St. Mary’s Convent
Sim File Share
This quaint chapel is the perfect spot for those seeking love, peace and a little bit of laughter on their special day. Whether you're exchanging vows, attending mass or just taking a moment for prayer, St. Mary’s Convent provides a peaceful haven for all.
Price: 50,475 Lot Size: 20x30 Lot Type: No Visitors Allowed Store Content: Click here CC Used: Click here File Type: Package Min. Required Game Version: 1.42 Packs Needed: The Sims 3, Ambitions (trees), World Adventures (window), Pets, Generations, Seasons, Late Night
Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I'm back with the second gift for the Petalruesimblr Advent Calendar: a church/chapel community lot, perfect for weddings! I personally prefer using a church for weddings in my game rather than a wedding hall and this is one of my favorites among the lots I've built so far.
Click on the ’Keep Reading’ below for more information and pictures on this lot.
This lot is mainly intended for weddings, as I’ve placed an invisible wedding rug in front of the altar but you can easily swap that out for a wedding arch if you'd prefer. There’s also a small outdoor reception area at the back, which can accommodate up to 14 guests, making it perfect for close family and friends.
This lot is set as “No Visitors Allowed” thus can’t be used for destination, funeral or wedding parties. However, you can change the lot type to host a party to any of the following lots stated in this Wiki here. I set it up this way to avoid inactive Sims using the buffet every time they get hungry, as most of them don’t clean up afterward and it tends to get messy.
For RP players, you can decorate the church for each wedding - placing flowers, balloons or any other décor you like. The decorations shown in the pictures above are not included in the final lot but if you're interested, you can find the flowers from ATS3 here.
You can even use this lot for funeral parties if you prefer. I believe ATS3 also has open coffins (same link above) while BuffSumm offers dead bodies that you can place inside or also use the lot for the Priest Career by Lily__XD from MTS. However, you may need to make room for the rabbit hole rug or door, as the creator uses City Hall for this specific career. There are endless possibilities for roleplaying, so feel free to do whatever you like with any of my builds! 😊
📣 Please note that the CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page) but those are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game. Any expansion packs with build items listed in the Details section above may be required for this lot to show up in your game.
This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

Total Trash Mammal Base-Game Friendly Save
The plan is to have the three main towns done upon release, but I plan on upgrading the packs one by one as well in the future.
Let me show you what this is about
Remodeling Pre-existing Homes and Families
Pictured Left: The Spencer-Kim-Lewis Home remodeled Pictured Right: Alice and her daughter Olivia
Some of the homes made in the early days of the Sims 4 were god-awful, and I think we can all agree on that. For example, the Spencer-Kim-Lewis home was a monstrosity. Many of the child sims, much like in Sims 3, seem to have been made without anyone looking at their future life stages. This leads to some very odd-looking people in your next generation (and not just the newly generated townies.) The pre-existing sims have now gotten a bit of a refresh, both in their homes and their mirrors.
Recreating Families from Previous Titles
Pictured Left: Holly Alto brought into the base game Pictured Right: Teens Angela Pleasant and Dustin Broke
Many beloved families from previous titles were seemingly missing in the Sims 4 "Alternate Universe" when the game came out. Later on, certain sims were brought back locked behind expensive expansion packs, and completely unrecognizable. This save brings classics to the base game! The Alto's, the Burb's, the Pleasant's, the Broke's, and more! I also chose to stick to the idea of an alternate universe to bring back from the dead some sims further back in these family trees.
Established Stories and Skills
Pictured Left: Darren Dreamer working on a pop-art painting Pictured Right: Nancy Landgraab arguing with her estranged son Johnny
"What do you mean there's a love triangle, these people don't even know each other! And why does nobody in the game know how to cook?!" If that sounds like something you've said before then this is the save for you! It's hard for story-loving sims players to jump into a pre-made household just to learn that they might as well have started from scratch. In the TTM save, pre-made sims have pre-established friends, lovers, enemies, skills, and careers. There are also some new stories to be played you may or may not have expected from your favorite characters.
Updated and Simplified Public Lots
Pictured Left: A new toddler-inclusive kids section in the library Pictured Right: A base game wedding chapel in downtown Willow Creek
Now, you may be thinking; "Why do I want the lots to be simplified? Some of them are pretty sparse already!" And I have an answer for you. The game will only spawn in so many Sims once you enter a public lot, yet their builds are often very large with everything spread out. Not to mention they had strict item limits when the base worlds were first being created. This leads to these places feeling empty, both with people and decor.
Many of these family-friendly lots now also accommodate infants and toddlers, who they neglected to add before release. We've also added base lot types that weren't originally included, such as wedding venues.
Please follow my tumblr and youtube for updates if you are interested!

Micah Phoenix was born so long ago, his simmer didn’t even know how to turn up her photo settings to high. 😬
Ready for some very old pictures to celebrate Micah’s life?
The most serendipitous thing to ever happen to Micah was meeting Sophie Nova.
No, I mean, I suppose it wasn’t totally serendipitous since I only had like 25 sims in my hood and only a handful of them were teenagers at the same time, lol! But even so, they had their first kiss shortly after his thirteenth birthday, and that would begin a passionate and enduring romance.
The only drama they ever knew was apparently this senior prom, when Micah danced with another girl who was WEARING THE SAME DRESS. And Sophie did not like it at all.
Officially thereafter, they would be inseparable.
They spent their college years in the hot tub, had a real chapel wedding (not in the bathroom in their underwear like the other riffraff!), and then went straight into parenthood, as you do in TS2 circa 2006.
They had twins, whom I apparently didn’t take any photos of until they were teenagers. Hayden and Jackson.
Oh, poor Hayden. TS2 zits were so unforgiving!
But sweet as his children were and sometimes weren’t, the highlight of Micah’s life was his forty-year marriage to Sophie.
Their love remained as passionate through their adulthood as it had been when they were teenagers. They were each other’s rocks through many challenging times. And, oh, how their children and grandchildren put them through some impossibly hard times. Their marriage never faltered for a moment.
Micah spent his youth and middle-aged years rising to police chief of the Lake County Police Department, marking a long career of public service to his community and his family.
Micah is survived by his loving wife Sophie, sons Jack (with Nessa) and Hayden (with Piper), and seven grandchildren: Summer, Ryanne, Aaron, Luca, Rowan, Hope, and Harper.
Micah James Phoenix — June 14, 2022 to September 29, 2088
IRL: June 2, 2006 - March 7, 2024

Hi, I downloaded your old Pink Flamingo bar and the Pleasant's wedding chapel you made and I didn't get the hug bug :D
I love your lots and Sims a lot! <3
10/10, do recommend.
I only download lots from you and @plumbtales and literally nowhere else.
I'm generally very nervous when modding any game LOL
(gonna download the updated one ASAP)
This is so nice (and reassuring!) for you to say, thank you! I keep a pretty clean game with minimal CC, but I guess you never know...
As I understand it, the Super Hug Bug is something you can prevent; if you have mods installed to prevent the spread of the bug, you don't see it. I always think "it's like herpes!" from a quote found in THIS helpful post.

The problem with Sims 4...
Is that it makes everything so basic. I mean, sims always has kind of boiled down life milestones, like getting engaged, to their most basic components. Sim just asks if they want to get married, and the proposal is either rejected or accepted. (Same goes for kids bringing homework in, first kiss, first whatever. I think the most depth we get is taking a sim to the hospital to have a baby!! You can’t even introduce a new bf/gf to the parents and this just kills me inside.-Not that we could before, but it would be nice.)
I think I want what we had in 2 and 3, and that’s things like WANTING to get married. So far, I think I’ve only had woohoo and flirt wants, maybe a few ask spouse about their day. Not a single sim has had the want to get engaged or married. (I can only speak for console, haven’t played my PC game with much meaning, just doing my challenge on twitch.)
It would be great if sims could say X wants to propose to Y in this location, or X wants this kind of flower in the wedding, or the wedding at this location. I don’t think that’s too much to ask at all. And for goodnesssss saaaaake, we need a wedding or romance pack! I didn’t get garden stuff yet, as I’m barely getting into cool building small houses, but I think it’s barely scratching the surface of what we could have. We need bridesmaids, we need more wedding dresses and groom stuff, we need chapels and crappy Vegas style lots and extreme crazy locations and STUFF!! AHH!
Hopefully the “threat” of Paralives and similar games will add things players actually want. Like I said in Simmer Erin’s video comments, the whole sentiments thing was a good first step and does add some depth, but I want depth and more stuff to play with. The game keeps me plenty busy, but I want an engagement announcement to go along with my share big news interaction! I want options so that I don’t have to make my girl’s dad just hate her boyfriend with mean socials. I want the fraking restaurant proposal back!!
We’ve poured hundreds of dollars into this game over the years, have we not? We have every right as paying customers, the life blood of the sims, to be a little demanding. We simply can’t have every single thing we want, but asking the EA team to push the envelope and make the game live up to it’s potential, to shine a little more, is not a lot to ask. Viva la sims!

Victoria, Princess Royal praying on her wedding day by Queen Victoria, 25th January 1858
“The 2nd most eventful day in my life, as regarded feelings, for I felt almost as if it were I that was being married over again, only much more nervous, — A thick fog, & a sharp frost early. — Whilst dressing dear Vicky came in to see me, looking, composed, & in a fine, quiet disposition. This relieved me greatly. We went down to breakfast with dear Alexandrine. Of course Fritz, whom I tenderly embraced, & who was much moved, was there too. The dear Princess also came in for the moment. — My Dressing room was arranged for Vicky & she began dressing at about 1/2 p. 10. Our hair was done by Nestor, one after the other. When she was ready she came through in her bridal attire, looking very pretty & nice. Her dress was of white moire antique, trimmed with 3 flounces of Honiton lace & wreaths & spray of orange flowers & myrtle. The wreath & veil were to match & the train was the same as the dress. My dress was of mauve moire antique & silver, trimmed with Honiton lace. I wore my Regal Diadem & the crown diamonds. My train was of velvet also trimmed with lace. Vicky was daguerreotyped in my room, & she & her dear father & I, together, but I trembled so that it has come out indistinct. Then, it was time to go.
The sun shining brightly, 1000s out, since very early, — shouting, — ringing of bells, &c. — Albert, Uncle & the 2 Boys went 1st, then the 3 girls in pink satin trimmed with Newport lace, Alice with a wreath of cornflowers & marguerites, the 2 others only with sprays of them, in their hair. The 4 Boys wore Highland dress. The Hall was full of people. The flourish of trumpets & cheering of thousands, made my heart sink within me, & I could hardly command myself. Vicky drove in the carriage with me, sitting opposite. At St. James's Palace we want into a prettily arranged retiring room, where Uncle, my dear Albert & the 8 Bridesmaids were waiting. They looked so nice, in white tulle dresses with wreaths & bouquets of pink roses & white heather.
Then went into the Closet where Mama (looking so handsome, in violet velvet, trimmed with ermine), & the Cambridges were. All the foreign Princes & Princesses excepting Uncle, the Prince, & Pce Albert had already taken up their places in the Chapel. A Procession was formed, just as at my wedding, only how small the older Royal Family had become! Mama came last, just before me, then Ld Palmerston, with the Sword Of State, Bertie & Affie, — I, with the 2 little Boys (on either side of me), which they say had a most touching effect, & the 3 girls following. The Chapel, though too small, looked very imposing & well, filled with so many Clergy, Officers, in bright uniforms, & elegantly dressed Ladies.
The drums & trumpets played Marches, the organ playing others, as the Processions approached & entered. There was of course a slight pause between each, & the effect was thrilling & striking as one heard the music coming nearer & nearer. Fritz behaved with the greatest self possession, as he came in, bowing to us, & then kneeling down before the altar, in a most truly devotional manner. Last came the Bride's Procession, our darling ‘Flower’ looking very touching & lovely, with such an innocent, confident & serious expression, on her dear face. She walked between her beloved Father & dear Uncle Leopold, who had been present at both her Christening & Confirmation.
My last fear of being overcome, vanished, when I saw Vicky's calm & composed manner. It looked beautiful seeing her kneeling beside Fritz, their hands joined, her long train born by the 8 young ladies, who looked like a cloud of young girls hovering round her, as they knelt near her. How it reminded me of my having similarly, proudly, tenderly, confidently knelt beside my beloved Albert, in the very same spot. The Children, (the 3 girls) were a good deal ‘énnu’ & Alice cried dreadfully. The Archbishop was very nervous. Both Vicky & Fritz spoke very plainly.
When the service was over we tenderly embraced the young couple, & then Vicky went to her new Parents & we crossed over to the dear Prince & Princess, who were much moved. After this the Bride & Bridegroom left the Chapel hand, in hand, followed by their supporters, Mendelssohn's Wedding march being played, & we all went up to the Throne Room, where the Register was signed. Here there were general congratulations & shaking of hands, with all the relations. After all the Royalties had signed their names, the Clergy, Ministers &c. followed, & the young couple returned to Buckingham Palace together. I drove with Uncle & the Princess, whom I asked to call me ‘Du’.
Tremendous crowds, & cheering & we went with the young couple to the celebrated window, from which they stepped out on to the balcony to show themselves, we, Uncle, & the Pce & Pss also coming out. We all went to the White Drawing room, where we were met by Hélène Orléans, her 2 sons, the Aumales & Princess de Salerno, then, came the wedding breakfast 'en famille’, in which were included Pce John of Holstein & our 6 other Children! The young couple sat together, opposite us, but hid by a splendid wedding cake. I, sat between Uncle & the Pce of Prussia, Ld St. Germans, who sat at the bottom of the table, was the only other person there. The Band played. At dessert, Leopold & the darling Baby, dressed in pink, like her sisters, with a little bunch of cornflowers & marguerites in her cap, came in.
After luncheon we separated almost immediately, for the young couple to change their clothes. I also changed my dress, & at 20 m. p. 4, Vicky came to my room, to bid me goodbye, much ‘en larmes', poor dear child. She was dressed in white velour épinglé, mantle of the same, trimmed with grèbe & a white bonnet with orange flowers, & a fine lace veil, which she put down. Embraced & gave her my blessing, & she became calmer. In the Audience Room all the family & royal guests were assembled.
In embracing Fritz, I gave him my blessing & told him that I gave our child with perfect confidence into his hands. We accompanied the young couple to the door, being joined here by Uncle. The whole Court were there, having come to see them leave. After one more embrace saw them drive off with an Escort, & amidst much cheering. We ran up to look out of the window, but they had already disappeared! Jane Churchill, Sir F. Stovin, Col. Seymour & Herr von Schweinitz went with them. — My dear kind friend, the Princess came to see me, & we had a most pleasant, & satisfactory confidential talk about our dear Children. She is a great comfort & support to me. — We dined ‘en famille', & felt so lost without Vicky. Received a dear kind little letter from our beloved Child, full of peaceful happiness.
There had been enormous crowds, such enthusiasm, flowers & illuminations everywhere. The Eton Boys had dragged the carriage up to the Castle & made an immense noise. — At near 10 we went into the White Drawingroom, where all were assembled, Alice & Affie also appearing, & the Maharajah. I wore white & gold moire antique, trimmed with red velvet bows, a diamond diadem & ornaments, including the Koh i Noor.
A State Concert took place in the Ball Room. The following pieces were performed: Part of Handel's Coronation Anthem, — Quartette 'Placido e il Mar’ by Mozart; (Mlle Cl. Novello, Guiglini, Weiss, &c. —) — Chorus, ‘The Heavens are Telling' from Haydn's 'Creation'; — 'Della sua Pace' from Don Giovanni; Mozart; (sung by Guiglini) — Choral Fantasia by Beethoven (all, singing, & Mrs Anderson at the piano.) Bridal Procession & March from Wagner's, 'Lohengrin'; — Air from Meyerbeer's Robert le Diable, 'Toi que j'aime (sung by Clara Novello); — Finale from the 'Loveley' (solo, sung by Miss Pyne); — Serenata 'The Dream', composed specially for the wedding by Costa, & led by him (Tolos, Clara Novello, Sims Reeves, Weiss, &c — singing).
Everyone I spoke to, was most kind & feeling & all the Prussians & Princes so pleased & impressed with the ceremony. Only got to our rooms at 1/2. So thankful all had gone off so well. We thought much, on retiring to rest of our young couple, praying God to bless them & bring them much happiness.”
- Queen Victoria’s diary, 25th January 1858 (161 years ago today)

TS4 Pleasantview
This is a project I have been working on for about 3 months. I love The Sims 4, but my all-time favorite is still The Sims 2. I also tend to get a bit nostalgic from time to time and so, after recreating a few lots and families from that game, this project was eventually born.
My goal was to recreate Pleasantview as accurately as possible. Now, keep in mind worlds, maps, and content differ from one game to another, so an exact replica wasn't possible. However, what I ended up with I'm pretty proud of.
I have made all 8 of the main Pleasantview families:
Their family trees, including deceased ancestors, are present. Their relationships, as they stand when Pleasantview is first played, are intact as is the amount of simoleons each family, who lives in a home, begins with.
I have also included 3 of the Bluewater Village families:
There are a total of 27 playable Sims in the above mentioned families.
There are 63 TS2 recreated Townies including many of your old favorites:
In addition, there are 5 TS2 style aliens and 4 TS2 style vampires.
I have also included 32 original townies and 3 vampires of my own. There are 54 ghosts, in various places around the worlds too.
That makes a grand total of 188 custom Sims!
Many TS2 lots have been recreated to the best accuracy I could manage. Some are furnished as they were in the game:
165 Sim Lane (Goth Manor)
215 Sim Lane (Pleasant House)
195 Main Street (Dreamer House)
55 Woodland Drive (Broke House)
150 Main Street (Lothario House)
170 Main Street (Caliente House)
32 Eagle Lane (Tinker House)
146 Pebble Drive (Ramirez House)
74 Gondola Way (Landgraab House)
As well as:
House of Fallen Trees
Midnight Flows
Deh'Javu Modern Art Museum
Red's Famous '50s Diner
Ramirez's Fine Furniture
Electronics Supercenter
Londoste
P.U.R.E.
Rodney's Hideout
Café Petite
FM
Others have been decorated and furnished more elaborately or with some differences, but the exteriors and layouts remain true to The Sims 2:
210 Wright Way 113 Wright Way 190 Sim Lane 170 Sim Lane 130 Sim Lane 105 Sim Lane 95 Woodland Drive 40 Woodland Drive 35 Woodland Drive 190 Main Street 225 Main Street 250 Main Street (Pleasantview Community Center) 290 Main Street (shops) 330 Main Street (boutique) 50 Middle Lane 70 Middle Lane Helluva Hacienda Modern Masterpiece European Townhouse Bonny Bungalow Ranch Retreat Speedy’s Fast Lanes Bowling Rapid Racers Roller Rink Victorian Value Federal Fortress Tiny Tudor Just Right Craftsman’s Pride Family Farmhouse Club Dante 35 King Street 105 Custer Boulevard 38 Greaves Avenue 31 Mendoza Lane
I have also built 29 original houses, 10 remodeled apartments and 50 other original lots:
Pleasantview Park Pleasantview Library Oasis Springs Park Get Fit Gym Sweetie's Ice Cream Shop Pleasantview Cemetery Valentines Wedding Chapel Tinker's Toy Emporium The Boho Bean (Café) Black & White (restaurant) Brick Colonial (be sure to check out this house in Brindleton Bay to reveal a secret or two)
For a total of 104 lots!
Each and every Sim and lot are made by Shellybeans2 and contain no custom content. With the exception of 'My First Pet Stuff', all expansion, game, and stuff packs have been used in this project. If you do not have them all, you can still download TS4 Pleasantview, you will just be missing the items from packs you don't have.
I truly hope you all will enjoy playing this save as much as I did creating it. I would love to hear your feedback and see any pictures you would like to share of your gameplay through this world.
