Remember not to carry a SIG P320 with a round chambered if you don’t use a model with a manual safety (and if it’s a M17/18, keep it on if you’re not immediately about to fire) because there’s a nonzero chance it’ll randomly fire. Even if you have the “voluntary upgrade” it can still fire. If you carry a sidearm for any reason, be a real person and either carry a 1911 or some other kind of actually-capable-of-being-safe sidearm that won’t send a round into your leg because you moved weirdly. If you can’t properly handle your weapon with an empty chamber and the safety on, you don’t need to carry one.

Accidentally have a new headcanon!

What if Buck joined the marines for his fascination with guns and when he left the marines he got a Sig Sauer P320-M18 (civilian version of marine handgun) that he always took apart and cleaned and fiddled with. He had gotten the proper permits to be able to carry it in public because in LA you never what could happen. Athena had agreed with him but when Eddie got shot he stopped. Eddie asked why but Buck didn’t want to tell him it was cause he had it and was useless anyway when he got shot. To him it didn’t matter that he wouldn’t have been able to see the shooter without a scope because he hadn’t even tried to fire back. Athena would later tell him that not even she could because she couldn’t see the shooter. But every time Eddie asks if he gonna take it with them he feels like a failure.
