After I upload the Pleasant family and their house (this week, after the sim dump is posted tonight) I want to do a build that's a little different than a suburban home or community lot as there are many of those out there.

how big is your mods folder? idk in the 1000's prbly,Idk how to check how many files I have and I am not counting them....

how would you describe your style? lol as someone who has OSDD that is a hard thing to differentiate...I don't have a set style, Sim or otherwise.

what is your favorite challenge? I've only done 2 challenges. The Zodiac one (which was being buggy so I quit) and the crybaby whims one which I am on currently. Unless you count Random Genetics. I am planning on doing the Teen Runaway and Whimsy Stories.

do you make cc? if so, what kind? No Idk how.

what type of cc do you hoard? Mainly CAS items and Clutter. But lately I have been downloading alot of Mods.

what default eyes and skin do you use? I don't really pay attention.

how many urls have you had, and what are the meanings behind them? For The Sims? This is my only one.

who is your favorite gameplay blog? I prefer watching on YouTube. Like Syd Mac and LivingDeadGal Sims.

who is your favorite storytelling blog? Again YouTube. Some of My current faves are MissLollyPop, Draeyad, SilverhairSimmer, Neecxle and Ligayatrait.

who is your favorite cc creator? Of all time? @noodlescc or @noodlessorbets as well as @remussirion and @pralinesims. I also really like @aharris00britney @simpliciaty-cc @serenity-cc Lumpinou, MissyHissy, @ratboysims @trillyke @thepeachyfaerie @kawaiistacie @mechtasims and @sims41ife to name a few lol

how do you edit your photos? I just use my reshades and Microsoft Image editor.

what is the last screenshot you took? I will show you. A random Sim I made that I thought looked like Naomi Campbell.

what do you do when you are unmotivated? Create Sims via random genetics or decorate via generators.

who is your current favorite sim? I should probably say one My Alters I made lol But rn it would have to be these two cuties, that are the kids of My main in the crbaby whims challenge. They are twin preteens. Marigold and Mabel. idk why there shirts look blurry they are fine in game. Also ignore the out of order numbers in this survey, that's what happens when I add pics.

who is your current favorite sim that is not by you? That I've downloaded and have a screenshot of...Probably Raina from Mokah

do you talk about sims with people in real life? Not unless they play.

how many of the packs do you own? All except Moschino (which I'm planning to buy) Star Wars, and most of the kits.

what are your thoughts on the most recent pack? (WereWolves) I wasn't too impressed after I bought it, it actually annoyed me that you couldn't do anything while being one (as a Beta anyway) but after watching others play I've started appreciating it more.

how many hours have you played sims? 5 or more.

if you play gameplay, do you play with mods? Yes always it's boring otherwise.

what’s the farthest you’ve gotten in a challenge? Currently with My Crybaby Whims Challenge, Delilah had twins with her husband but also her ex (twice which was an accident) So now she has 3 sets of twins which was a nightmare until I aged them up. Victor and Liliana know about the affairs (I also think they may like each other) so now I'm just waiting for Delilah to age up so she can get a divorce, move out with the kids and become a politician. I might have her become official with Lorenzo but he's kind of a tool...so...

Pink Flashing Experience Research Survey!

Hi TS2 community, I am very interested in learning more about the way pink flashing happens or doesn't happen in different people's games. I have put together this kinda fairly detailed survey as a Google Form that hopefully can shed more light on the issue.

If you are familiar with your computer and graphics settings, you can easily finish the survey in about 5 minutes. If you need to look a few things up, it could take 10-15.

If you had flashing with some settings and resolved it, please consider filling out the form twice - once describing your experience before you fixed it and again for after. If not, please just use your post-fix experience.

Please, please reblog as data is only as good as the breadth of its sample. A summary of the results are viewable to all upon completion of the survey and I am happy to share more detailed findings with the modding community, just let me know.

A long time ago, I had an idea to make a really detailed survey to get a sense of how the average reader consumes stories on simblr, but the project as I imagined it was too ambitious and I lost steam. I decided to revive a version of it using tumblr polls, so I’ll be posting a couple questions in the coming weeks/days and then putting together a synthesis post with all the responses.

That's what I wrote. Ciudad Enamorada has just no vibe imo. But I also think that Copperdale has a great vibe, and Moonwood Mill :3 It's just my opinion. I started a build in the new world and I planned for us to move there for a while but it's just not talking to me. San Sequoia never talked to me either. Ach dammit, I forgot to mention the bugs! Lol, but I think they are aware.

🌸: Main Characters

So I actually have my own personal definition of Main Vs. Side characters. To me, a main character is anyone who gets a post written from their perspective. A side character, while they may feature heavily in the plot, never actually gives us their perspective. So in that definition Giorgio, Summer, and George are all side characters, while Josephine or Virginia would be considered main characters.

Then I have other definitions for things like main vs. secondary heir, spares, etc. We’ve got a whole Darlington categorization system going on for the eventual Darlington battle royale (who’s your favorite) survey waiting for us at the end 😉

🌻: Side Characters

I had mentioned this briefly but Giorgio was originally two characters. Jo’s partner in New Orleans and the eventual man they meet out West were actually written as two different people, who neither Zelda nor Antoine really knew that well. In this version, Josephine is the one who spearheads their move out West.

Everything kind of just grew as I wrote, although the first time we see Giorgio, I had never intended for him to be a reoccurring character. That’s why we got his character bio so much later, when I had decided that he was going to play a pivotal role.

🌹: Plot

So kind of in line with that, you can see how despite having some core plot points mapped out well in advance (like moving out west) I change a lot as we go, based on y’all feedback and how things are feeling to me at the time. It’s one of the wonderful things about simblr, since we have more freedom to kind of morph and edit as we post based on interaction and what we as writers learn about our characters over time.

💐: World-Building

Well for my fellow builder, of course I have to talk about builds! So I actually build quite a lot in this game. I think I have about a hundred (or maybe less y’all don’t quote me 🤣) builds on my gallery and I regularly just build for myself as stress relief. However I haven’t actually built a single lot in this story from scratch.

For whatever reason I find it so much easier and less stressful to find builds either here on Tumblr or on the gallery and then edit/redecorate them to suit the story.

Employee Quality of Life Survey

As I mentioned in a previous post, there are 100+ posts in the queue and I've set it for 10/day.

I think this is great for not spamming anyone's dash, but it also means that the 108th post will not be added to the directory until September 3rd. I really don't want anyone who originally posted between the 17th and the 23rd of August waiting that long to be introduced.

Once we are caught up (meaning any new submissions will post within 48 hours), additions will be posted as they arrive via "the simblr office" and "thesimblroffice" tags, on my dash, @'d, or are submitted via Ask. So...
