So, I have two questions. You said you use vyxated’s posing rig to make your own poses and I was able to follow along with most of the instructions, but I can’t figure out how to export the pose correctly. Whenever I try to test it out in blender nothing changes. Teach me how to make poses lol. Also, you said you use custom skins. Does that mean you make your sim’s skin overlays yourself? If so, could you do a tutorial on that?

yes!! all of my ocs have their own custom skin blends. i would love to do a skin blend tutorial it’s like one of my fav parts of making my ocs :-) i have a day off on wednesday so i’ll work on it when i have time and probably post it by then ❤️❤️

as for vyxated’s rig, this video was a big help when it came to exporting the pose to use in game if that’s what u mean. if it’s not dm me bc i’m stupid 😭

Kind of a vague question, but how do you get your renders to look the way that they do? Is it all in the editing or is it something in blender itself? I feel like I can never seem to get my renders to look like how I envision them.

its a rly big mix of both! ive changed up my rendering process a lot since ive come back, i follow a lot of things in this tutorial when it comes to shadows and lighting and bloom and what not

and then in photoshop i use a LOT of overlays that add muah muah texture<3 my beloved. i have a whole folder thats FILLED with photos to use from light leaks to stains to noise n dust. once i started playing around more in photoshop using things i havent touched even tho ive been editing photos since i was a fkn 12 y/o on mmd deviantart i found a lot of new shortcuts n shit that rly helps too :-) i can make a lil """tutorial""" post abt the things i ALWAYS put on my edits if anyone would find that useful
