#sim: roxie lin of riverview

PSA for EA next time they want to make Sims: Just because a Sim has the grumpy trait, you do not have to make their mouth corners descend to the pits of Hell itself.

This is Roxie Lin of Riverview. I mostly tweaked her eyebrows, made her nose a little bit more proportionate, and (of course) raised those mouth corners up from perdition. Not my best work, but still an improvement, I think.

Also, gold earrings with a silver bracelet? Really?

Felony seemed pleased with how the Bachelorette Party went.

Skip ran into some of his extended family while at the gym today. His Uncle Buck married Rayna Kaminski and the two were at the gym on side-by-side treadmills. Also there was Jon Lessen and his teenage daughter, Lin. Jon married the lovely Roxie Lin, and the two also have a son together named Dixon.

Bernard Broke dragged a teen, Isaiah (left), back through the time machine.

Robert and mags Newbie had a second child, Emmet, who fought against aging from a toddler (I didn’t catch him until he was [supposed to be] a teen).  I added him to the household, aged him up and sent him back home.  Somewhere I missed the exchange for Prom dates.  Anyway, Emmet showed up and asked Isaiah to go steady on the dance floor.

On a side note:  Trigger Broke is in a relationship with MaryKay Shallow, but the two have never cohabitated or ad any children.  Trigger still lives with dad, Buck, and his new wife Roxie and sister Susie (who is also in a long distance relationship - with Bob Newbie).

*distracted wave* Sorry this blog has gone silent again. I binge played my legacy a few weekends ago and have the queue set until almost the end of October on that blog. >.< Since then, I have been playing around with creating some of my favorite sims from sims 3′s Riverview in the sims 4.

This is the Lin Sisters: Roxie (I always believed that was short for Roxanne) and Shirley. For some reason, EA thinks that all sisters need to be complete opposites! *shrug* I’m adding a few pics of them to my queue now.

The first day in the game was either Saturday or Sunday so I sent Tristan to the park to play guitar because that's what he wanted. And also because there was a chance that Isabella would be there too. So he started playing and I started waiting for her.

First I was distracted by Lin Sisters because Roxie is my main sim in the Midnight Sun gameplay and I like her interactions with her sister Shirley - pretty dysfunctional with hilarious outcomes. In this setting they sold their parents' house and moved from Riverview to Moonlight Falls to start anew and maybe fix their relationship. Roxie hasn't left for the deserted island yet. I think we'll kind of learn why she left.

Also watching Tristan playing guitar on his own was boring so I tagged along for awhile. Then Isabella and her father appeared on the picnic area. Lin Sisters still chatting in the background a little left to Chris Cotton's shoulder. And in the last screenshot you can see poor Tristan in the distance just a little further from the public bathrooms - still playing his guitar all alone.

Isabella seemed out of it pretty much akin to her movie version while Chris was telling her that everything would be alright. -"I'll find a new job soon. And we'll settle slowly." Isabella reticent - "Hmmm..." So the first day ended like so without any interaction between Tristan and Isabella.

Connor met Roxie at the park, and despite their worst traits trying their level best to make the interactions fail, they became fast friends. Connor even invited Roxie home with him, which she gladly accepted. That irresistible trait is doing some heavy lifting. He winked at her and she made this face.

I mean, look at her, she's clearly one smitten kitten. Or possibly...a wolf? 😈

Towards the end of the night Felony decided to dance on the bar. She might be pregnant but that isn't going to stop her from having a good time.

Felony went back to Shirley's house the next day and met her sister Roxie. A successful plasma donation was followed by a little flirting.

Felony and Roxie are sort of an item. Felony managed to turn Roxie (which I wasn't able to catch) so that's 1 and 19 more to go.

With at least four times the crowd than at the park, he easily fulfilled his wish to earn §1000 in tips from these generous souls.
