one thing i find myself thinking about fairly often is how little sleep bunny and leon must’ve gotten on their respective journeys, at least for a good portion of it. like w alfredo he’s born and raised in the wasteland, he’s been surviving through it all from the start. even w the initial amnesia, the survival skills are nothing new. muscle memory. but bunny and leon? going from pre-war and vault life respectively, sleeping comfortably to suddenly being thrown into the wild?

like both get used to it eventually, leon especially since he goes on to be a traveling doctor and has to get used to all that, but it’s still just an interesting point to both their characters i think. i like the intimacy that comes from them getting to just sleep beside their own partners, even if it’s before any real romantic interactions happen between them. that trust and closeness, that moment when they can let their guard down even just a little. it’s sweet.
