So much so that, at a time when India is mourning the Hathras gangrape case, a slumping economy, and a new coronavirus, 'Bigg Boss' and its current and former participants dominate top Twitter topics. Sidharth Shukla, the show's thirteenth and most competitive season champion, has a legion of SidHearts who make it a point to trend hashtags in his name virtually every day. They serve as a safety net, always ready to protect their idol, even when he goes crazy with his aggression.

Another well-known contender, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, is a close friend (or so we think) of Sidharth. 'Shehnaazians,' as her fans are known, are still fighting SidHearts. Because of the tag 'SidNaaz,' this can be explained. On Twitter, users as young as 12-13 years old compete to prove who, amongst Sidharth and Shehnaaz, "used" the other during the show's run. Despite the fact that the two actors have always vouched for their unshakable bond and friendship, Sidharth's followers call Shehnaaz by vulgar names, while Shehnaaz's supporters call Sidharth by disgusting names.

Even the SidNaazians can't win. The only ones that lose are Sidharth and Shehnaaz. The 'Bigg Boss 14' fraud came soon after the TV TRP fake. According to reports, the producers of the voyeuristic show sought to leverage on the previous season's success and urged Shukla to liven up the otherwise uninteresting bunch by adding spice and 'something good.'

Hina Khan, Season 11's runner-up, and Gauahar Khan, Season 7's winner, were both welcomed as'seniors.' And then something unexpected happened. Gauahar developed a friendship with Sidharth, the same boy she had been bashing on Twitter all season. The hashtag #SidHina was born after Sidharth and Hina made a fool of themselves.

However, when a video of Hina throwing shade at Shuklajee became public at the end of their run, the hashtag met a terrible end. On the other hand, Sidharth remained the same. He screamed at loud levels, fought like his S13 self, flirted like a pro, and screamed like a pro. In the early weeks of the show's run, his debut on Bigg Boss 14 enhanced TRPs, and the channel gave him an unceremonious send-off for the same reason. And there are more people looking at it.

As people get more curious, the number of social media battles will rise. That is exactly what happened. Some "blue ticks" on Twitter stood up for the Khan couple after a contestant, Rubina Dilaik, shouted "women strength" on television — on a subject that had nothing to do with gender. Bigg Boss sided with Hina and Gauahar once more after Sidharth's team lost a task owing to "bahumat" (read: majority).

TV and film actor Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack  today on 2nd September. Sidharth  Shukla who won the controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’, was 40 years old and he took his last breath on Thursday. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. He is best known for his role in TV serial Balika Vadhu.

He has a massive fan following and his sudden demise gave a huge shock to everyone. The news of Sidharth Shukla’ has been confirmed by the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.   Bigg Boss 13 Hindi winner suffered a massive heart attack in the morning.

Rahul Gandhi pays condolences to the TV and film actor Sidharth Shukla’s family.   He said the actor’s demise at such a young age has sent a shock wave.

Sidharth Shukla was an active user of social media sites until earlier this week.  He posted his last tweet on 30th August and  congratulated athletes Sunil Antil and Avani Lekhara on their golds at the Tokyo Paralympics.

 Sidharth Shukla made his acting debut with TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008.  He is also known for the other shows such as Love You Zindagi, Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi, CID and Dil Se Dil Tak.
