Honestly I don’t know why I’m surprised about the ending because it was always Jayce and Viktor since season one. Very rarely do these dudes have a conversation about something other than each other when talking to literally anyone else. Jayce can’t go five minutes without reminding someone that Viktor is his partner. Viktor tells like the one other person he talks to outside the lab that Jayce will understand his actions.

The signs were there all along. It was always them.
