Renar and Canar in Sadida Kingdom are inspired by Albin and Renato from "La Cage aux Folles". In the context of Sadida Kingdom I can make them effeminate to show the Kingdom is open-minded. The Sadida have a rather "hippie" community. Marline in the Dofus movie allows Khan to face his toxic virility (people were angry about this character who I love). Simone and Julie are more reserved without hiding it. Atone is non-gendered. Alibert is homosexual. Judith and Jahash are bi. The dragons are asexuals*... Anyway the idea is not to appropriate some subjects/fights but it would be very dumb from us, in a universe so vast, to present characters having all the same "tastes". "

*I want to point out that the word he used is "asexué" and it does get translated by "asexual" BUT it is a word that is also used to say "sexless". It is unclear to me what he really meant because he seemingly does not know a lot of the lgbt lexical. But also, from other tweets, he seems to be welcoming any headcanon so the end word is Adamai is aroace
