HA HA I’M BACK

Tumblr Terminated my old account! For no reason! And I’m frankly tired of waiting for an email back sooo, New account! Babeyy!! I was @shoot-the-clown, but here we are. i really really really liked the reaper ending so i decided to write it out?? yeah

"I guess this was always going to happen, huh?" The girl wheezed, hands weakly pressing against the stab wound in her chest, red staining her tan hands. "Maybe I had this coming.."

It was self defense, Marshmallow Monk wanted to say. I didn't want this.  However, he sincerely doubted she would listen. Not now, not ever. Especially not with the knife still in his hands, not with his silence. He felt bad for her- which he thought was a little strange, seeing as how he'd barely known her aside from passing accusatory exchanges.

"You really are a monster," she breathed, voice dripping with hatred, spurring into a brief coughing fit. " ..But.. You know, I always imagined the person who killed him.. To be more.. " The girl craned her neck upwards just a bit to look into MM's eyes. The contact made him feel far too vulnerable, far too.. open. "Black sludge.. Forming out the eyes.. Sharp teeth.. " she coughed once more.

"Maybe it's.. For the best.." She reached out to him, causing MM to step away. He kept his gaze on her as she crumpled to the floor. "For you to end this.. Everlasting dream." Opening his mouth to reply, a low whine fell from his lips; all possible words escaping him. He knew exactly what she wanted. He knew it all too well. "Please," she begged as her head fell to the floor. Tears dripped onto the old marble floor beneath her. "Just.. Please." Following her final, desperate plea, she fell limp and silent.

MM stood there for what felt like hours, eyes locked on the poor girl. He wondered what her life was like until all of this came to be- did she have a family? Did she have friends? Did she eat pancakes and drink tea by the window, the sun warming her skin? Was she happy?

Finally moving his gaze, he looked around. Was the room always this dark? He surely didn't remember the bookcases being so tall. The floor felt unsteady, like it would give out at any moment-    then he saw it.

The gun she had pulled on him. Lying there on the floor, without purpose.

He walked towards it as if on autopilot, kneeling down to it. He wasn't sure what kind of gun it was, maybe a pistol? It looked rather old. I shouldn't pick it up unless I plan to use it. he thought. It was then that an idea popped into his mind, causing him to shake- not with fear, but with anticipation.

MM took the gun, gave the girl one last look, then entered the foyer.

It would be easy, he reassured himself. He just had to go in, do what needed to be done, then it'd all be over. He wouldn't have to be scared anymore. The monk reached out to the doorknob, clasping it tightly in his small pale hand, and turned it.

First, there was darkness. He held his breath. Then the voice, low and smooth as ever, cooed as if it was right behind him: "Welcome back to another exciting questionnaire!" A garbled, distorted laugh soon followed.

The lights came on, and there he was; the man in green, and only green. There was a bed beside him, but MM wouldn't dare to look (she's there she's dead her blood's all over the sheets who did this to you) at it. There was a teddy bear, too, but its owner was still a mystery.

"I've killed everyone you love," the man (monster monster monster)   snarled into his mic, taking one step towards MM. His movements were graceful but stilted, human but artificial. "Everyone you loved is DEAD." The room felt like it was slowly turning more and more with every minute that passed. "I hung myself," he continued, clasping a hand around his own neck as if he was choking himself (i wish you actually were o how i wish), and MM felt the noose around his own neck tighten. "Because I couldn't live with the guilt!" The bastard leaned over as he sung those damning words, his pristine white grin widening. He was mocking him, the monk thought again. He always was.

In a jagged motion the man lurched back and he laughed and didn't stop. It hurt MM's ears, the way it bounced all around the room, it hurt it hurt it HURT but it wouldn't hurt for much longer. All he had to do was raise the gun, point it at the man's stupid fucking smiley face and pull the trigger-

BANG.

The man was sent back into the wall, red blood (what a surprise) dripping down his face. MM lowered the gun, his body trembling. As he stared at the man's lithe, unmoving form, a familiar tune came to mind: 'Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead!' His muscles relaxed and the gun fell to the floor with a final, almost ceremonial thump. The urge to cry rose, preparing to release all of the pent up frustration and terror-

CRACK.

MM looked once more.

The man's neck snapped back up and the laughing resumed, much quieter but just as piercing (of course he would of fucking course). It broke off into heavy breathing as they continued to stare at each other. Cracking sounds cut through the air as the man slowly got up in a manner akin to a marionette's strings being pulled. MM felt his heart stop.

Without a second thought, he turned and barged elbow-first through the door, met with a dark hall and thick fog. The little marshmallow had no time to wonder or pause, not anymore. He ran and kept running, even as his legs began to ache and throb.

A dull light flickered to life not too far in the distance, and MM swore he almost cried out in joy (not yet not yet you MONSTER). The second the source-a door-came into view he carelessly threw himself at it, barging in without resistance. 

Scrambling to his feet, he lurched back towards the door and shut it, locking it with a button on the base of the doorknob.

He allowed himself to actually breathe, as his lungs hurt almost as badly as his legs did. Sliding down the door and to the floor, he got to look around. He'd found himself in a dingy bathroom with navy blue tiles and brown walls- rather ugly, if he was going to be honest. There was an old sink with a dusty mirror above it and an empty, unassuming bathtub.

It was quiet. He liked that.

THUMP.

His breath hitched and he instinctively crawled away from the door. What was that? his brain screamed, quickly answering its own inquiry with the memory of the man grinning devilishly at him. Something was wrong. Terribly, horribly, undeniably wrong.

THUMPTHUMP.

The monk got up to his feet, his heart thumping against his ribcage. This was a dead end, and he had no means of escape (stupidstupidstupid). Something was out there. Something that wouldn't take this offense kindly.

THUMPTHUMPTHUMP.

He glanced about wildly, gritting his teeth. There was nowhere he could hide, nobody he could turn to. For a moment, he even wished Simon was there.

THUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMP.

He backed up against the wall by the sink as the sounds grew louder and faster (god why couldn't you let me have this why why why why why).

THUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMP.

Marshmallow Monk sat, cried and waited for death.

THUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPCRASH.

What kinds of things do you post on this blog?: This is a side trove for Drarry and HP universe gold. Occassional other ships when they’re fun. As of the moment, it’s mostly reblogs, but I think I’ll find my voice eventually.

Do you have any other blogs?: My primary blog is @syrille, which is more diverse reblogging of various interests, also posts on real life. Secondary blogs are @cinderssplinter, which is more shipping, bandom and general geekiness, and @vicchanxmaccachin, which is hoarding for Yuri!!! on Ice.

Do you get asks regularly?: Very rarely, but they are welcome. :)

Why did you choose your URL?: It’s a love song by The Eels that I like. I also think it could describe how Drarry would feel once they see each other in a different light, because I’m a sap. Also, there’s a line that goes: “I’ll make a safe bet: you’re gonna get whatever you need”, which sounds like both a promise and a wish, because I’m a sap.

Gender?: Female

Hogwarts House?: Ravenclaw (accdg to new Pottermore), but I’m having an identity crisis. I tried getting into Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff through other accounts in the old Pottermore, because I wanted more adventures on both houses, and the books didn’t say much. But I always sorted Gryffindor whatever sorting I took, and I’ve always felt I was Gryff for years. I’m taking being a Ravenclaw as a challenge now.

Favorite color?: Light and fresh greens and blues, such that you would find by the sea.But I also get brightened by fiery tones and earth tones. Pastels are welcome, too.
