Last Sunday I was performed The Zuhr Pray at The Sidi Saiyed Masjid & There's atmosphere is pretty Peaceful & There's Tomb of Sidi Saiyed Right Beside in The Masjid. The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, popularly known as Sidi Saiyyid ni Jali locally, built in 1572-73 AD (Hijri year 980), is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad, a city in the state of Gujarat, India. As attested by the marble tablet fixed on the wall of the mosque, it was built by Sidi Saiyyid in the retinue of Bilal Jhajar Khan, general in the army of the last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate. The mosque was built in the last year of the existence of Gujarat Sultanate. Architecture The mosque is entirely arcuated and is known for its ten intricately carved stone latticework windows (jalis) on the side and rear arches. The rear wall is filled with square stone pierced panels in geometrical designs. The two bays flanking the central aisle have reticulated stone slabs carved in designs of intertwined trees and foliage and a palm motif. Built-in the year 1572-73 AD, the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque is a symbol of a time when Gujarat (Indian state) dwelled and prospered under Muslim rule. This Mosque is famed for the intricate latticework. This Indo-Islamic piece of artwork is often referred to as the Sidi Saiyyed Ni Jali. The elaborate carving on the marble displays the mystical tree and its intertwined branches. The construction of the mosque remained incomplete as per the plan due to the Mughal invasion. It is indeed one of the treasures of the city of Ahmedabad and Incredible India.

સીદીસૈયદની જાળી એ અમદાવાદ શહેરમાં આવેલી સીદીસૈયદ મસ્જિદની એક દિવાલ પર આવેલી પ્રખ્યાત જાળી છે. આ જાળીની ખાસિયત એ છે કે આટલી મોટી જાળી એક જ પથ્થરમાંથી બનેલી છે. આ જાળી નક્શીકામનો બેજોડ નમુનો ગણાય છે. અમદાવાદમાં આવતા વિદેશી નાગરિકો જેની અચૂક મુલાકાત લે છે તે સીદી સઈદની જાળી શહેરના સ્મૃતિચિહ્ન તરીકે પ્રસ્થાપિત થઈ છે. સૂક્ષ્મ અને કલાત્મક કોતરણીની દ્રષ્ટિએ આ જાળી દેલવાડાંના દેરાંની કોતરણીની હરીફાઈમાં ઉતરે એમ છે. ઢળતા સૂર્યનો પ્રકાશ જયારે આ જાળીમાંથી ચળાઈને આવે છે ત્યારે કંઈક જુદું જ વાતાવરણ સર્જાય છે.
