Hi Kitten! Thanks so much for your tutorial on custom pet eyes, it's been so helpful! But I was wondering, do custom pet eyes show up on strays? If not, is there a way to "strayify" them?

Hello Kaylynn-Langerak! I’m so excited to hear about someone making more pet eyes! I hope you don’t mind me answering this publicly, but I felt that the answer is probably something others might be interested in.

Custom pet eyes—and custom pet genetics in generally—won’t spawn on any strays or adoptees. As far as I’m aware the only way to strayify custom pet content would be to make a new pet breed using the desired content. From what I can tell, excluding the Maxis pre-made pets, any newly generated strays are made using the available pet breeds. I do wish pet genetics would randomly spawn on strays in the same way that townifying works for sims, but sadly I don’t think it would be possible to achieve.
