I can't find a pattern freely available anywhere. But if you're really good at brick stitch, you can probably figure this guy out:

Alternatively, this one was made with the classic "bead lizard" stitch, which is much more easily reverse- engineered.

Julia at Simplebeads has a couple of fish-adjacent designs you may be able to alter to be koi-like (change the colors and either make them longer/narrower):

My first finished project from my weekend retreat at Memory Lane Craft Retreat with my crafty buddies. I must admit I started it before I came and 2 strands were finished. Four more strands were added twisted and the necklace is complete. You can wear it many different ways as demonstrated here.
