Obligatory Villain!Kaminari Brainrot

So beside my obvious obsession with this AU/theory/headcanon whatever, there’s something that’s got me about Kaminari’s character for a long time now.

If you pay attention to it, or if you watch and read bnha in tinfoil hat mode like me, you might notice that there’s a lot of official art and manga panels where half or parts of his face are hidden.

I’ve really only started paying attention to it once I stumbled over the positive/negative charge/split personality theory. (Check out this video by Hokai on Youtube, it sums it up really well: https://youtu.be/4gH1dYDi3lA)

Now I need to make a slight distinction between panels or anime frames where he’s like half in the frame, which could be coincidences, and those instances, like in official art, that seem like they have a deeper meaning. For example that what we see of him is really only one side, and something else is hidden. A Villain family, a dark past, anger issues, some kind of dark side, or just a secret.

Some of the more obvious examples: 

So this is the very obvious one that makes almost everyone go what the fuck a little. It's pretty old and I think it's actually the one that sparked the whole theory. Here his face is very obviously split in two, and it does not look like a coincidence. With this context, here some other ones:

Those still look pretty intentional. And his face in the fantasy AU? Holy fuck.

Then there's his fight with Shishikura, to date one of my favorite scenes in the manga, because it gives so freaking much thought material about about Kaminari's character. I made a whole own post about this, so I'll spare you the elaboration.

Here again. Pretty obvious. Pretty serious look. If I'm correct this is an official art by Betten Court, the artist of the Vigilantes spin-off.

Keep in mind that in most of the official sketches his face is normal, but those few still stick out, especially the one with the split face. The design of his hair makes it easy to hide parts of his face, even if it's not as obvious as in the sketches above most of the time. There are of course characters like Shishikura, who has half his face hidden by his hair all the time, but I think this is a thing you need to see in context of the character.

I'm probably overthinking this, but I think it's an interesting detail if you keep the split personality theory in mind.

A painful stomachache

Soon the rest of Class 1A returned from the store, “Hey, Everyone” Kirishima and Kaminari said “hey Kirishima and Kaminari” The class said “Oh Yeah Kacchan I didn’t see you” Midoriya said Bakugo looked up from eating his apple.

“Fuck off you damn Nerd I’m not in the mood for your shit” Bakugo said “He can say the same thing for you” Todoroki said “I know you ain’t talking IcyHot” Bakugo said getting up “so what if am?” Todoroki said.

“YOU BASTARD!!!!!” Bakugo yelled “No One cares that you are on your man period '' Todoroki said I’LL SHOW YOU A MAN PERIOD WHEN I CHOP YOUR DICK OFF!!!!! Bakugo Yelled Launching at Todoroki BAKUGO STOP ACTING LIKE MAN CHILD!!! Lida yelled SHUT THE FUCK UP FOUR EYES BEFORE I CUT YOURS OFF TOO!!!! Bakugo yelled Oh no let’s go man Kirishima said grabbing Bakugo by his waist LET ME GO YOU FUCKER!!!!! Bakugo yelled.

Kirishima sat Bakugo down, “dude what’s the matter with you today?” Kirishima asked Bakugo rolled his eyes “it’s nothing” “you can tell us anything” Kaminari said opening the door “Where the fuck did you come from? Bakugo asked Kaminari smiled. “Are you okay Todoroki after Bakugo threatened you?” Midoriya asked “yeah I’m fine he doesn’t Intimidate me” Todoroki said Midoriya smiled. “So you too want to do a contest where we starve ourselves?” Bakugo asked "yeah you in Blasty?” Kaminari asked.

Bakugo took a deep breath as he thought about it. “And by starving ourselves what do you hope to accomplish? Losing a shit ton of weight?” Bakugo asked “well, If I’m being honest I love hearing how anger your stomach sounds when you’re hungry” kirishima said Bakugo smirked “you Fucking weirdo”. Kaminari smiled at the pair.

“So does that mean that you will do it?” Kaminari asked “yeah I’ll do it” Bakugo said “great so tomorrow” Kirishima said, with that Bakugo, Kirishima, and kaminari began with their starving streak. The next day. Bakugo got up early for his morning run, Kirishima got up to work out, and kaminari got up to take his shower.

The hunger wasn’t set in for none of the boys yet. Meanwhile Todoroki and Midoriya got back from the store. They both got spicy things, they got meat, and hamburgers. Todoroki was tired of Bakugo’s rude ass behavior so he was going to teach him a lesson.

Bakugo just got back from his run. His stomach wasn’t growling super loud but it was hurting. Oh boy my gut Bakugo whispered as he gently placed a hand on his stomach. Hey Kacchan Midoriya said as he watched Bakugo rub his gut. Ugh shit Bakugo moaned as he went upstairs to his room.

Kirishima and kaminari walked downstairs to watch a movie. To keep their minds off of their stomachs just like Bakugo’s it wasn’t growling loudly yet.

A couple of hours later a grumpy Bakugo came downstairs, his stomach growling loudly and hurting. Kirishima and Kaminari’s stomachs were loudly growling as well. Hey bakubro, are you feeling okay? Kaminari asked How does it sound? My stomach is noisy and I have a headache Bakugo said yeah me too kirishima said.

This is one of the dumbest ideas you idiots dragged me into, Bakugo moaned. Hey we are not idiots kaminari said YES THE HELL YOU ARE!!!! Bakugo yelled out in anger. Hey, does anyone feel sleepy? Kirishima asked yawning yeah Bakugo and kaminari said before they yawned and just like that they were knocked out.

When the 3 boys woke up they were met with a loud, long painful growl in their stomachs. Bakugo groaned, Kirishima moaned and kaminari cringed. In front of each of them was a table the smell of food hit their noses, their stomachs growling constantly. Soon Todoroki walked out and he brought Midoriya and Tokoyami with him.

Hello Bakugo, kirishima, and kaminari Todoroki said sitting down at Bakugo’s table. What the fuck is this? Bakugo asked his stomach growling loudly oh my how hungry you are Todoroki said mocking Bakugo. Don’t mock me bastard Bakugo growled I won’t mock you but this will Todoroki said lifting up the lids to reveal Spicy chicken wings, spicy noodles, spicy curry, spicy pasta etc.

You bastard Bakugo growled his stomach growled. Midoriya and Tokoyami did the same for Kirishima and kaminari. Todoroki, Midoriya, Tokoyami all ate in front of the 3 hungry boys. Chewing, moaning and groaning, and stomach growls as all you could hear. Kaminari’s stomach growled loudly that he couldn’t hold it back anymore. I give up kaminari said he started eating. Kirishima soon joined him.

Bakugo looked at everyone around him and he started to feel super sick. He threw up before passing out. When Bakugo woke up his stomach was no longer hungry and Todoroki was in trouble.

Kirishima and Kaminari were also in the hospital. After Bakugo’s hospital stay he went home to finish recovering. Kirishima and Kaminari returned to the dorms. From this day forth they are no longer going without eating.
