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 9, Gardening 4 Description: Your stint in public affairs did wonders for your park, but now it's about time to really make it shine. Armed with your scientific knowledge to cultivate and propagate plants, it's up to you to design a perfect park with lush, green gardens and recreational areas. 9. Naturalist §190/h, 8:00am - 4:00pm, M T _ T F _ _ Objectives: Logic 10, Fitness 5, Gardening 5 Description: With your park turned to perfection, your interest in ecology has grown. You've created an ecosystem of plants, birds, and trees living in harmony in your lavish plot of land. It's all about patterns of nature, and you love every bit of it! 10. Short Hedge by skinyafter5 (Sims 4)

I wanted to use a low hedge fence in a build but couldnt find one as they all seemed to be for ts2 or plants so i decided to do it myself. I edited the original mesh for both types of hedge fence from the base game to be alot shorter

So with the Sims 4 Realm of Magic pack we got some new decorative things. One of them being drying plants & I really love them. I just wished they were in more colors because my potion brewing hedge witch needed more dry herbs for her potions! So I did a recolor & made darker plants for the Drier Drier Plant wall decoration! You will need the Realm of Magic pack for this one, it’s not a new mesh just a recoloring from this game pack. In a few of these pictures is the three new recolors I did on the left & the originals on the right. As you can see just more plants for drying on the wall, they can be used any which way, lol.

EA. WHY are your Game Packs more interesting than TS4′s “full” Expansion Packs?! >_<

I like the portal -- thank goodness it’s not a rabbithole. The neighborhood design is awesome. Too bad hoods are so effing SMALL in TS4 -- how much free space is there gonna be?

Is it...like...ALWAYS nighttime/twilight there? Is the moon always out, and full? (Why bother, with no werewolves, but just saying). I hope it’s not always night, come on, this isn’t Sixam. Makes me nervous about the scale and scope of the world’s other possible/inevitable limitations.

Okay, so the news from the simguru tweets is that Glimmerbrook is the alpine woods world you start out in, with 5 empty lots, and the Magical; Realm is the mini-hood you can visit, with only 1 empty lot. You can’t LIVE in the Magical Realm; it’s like a vacay world. (So you KNOW someone’s gonna mod that, LOL.)

Nice cauldron at 0:30; it’s effing huge. You could boil someone alive in there, muehuehue. I like the rug; is it glowing too? The potions look like plainer versions of the ones from TS3 GEN, rather than TS3 SN, which sucks, cuz the SN potions were freaking gorgeous. That dark beaker is 100% unappealing.

Okay, so Supernatural this clearly ain’t -- it’s not even Makin Magic -- but it does look cute. Very Diagon Alley. I guess Witch is the only lifestate. That slightly creepy lady at 0:24 who guides him around is giving me vibes that there might be good and bad witches from TS2 coming back? (There’s ghosts in 0:19 - 0:20, so necromancy, perhaps? It’s green; is the Haunting Curse coming back?)

At 0:49 the dueling magic looks like Harry Potter, too, the way it drips when it collides. 

Their powers look...ok -- but I’m mad, cuz I don’t see any ELEMENTAL magic! IN TS3 we have Fire and Frost -- all I see here are sparkles. URGH! I don’t want more sparkles and lights, EA, I want SITH LORD LIGHTNING. :( I really liked the magic in TSM, with the long staves and the electricity, that was so cool. My TS3 sims never use wands, and [EDIT] apparently the Magic Hands option is here, too -- thank goodness. I was hoping for some sort of hedge witch mechanic, where you could do cool things with plants and nature and wildlife.

At 0:52 what is she doing? She disappeared, did she teleport? I hope she transformed into an animal. I hope TS1/TS2 animal transformations come back! :( 

At 0:48 that golden bird is obviously some sort of Phoenix familiar/summon, which is nice. PLEASE let them transform into people like an animagus. I hope they talk or do something other than just boosting a sims’ magic with moodlets.

It is confirmed that there are indeed familiars -- several mystical types. And just like TS3′s SN, a witch’s pets can be familiars, too.

At 0:55 I like the floating spellbook -- that’s a nice change.

0:56 - 0:57: YEET.

Broomstick riding is back -- I wonder if using it will be limited to only within this neighborhood/GP, and if it can even travel (I bloody doubt it) -- in TS3 it functioned like bikes that you could ride around town, but TS4 has no transportation cuz it’s not open world, so I wonder if it will teleport sims instead?

There’s some cool build/buy content in the background.

Not a real fan of any of the CAS stuff, tbh. The Vampire GP had more interesting fashion.(It’s like the reverse of TS3, when I hated the LN fashion and loved the SN ones. XD)

And now, for the most important observation, however:

WHY DO I NOT SEE ANY CHILDREN DOING ANY MAGIC, EA?!

There ain’t a single kid in this teaser/trailer, wtf!? Don’t do this to me. NOT AGAIN!

Omg someone please tell me I missed the announcement that kids will be able to learn AND cast spells. I will throw an entire fit otherwise. AGAIN!? Omg.

TL:DR

All in all? Decent, but a little underwhelming? I remember my eyes bugging out of my dang head when the TS4 Vampires GP dropped. I feel none of that here. But it looks nice! I guess I was just hoping for a lot more than what we’re seeing here. This is why I wanted Magic to be its own EP. You can do so much more than this, EA, come on. I don’t even see any of the stage magic from TS3′s Showtime EP. The fan-made TS4 Witches & Warlocks trailer was more dope.

So yeah, I’m good with Supernatural for now, thanks. :\

My ongoing favourite thing to do - take Sims 4 plant meshes and put realistic textures on them. Made two trees and a hedge, all seasonal and ultra low poly - around 500 for the trees☺️ 

Though I doubt it will last long - I’m still running out of textures 😅

The buffé table, you can serve all the food for 250 simoleons or individually.

The drinks/dessert fountain, serves chocolate, cheese, fruit punch, sparkling apple juice, caramel, futuristic punch andparty extender punch. Some require higher mixology skill. Some are drinks and some are dips for fruit or bread.

I fully recommend this pack for weddings and parties, other than that the items are kind of pointless because they dont really look good in everyday gameplay/houses, in MY opinion. 3/10.

I like this pack,the items are a bit much when it comes to color and pattern but the plants are very nice and i love the coffee table with the built in mirror. The curtains are the star of this pack for me theyre AMAZING. The cluster of paintings are lovely. The drape down plants on the shelf is also one of my faves. 7/10.

This pack is stunning, i will be honest though i never use the big sculptures, its hard to make something with them. I know a few simmers have built a romantic garden with all the stuff and its like a cute park! The outdoor plants are fab they go with normal houses aswell. The monkey bars are cuter than the base game ones heh. The wishing well is cool but i havent used it since the pack first came out. 4/10.

My sims dont work out often but the treadmill is a nice style. I will give this pack a higher rating because of the bathroom items i LOVE them. 8/10.

Shrubs Default Replacement + Custom Versions

A complete replacement of almost all shrubs found in game. Now they are bigger, more lush and hopefully look more like their real-life counterparts.

There’s also a custom version of each shrub (lupin only has a V2 version as cutom) with all recolors in case you’d like to keep Maxis ones. It can be used alongside default replacement, it’s also seasonal and behaves just like Maxis shrubs but doesn’t need to be trimmed. These were cloned from Bienchen83′s seasonal shrubs that I’ve modified to be recolorable.

Shrubs replaced: bougainvillea, fountain of grass, hibiscus, hydrangea, oleander, phlox, rose, seaweed called "Big Pond Peddlers Sea Pod”, sunflower and lupin (in V1 they got some minor color tweaks on their leaves but V2 is a complete replacement of their model).

There’s also a V2 version for sunflower, lupin and phlox:

Be sure to choose only one version!

IMPORTANT!

This replacement is incompatible with replacements for shrubs that change their texture, mesh or both. It is also incompatible with @an-elegant-simblr​ plant fixes (with a few exceptions of shrubs and hedges that I didn’t include in this replacement). All recolors will be broken too. I’ve already integrated my no sheen fix for sunflower and lupin in their packages so you can delete those files if you were using them. The overgrown state of all shrubs looks the same as normal state so visually you won’t see any difference until you click on it. I didn’t test it thoroughly because I use Perfect Plants mod so please report any problems.

All meshes are my own conversions from The Sims 4 (but sunflower V2 replacement is a Wood For Sims sunflower shrub (original can be found at the booty here) for which I made additional matching recolors). Because they have undersides, polycount became higher for all shrubs but never exceeds 3000 polys. Textures were mostly taken from Witcher 3 (extracted by saricoya and shared here) as well as various images found online. Voeille’s plant fixes were used as reference to create winter states for sunflower and lupin V1.

Everything is separated so you can pick and choose what you’d like to have in your game.

Be aware that one file - Tvickiesims_Hibiscus_DR - has the same name as hibiscus tree replacement I’ve posted earlier. Do not overwrite! Thank you to @plumbtales​ for letting me know!

NOW HAS A REDUX VERSION - same shrubs and textures but lower polycount. Please note that the way I did it doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll ease the strain on your graphics card (according to wiki). You can always switch to the original version if you have any problems with the new one.
