The tents were quiet and the stands were empty by the time that Caethriel returned to the Argent Tournament grounds. Several people passed him on their way to bed, but no one stopped to meet his gaze. Although it was not his inclination, Caethriel went straight to Crusader Aestus who had been charged with organizing the event. As Cae began to speak, Aestus clapped him on the shoulder.
“See you tomorrow,” he said on his way past.
No reprimanding. No accusation. Not even an acknowledgment that he had been gone. Caethriel was aware he smelled of ale and stale popcorn. Why did no one comment? He glanced across the grounds to the banners that Caethriel had specifically been tasked with setting up. They still sat in a neat pile to the side, some bolts of fabric still rolled up in the crate they had traveled in. His work had been ignored, and still, no one noticed.
With nothing left to lose, the quel’dorei walked to the building where High Crusader Adelard was seated. At the very least he needed them to know about his decision to take on this spellbreaker project. If they needed him for duty with the Crusade, it was better to schedule that sooner rather than later.
“Sorry to bother you this late,” Caethriel began as he approached the human behind the desk. “I need to request leave. Th-”
“Granted. See you when you get back,” the commanding officer responded without looking up from his writing.
Caethriel stood in stunned silence. He waited a moment, watching to see if Adelard would produce papers for his leave. Nothing. He muttered a half hearted phrase of thanks on his way out.
He had been gone, and no one had even noticed. Was he truly such a fixture that he blended into the background? As the crusader headed into his tent, he stared at the contents of his bunk. Adelard had not even asked how long he would be gone.
Dufflebag in hand, Caethriel knocked loudly on his friend’s door. The dark haired man stared bleary eyed as he had been roused from sleep, staring out of the doorway to his Stormwind apartment.
“Shit Cae. It’s almost four in the morning. Did they kick you out?”
Caethriel shook his head as he strolled into Halidren’s domain. “No.”
In further confusion, Hal shut the door. “You leave then?”
“They didn’t even realize I was gone.”
With a grimace, Halidren gestured to his couch. “Well, it’s all yours.”
The elven man pulled a blanket from his luggage and slung it over his shoulders, silently seething as he stared into the upholstery. Would they have noticed if he hadn’t shown up those years ago? Were these the people he had dedicated so much of his time to?
As he lay in unrest, and the questions only stacked on top of each other, Caethriel cursed the ale that threatened to reintroduce itself to his throat and mouth.

Meet the Adventurer: Micaiah Dawnbreaker
Alias? Micaiah Silverdawn
Race? Half-elf
Class? Spellcaster, focused on divine magic.
Backstory: Born to the magical elven woods, Micaiah Dawnbreaker has a human father and an elven mother. Being a druid, his father fell in love when he was rescued by her mother, who was a protector to the magical beings that lived there.
Raised in a magical environment, it would not take long for the young child to learn more about her magic, which came to her in the form of prophetic dreams and the visions of angels and light. Her childhood was a peaceful one, but during a magical pilgrimage with her parents, the family encountered a magic academy for outlanders, which would technically qualify for their family, being residents of the elven woods. Seeing that this academy boasted on bringing outlander family mages to the cities and wanting a better future for their child, the parents decided to enroll her in the academy.
As she started to grow, so too did her power. As her power grew, the more diligent and expectations the academy became. As her work grew, the more distant she became of her family and her forest. And then, at her eighth birthday, when she passed the advanced magic exam with flying colors reserved normally for teenage mages, she was "sent" to a boarding school closely associated with the academy, much to her parent's protest. Without any reliable way to contact from her parents aside from sending letters and the occasional fortune reading.
A few months later, when she tried to escape from the academy to go back to her home, she was stopped by the very magic of the academy, unable to feel comfortable in her own skin once she stepped out of the barrier. Her professors would simply give her a quiet threat:
"Leave this school, and you will never do magic ever again, and you would disappoint your parents after all the sacrifice they did to send you here in our trust."
Believing that her parents were the reason she was here, and that her magic was quickly fading away the longer she was outside the barrier, she returned back to the academy in tears and in defeat, and eventually stopped contacting her parents altogether once the messages oddly started sounding the same.
For the next eight years, Micaiah would be trapped in the academy and raised by both professors and caretaker, where she was supposedly destined to become a wizard who can achieve divine powers that would otherwise only be reserved to clerics. She grew up to be meek and quiet and follow authority without question, lest the invisible Weave and the gods punish her for doubting her masters. Her auburn hair would turn into silver due to her divine bloodline that was discovered at age 12, which in turn led to her professors and eventually her classmates calling her Silverdawn. Eventually, she got tired of correcting them and accepted it as her new surname.
One day, as she was studying a rune portal for an assignment, a disturbance in the Weave caused her to be sucked into the portal, and all of her magical strength seemed to be pushed out.
Collapsing in a foreign woodland, and using the last of her strength to concentrate on what she thought would be her last spell, she attempts to contacts her parents. She quickly passes out afterwards, but the magical footprint that was left was undeniable.
Her parents are still alive, and they are still searching for her.

Sketchtember day 6, prompt: oldest oc.
My oldest oc that I've kept is Silverdawn, I actually quite like her. She's incredibly special to me, being my first ever oc tbh.
She's been through a few updates, so I'll drop her old stuff here.
Silverdawn was a bloodclan warrior and mate to Scourge, she was exiled from Thunderclan because she murdered her mentor for no apparent reason. Like I never gave her a reason.
She had kits, killed several leaders after Scourge died and took over the forest.
her current story:
Silverdawn is a direct descendant of Scourge, specifically his half sister. She was a kitty pet who joined Riverclan, she ended up joining Bloodclan before the war with Lionclan. She saw Scourge as powerful and wanted his favor to ensure her survival.
When bloodclan lost, she had tried to rejoin Riverclan and failed. So she quickly took over Bloodclan out of pure spite. When the clans moved, so did Bloodclan.
She eventually gave birth to three kits, who she gave clan names to remind them of what they could've had: Ashkit, Cinderkit, and Sootkit.

Cold disappointment.
Tumblr media
“Block 14 B for you, and you, the human girl, in 16 C.”
That was a sentence that kept repeating in her head. The lackluster specimen that had assigned them their new accommodations upon arrive to the tournament grounds was going to be a face she would remember for a while, if only out of spite and bitterness. The slight panic and confusion in her most favorite half-elf most certainly was effective at setting the priestess on edge. They had barely arrived and already they sought to split them up.
Selennis of course had ulterior motives for following her dear Ampyria to this chaotic place. Aside from blind loyalty, a place such as a tournament ground was likely filled with countless materials for her research. Men and women alike advertising themselves and applying their prowess in combat for glory and reward. The thought had soured however, as she followed the paladin in near silence, keeping out of focus from her rampage to find answers.
There was no reconciliation for their complaint. They had deemed her favored soul to ride for the humans. Selennis however, was unmistakably elven. There was no amount of make-up or dress that could allow her to pass as a clumsy loud mouth.
She had overheard the conversation between her comrade and Crusader Caethriel Silverdawn, and he had said his piece. They were to seek out their respective barracks and make due.
Selennis gave her friend a rare, assuring smile and waved her off. Orders were orders... most of the time. Her mind was set to resolve this issue sooner or later, especially when she set foot in her assigned tent. 14 B... She wasn't sure what she should have expected from her fellow elves, but this was less than tidy. She scrutinized the bedding, the arrangement of furniture and any personal items she could spot that had no business just sitting in the open for her viewing pleasure.
The priestess was anal about her environment, tidy to an almost obsessive degree. There were two empty beds available still in this lodging. She chose the one furthest in the back, tucked away to a corner. She promised herself that it wouldn't be forever and that privacy and comfort were on the horizon.

A person of the interweb enter into a strange side blog...
This was probably not where they were trying to arrive at, but it's a cozy enough place to take a break. You open the imaginary doors and you see that this is a guild hall.
In this guild hall, the main places of interest are the tavern, the bulletin board, the study, the archival, and the Guildmaster's room.
This is the masterlist.
The Guildmaster's Room is the place to insert your asks and submissions to the Guildmaster or to the characters, and for the Guildmaster (yours truly) to send their own messages! This is a message from the Guildmaster themselves:
The tagging system for this blog is [name of game], [adventurer's name]! And posts from me will be #from the guildmaster!
In the Bulletin Board, this is a tracker for any active games.
Active quests:
Village Witch w/ Micaiah. Parts 1 2 3...
In the Tavern, you will find the adventurers that work in the guild. Other adventures also come and go, making this a good place to exchange information.
The current adventurers:
Micaiah SIlverdawn (Human White Mage)
More to come...
In time, other adventurers may be allowed to enter the roster through submissions, or through the Children's Garden. The OP is the same for all of them.
In the Study, this is where all of the worlds that the adventurers have entered in at least once. When you open up a book, you would be able to immerse yourself with all of the information necessary to enter into the world, as if you were transported to another place entirely...
Available volumes:
Village Witch by Elliot Crow
More to come...
In the Archival, this is a record of all the completed adventures for future newcomers to arrive and reflect on.
Entries:
None...yet.
With all the information laid out, enjoy your time at the Little Adventure Corner! We hope to see you around.
Guildmaster Ethera
