Whenever the 104th squad members get sick 🤒

(I have a sore throat right now and so, I decided to do this)

Eren - You thought he’s really moody normally? Well when he gets sick, it’s doubled. He constantly calls for his parents to get food or water or even open his window for him. Doesn’t seem like it’ll change anytime soon.

Mikasa - One of the few times where people see a weak side of her. She becomes very quiet and naps almost all day, only ever waking up to go and get fluids for her dry throat. Yes, she always ends up walking just fine.

Armin - He cannot handle sickness at all. Always sniffling, always coughing and one time, it was so bad that he lost his voice. He stays wrapped up in his bed sheets all day, and the one thing that helps him is reading.

Jean - He’s almost as moody as Eren, but in a different way. His mother will constantly check up on him herself and every time he yells at her to leave him be. That’s what an illness does to an easily embarrassed teen.

Marco - The poor freckled boy finds it hard, even for him, to stay smiling while sick. Luckily he doesn’t mind his mother and sister looking after him, although things get more challenging with Jean watching over him.

Connie - Very whiny and a big liar. Whenever his family turns their backs for one second, they hear video games coming from his room. It’s a new rule in their house when he gets sick and he does not appreciate it.

Sasha - At first, when she was a child, she was mad for never getting to eat anything she likes while sick. Over the years she did got use to it fortunately. Her family learned to make the finest, delicious soup for her.

Historia - Whatever it could be, her big sister Frieda, is always there for her. They’d tell stories from books or from their day-to-day lives. Even if not needed, Frieda always has a barf bucket right away just in case.

Ymir - It’s rare to see her sick, but when she is, Historia takes all the learning from her sister and nurse her girlfriend. She’s the only one Ymir feels comfortable to be sick around, she’d strike out anyone else.

Annie - At first she won’t admit it but once she comes clean, she feels very pathetic. Almost never leaving her room and remains quiet. Hugs from her father are needed.

Reiner - Like Annie, wouldn’t admit at first but gives in once he starts sneezing like an elephant. Everyone of his friends checks on him through texts and he always replies with he’s doing great and still kicking (but he’s not).

Bertholdt - There’s not much of a difference between how he normally behaves with when he’s sick. Except when he’s fast asleep, he rolls around due to his temperature that he falls off his bed… multiple times.

Azula with Tuberculosis Au.

After Agni Kai, Azula locked herself in her room, not wanting to come out, and the only people who entered her room were Zuko and Katara.

She didn't know why, couldn't they just leave her alone? She lost everything, she has nothing to offer or give.

Azula was trying to sleep, after vomiting blood again, Katara said to call her when that happened, but she didn't have the strength to do it, besides, how could she? She couldn't even walk two steps without falling because she was so weak.

She stopped her thoughts when she heard footsteps stopping behind her door and sighed irritably, because she knew who it was.

Slowly Zuko opened the door, peeked his head in, and noticed that Azula was collapsed on her bed, something that was normal nowadays.

"I brought you your food," he murmured, as he entered Azula's room.

Azula didn't know exactly why her brother became nice to her, did he feel sorry for her? She doesn't believe it, Zuko is an idiot, even more so with Azula- the sick.

Zuko waited for Azula to sit on the bed so he could eat, but she didn't. He looked at her as he waited, but she still didn't move, he let out a sigh and put the food on the nightstand.

"Katara says... Katara says you could die," Zuko waited for a response, but it never came.

Minutes passed, until she turned around and looked at her brother.

"Do you think they would miss me if I died?" she asked, staring at him.

Zuko knew who she was talking about, he knew of the strange and complex relationship his sister had with her former friends.

"I...I really don't know, Azula," he let out a sigh and looked away from her. "They're mad at you...and me too."

Azula looked down and slowly sat up on her bed.

"With you?" she asked, in a soft whisper that he couldn't have heard if there were no sound in the room.

"They're furious that I betrayed them, and the Nation... also because I'm the fire lord and not you," he murmured, completely uncomfortable with telling her that.

"Mad at you...even Mai is?" she asked, wanting to know if Mai was still with Zuko.

Zuko clenched his fists unconsciously, but he answered her.

"Yes, she doesn't want to be with me again until you recover," they both knew that won't happen now because of Karara's new diagnosis.

She couldn't help but smile slightly and lowered her head, until Zuko interrupted her thoughts.

"Leave them some letters before you die," he offered, though they both knew that wasn't what he really meant.

"For what? What do you want me to tell them?" She scoffed, wishing he would say it directly.

Zuko let out a very upset sigh, he didn't want to look like an idiot in front of his dying sister, but she could never give him what he wanted.

"I want you to write to Mai so she can date me when you die," he ordered involuntarily, then regretted his words.

"Mai deserves someone to spend her life with," he tried as he looked at the ground, embarrassed by his own words but not wanting to stop.

Azula grabbed the sheets with her hands.

She didn't want to be selfish, but when both siblings were in the same room they both always let out their worst sides.

"I don't want that... I don't want Mai to be with you or anyone else! I don't want Ty Lee with anyone else either!" she yelled angrily at him, as tears fell down her cheeks.

"I want to be with them forever! Even after my death, I want them to love me for at least ten more years!" she cried intensely, finally breaking down.

Zuko looked at her perplexed, and slowly began to cry as well.

Everything was so intense for both of them, Azula was going to die and Zuko was going to lose someone else.

But there was something on both of their minds, and it was that they had never looked alike in their entire lives until now.

As someone who survived abuse and childhood trauma, depression, suicidal tendencies and the works- I am praying. Praying. For the day I can see a tragic character LIVE. I understand the narratives of it and all but to think that there’s always this Line in media that once a character crosses it their only peace is death.

maybe im reading into things too much or maybe this is just common knowledge and im just really slow to find out about it but i just realized that there is some sick and twisted manipulation going on between eren and floch. like. eren really saw the one person who lost everything so abruptly and violently and was like "im gonna convince him the only way to keep his current living friends and family alive is to join my mass murder supervillian genocide plan" and holy shit i just put two and two together

OF COURSE floch's a jagerist he has arguably been through more than (most) of the main cast!!!! and eren's cause promises that he'll never have to suffer that again!!!! its so fucking obvious to me now ohhghhh my godd

OF COURSE he's gonna side with a violent plan he has no lived experience of conflict being solved with diplomacy none of these characters really have but its about how violently his worldview was flipped on its head

i cant remember if he was garrison or mp but either way the fucking whiplash of relatively cozy interior life to literally his first mission HE COMES BACK THE SOLE SURVIVOR OF (that side of the shinganshina wall) YEAH THATD FUCK SOMEONE UP

he is a bonkers good representation of radicalization as a result of trauma and i will not shut up about him

tldr: eren knew what he was doing targeting floch (and floch's probably pretty fragile mental state) into joining his genocide club
