We already know quite alot about twisted bendy/ink demon in this au. But can you tell us some stuff, lore and trivia about his cartoon counterpart "Bendy T. Imp"?

Okie dokie

Bendy was conceptualized in 1928 by Henry and debuted in Drew and Stein Studio’s animated short “Lil Devil Darlin” in 1929. His first design was much more innocent looking.

Bendy’s rise to popularity attracted the attention of film distribution company, Sillyvision films, the studio partnered with them and this led to the name change to “Sillyvision Animation Studios”. Bendy underwent a redesign here to align with Joeys views for the character more.

In the only published book by the studio simply titled “The Bendy Book” a section tells the supposed origin story between bendy and joey. After being kicked out of hell, one day bendy popped out of Joeys fireplace. Joey said he could make him a star, and the rest is history. (Might be making something about this soon 😋 stay tuned).

Ok as for him in the cartoons: his personality is pretty similar, just a bit more of a troublemaker. He is still best friends with Boris, who sadly gets roped into his antics unwillingly. Bendy and Alice were originally love interests but that was later changed as the studio received backlash for going against Christian beliefs

Ima yap about my new au that needs a name It’s about if another angel demon war started

•the war starts 3 years before the main timeline starts in the original au (to explain better bendy would be 15 when it starts )

•the cupbros are fighting with the demons cause they still own their souls to the devil

•most young angels are sealed away in upper for protection but Alice runs away to help with the war

•holly runs away from home since it becomes a battlefield unfortunately she got separated from her mother fortunately she somehow got to the sillyvision where she met bendy and Boris

•Holly teaches everyone about runes and magic and people being desperate learn

•she and bendy created a safe house with her using the vanish rune to make it appear as another house She also has then wear it when they go out to get food and other supplies

•Holly actually ends up being attacked by some angels cause they saw her with a demon and assumed she was an enemy Thankfully they think they killed then and leave But they cut Hollys arm off and as she was bleeding out she knew she was going to die…. At least she was supposed but bendy did the same thing he did with cups and replaced her arm To shock to do anything they returned home And were greeted by hateful comments from people because bendy was using magic

•bendy doesn’t sleep for days knowing in his gut that if he does holly will die so her and Boris take care of her condition(no one else wanted to help so they wouldn’t get ‘cured’) they also make her a arm so finally bendy gets some sleep

•bendy also almost gets killed in his sleep from fear of everyone around thinking he want to control them So holly and Boris were like ‘cuss this’ and let They let and ended up in toontown

•they end up finding Dr Oddswell and he lets them live with him in his bunker with the rest of the house And the micky crew (this was the safest option for them)

•bendy and Holly again end up securing the place by engraving the vanish rune on every floor and in every single room also having every pice of clothing have the rune so they could easily go anywhere without being spotted

•bendy end up experimenting with his magic more to help everyone He helps so the food can be grown inside the bunker so people won’t have to venture out for food He helps run the electricity there He helps heal anyone that gets hurt

•and because bendy has a bleeding heart he goes out to help any survivors even though no one’s allowed because demons will kill you if your lucky and angels kill any dark creatures without hesitation But bendy goes out anyway and that is how he brings more people in the bunker The warnars, Felix , Cala Maria , Alice and cupbros

•both cupbros were dying on the street with a hole in their chests bendy heard them because cuphead was crying out apologizing for even getting mugs in this situation while Mugman was crying saying that he forgave him and was happy that he gets to spend his last moments with him It was kinda awkward when they realized they weren’t actively dying anymore as bendy waved shyly at then asking if they would like to join him whit others in the bunker

•others that got rescued decided to help with the war and fight bringing bendy along so they wouldn’t die

•bendy gets the nickname ‘mother’ (iykyk)

•for ink pieces I don’t have everything sorted out But! Holly , Boris and bendy stumbled upon the doll and just bring it along ( mostly because bendy seemed it would help them somehow) The cog bendy easily got out from Cala monster(?) Since it was no longer able to move Also because of the war Sarah actually ends up expanding the labyrinth like she wanted to

•bendy gets super overwhelmed with all the pressure and it sickens him that he’s basically reviving people just for them to die again

•Boris is was more angry and so much possessive of bendy so much so that he hates when anyone else tries to be friends with bendy (he traumatized)

•cuphead at first want to use bendy’s power to defeat the devil and get their souls back But eventually he changes his mind (It be like that when you start to feel bad for the person you were gonna try to use)

•Alice gets a brutal wake up call about how demons and angels are cruel for starting this war

•going back to the ink machine pieces they don’t what they are they just know their powerful (also there is the reason why they are so much easier to get them the og story)

•bendy heals himself and gets better vision (he still needs glasses but now he won’t accidentally run into a wall) , his whole body isn’t hurting constantly and he gets his elf ears back (THIS MY STORY AND I GET TO GIVE HIM CUTE LITTLE ELF EARS IF I WANT!!)

•Boris has very dark intrusive thoughts about killing everyone so he’s brother will be free from the stress they kinda scare him

•cupbros try very hard to help without get injured So those Alice but she’s not willing to admit that yet

•anyone that tries to disrespect bendy will be given a stern warning from red and dr Oddswell while every else glares (that demon is the reason your not only here instead of wandering off but alive too)

•bendy is slowly becoming more and more paranoid and his memory is getting worse

Inky Mystery Audrey AU

I've been chatting about this au idea with my dear friend @paint-n-thinner ever since Dark Revival came out and now I'm going to make all of you Inky Mystery fans listen to me talk about it too! That goes for you too @theinkymystery !

 I'm sure everyone who follows my blog knows by now I'm a sucker for family fluff stuff for movies/shows/stories/etc. If not, then you definitely know now!

So you can imagine I like how in dark revival, Audrey and Bendy are sorta technically siblings. Bendy being older since he was made first. I love hunting for fics where Bendy and Audrey act like a family together. Giving each other the comfort they both need.

Considering I've been reading Bendy and Boris and the Inky Mystery, I couldn't help myself and wondered "What if Audrey was in this?"

I've been talking about this for months with paint-n-thinner, talking about a lot of deep detailed stuff, but I'm going to try my best to keep this short and simple for now. If you guys want to hear more I'll add more information. 

Now then! Let's get started! 

About two years before the events of Inky Mystery starts, Bendy and Boris run into a little girl, or more accurately, she runs into them while trying to flee with food she stole, but since she wasn't watching where she was going and bumped into the brothers, the person she stole from caught up. Bendy quickly calming the situation down before it escalates badly, and offers to pay for the food the kid took so she can keep it and the guy leaves her alone. Thankfully it works, once the person leaves, Bendy and Boris get a better look at the kid.

Her clothes would be raggy and barely doing anything to protect her from the elements, she'd also be covered in a thin layer of white fur with large black spots, her right arm having a big black spot that wraps around the palm of her hand and part of her arm, while her left arm is completely engulfed in black fur all the way up to her neck. The white part of her eyes would be yellow, almost looking like they glow when they catch the light, while her iris/pupils would be black.

She would also have a skinny tail, and two horns coming out of her black curly hair.

After they find a place to sit down and talk while the girl eats, Bendy and Boris learn that her name is Audrey, she's MAYBE 4 or 5 years old (she's not sure) and she's been on her own for as long as she can remember. Bendy’s the first demon she's ever met, or at least remembers meeting since she doesn't know who her parents are.

Considering she's in a situation similar to how they grew up in their early years, Bendy and Boris offer her a place to stay since they know the cops in sillyvision would barely be any help whatsoever, and the orphanage they've been in and out of isn't exactly ideal either. Audrey takes them up on their offer, and over time gets very attached to the two until she starts calling them her brothers as well.

That basically covers how they all met and became a little found family. Now for some quick fun facts my friend and I came up with before I wrap this up.

-Audrey has a talent she calls “Flow”, as long as she sees where she’s going and doesn’t have a window/door/etc blocking her way, she can SORTA teleport short distances (depends on a person’s definition of teleporting though). She also has other abilities she can do with her talent that she hasn’t figured out how to do yet. (A nod to the powers Audrey gets in the Dark Revival game)

-Her favorite piece of clothing is an old baggy blue sweater that used to belong to Bendy. He gave it to her to keep her warm when they first met and told her she could keep it. It's basically like a security blanket for her and she's either always wearing it or has it wrapped around her waist when it's too hot out.

-her go to outfit by the time the Inky Mystery story starts is her sweater, an old tan shirt, baggy brown overalls, brown gloves, and large brown boots, almost all of her clothes formerly belonging to either Bendy or Boris that Sasha adjusted so they could fit her better.

-Give this girl something she can draw with and she'll go NUTS. She gets her hands on a rock and she'll use it as sidewalk chalk to draw all over the sidewalk outside the apartment where she and her brothers live.

-Bendy and Boris always make sure they have enough cash to get her a notebook and pencil to draw with now and then, occasionally a box of crayons too which Audrey uses for VERY special drawings.

-despite how bills get a BIT tighter with raising a little girl, Bendy and Boris do their best to make sure Audrey has a better childhood than they did. Safe warm place to sleep, clean clothes, teach her whatever she needs to know, and make sure she doesn't go hungry.

-Audrey loves both of her brothers equally. 

-She loves sitting in Boris’s lap and watching Mickey’s circus show with him.

-She also loves when Bendy uses his Felix the Cat books to teach her how to read. Both of them get excited over the adventures Felix goes on.

-Her favorite animals are ducks. Her favorite toy is a rubber duck her brothers got for her, and she likes watching the ducks whenever her brothers would take her to the park.

-Her favorite food is hotdogs, happily eating one with mustard as she watches Bendy and Boris bicker over claiming the last piece of bacon. She thinks her brothers’ bacon addiction is weird.

-That being said, she LOVES chocolate donuts. She’d eat a baker's dozen if someone would let her. Which Bendy and Boris don’t. They love their little sister dearly but they really don’t need a hyper child bouncing off the walls before the stomach ache kicks in.

- Don’t let her cuteness fool you, she can be a freaking gremlin. Especially towards people she doesn't like, or when she's in the mood to annoy her brothers when she steals Boris's bandana or Bendy’s goggles to make them chase her around the apartment as she giggles.

This is a small rant about the BATIM Epic Mickey AU, still unnamed, specifically about four lyrics from Devil’s Swing that really reminded me of this story and why.

The ending of the book was Joey talking about this “Bendyland” park he wanted to build. While this wasn’t exactly the bad thing, it fueled Joey’s urge to better his career. He wanted things to be bigger and better, so to speak, and he started to get consumed by this desire.

Ink incarnate, that’s sinning

This line talks about when Joey started messing with the ink machine and demonic rituals. After Bendy failed to be perfect, to be the way Joey wanted, because he was lacking a soul, Joey began to use people to try to make cartoons. For whatever reason, all attempts at Bendy still failed. The sacrificing of people and demonic rituals is “that’s sinning”.

Do you have a backstory for cuphead and mugman in the cyberpunk au?? Also what aesthetic is the cyber punk mostly based on or is it just only cyberpunk???

Ok I don’t think I really have a lot for Cuphead and Mugman’s backstory it’s pretty much like OG IM. Cup and Mugs gambled their souls tried to get their souls back, lost, becomes trained by Black Hat, and they become hit men working for the Devil bringing us to when they join the quest. The only major thing I can think of in terms of differences from that story line would be how they got their cyberware so I guess I’ll explain that.

Simply put there was a mission that went wrong when they were about 13 and 16 years old. They weren’t expecting explosives on the mission so cup and mugs woke up days later both missing an arm, cup losing an eye, and Hat and Flug barely managing to salvage Mug’s eye. Thankfully, Dr. Flug and Hat work/invent a lot of cyberware tech so the cupbos were quickly set up with cyberware. Eventually, Cuphead got an AI program installed in his cyberware. The AI is called Chalice (the Devil chose the name as a cruel joke) and she works as kind of a personal assistant to Cuphead and Mugman. Cuphead hates her. Mugs doesn’t mind her. That would have been a year later max after the explosion.

Now. Second question. Which, honestly, I cussing loved this one. This was so much fun to answer. Ok, so, in terms of aesthetics it depends on the location: Hell, the Surface, and the Upper. (Yes I had to look up what the different types of aesthetics are, bear with me. Please.)

For Hell its mostly steampunk/steelpunk inspired in general. I guess it also has some kind of a dark academia/victorian vibe to it. Hell is industrial, dark, dirty, and crude. Pipes and machines are everywhere making up its entire world in a Feísmo aesthetic for buildings and architecture and things. Think of it like the Surface and Upper are much more advanced than Hell, Hell was stuck in the steampunk era because of lack of resources and its seclusion from the rest of the world. So. It’s old, barely functioning, and depressing.

On the Surface you have two different types of settings that are the most important in terms of IM and the cyberpunk AU in general. The city and not the city. (this being places like Sillyvision and the Inkwell Isles.) For the non-city areas its not nearly as technologically advanced as in the city. They still have modern technology but it blends into suburban living. I imagine something kinda vintage and retro. Like retro-futurism, atompunk, technocore, old web. You know. Vintage. I guess.

Now in the city is probably what everyone wants to know. For this I have just a modge-podge of aesthetics. In general I think its cybergrunge. For the tech elements its some variations of abstract tech, nanopunk, and hacker core, obviously. For clothing I took major inspiration from techware styles. Other aesthetics I used in majority were things like arcadecore, raver, glowwave, synthwave, neo-Tokyo, urbancore, and citypop. It’s a lot. I know.

Now the Upper looks almost completly opposite of Hell and the Surface. Pretty much Solarpunk/cyberparadism in majority. I guess I also used some aspects of bloomcore and cloudcore too. This place is supposed to be a utopian ‘paradise’.

In Summary:

Hell: Steampunk/steelpunk, Feísmo, Dark academia, Victorian

Surface out of city: Vintage, Suburban, Retro-futurism, Atompunk, Technocore, Old web

Surface in city: Cybergrunge, Abstract tech, Nanopunk, Hackercore, Techware, Arcadecore, Raver, Glowwave, Synthwave, Neo-Tokyo, Urbancore, Citypop

Upper: Solarpunk/cyberparadism, Bloomcore, Cloudcore
