Taking a cue from the question: "How would the RO'S react if mc suddenly accidentally kiss them when mc trips on them and they both fall in the floor and mc accidentally kissed them?”

How do ??? and L/S react if the MC says this "It was a mistake, forget that kiss"?

??? feels a sneer tightening the edges of his lips. not from how disgustingly close mc's face is but from the odd sting of their words.

how does he forget the beating drum in his chest? or ignore the offensive shiver traveling up his spine? whatever ??? needs to do to get rid of this feeling, he needs to do it fast.

he wipes the blooming warmth from his lips before he shoves mc off of him. standing up from the ground at speeds that make him feel faint.

"what kiss?" he spits before storming away with burning cheeks.

l/s find themselves at a loss for words. Of course, it was a mistake, nothing more.

but they don't want to forget it. they don't want to forget the spreading warmth in his chest. or shun the giddiness they feel at mc's closeness. it was selfish of them, they knew that.

l/s looks away in shame. letting any protests die in the back of their throat before they get up, helping mc in the process.

"as you wish," they bow, taking a prompt leave before any more bits of frustration slip through their cracking facade.

azora was an introverted person, really. apart from when her parents used to make her socialise. she could adapt to a situation easily, mimic other’s behaviours and blend right in. but she was still adventurous. that’s why she had braved it when she learnt the portals were safe and could be used for travel. azora wanted to explore this new world. with a freedom she felt she never had before. “do you know what this place it called?” azora asked another person, after walking around for a bit. maybe they knew a bit about where they were.

Shyla squinted at her friend; head turned slightly to one side at his words. " Do you really think, " she stated, "that anyone could make me forget anything I wanted to remember?" Her eyes twinkled at him. " I'd fist fight them all before I'd let them take them. No Christmas, over my dead body. Though, if they leave Valentines alone, I may be able to survive without..." Dorian always had such interesting thoughts and she always was too much of a goof. Unless it was scientific in nature. "If you could only pick one holiday to keep from being erased from your brain, which would it be ?"

dorian was thinking again. and his thoughts usually spilled out of his mouth into long tangents that the average person struggled to follow. thankfully for him, shyla wasn't the average person. she'd become a dear friend to him during the couple of years he'd called this place home. "do you ever wonder if this will suddenly be the last christmas we ever celebrate?" he asked, although realized quickly how grim that sounded. "i don't mean like, we're gonna die. i just mean like, what if aliens invade and by this time next year, they've erased the entire concept of christmas from our brains?" he personally didn't celebrate christmas, but he loved the atmosphere of it all.

In which I ramble about my ace spec Daniel Jackson headcanon

This post will be exactly what it says on the tin lol. This will be an unorganized post about some scenes with Daniel that strongly feel ace spec to me. This won’t be a well structured essay or anything. Before I get into that, I’ll share a little asexuality 101 info so you know what I’m talking about. If you already know this stuff, feel free to skip to below the read more. 

So! Being on the ace spectrum means you experience little to no sexual attraction. Being asexual isn’t the same as being aromantic. Aromantic means you experience little to no *romantic* attraction. You can be aro and ace, but a lot of ace people aren’t. For instance, I’m grey-ace biromantic, which to me means I very rarely experience sexual attraction to real people but I’m romantically attracted to multiple genders. 

I headcanon as Daniel being ace spec but not aromantic. I don’t think he’s heteroromantic either. I don’t have a label in mind beyond that that I’d give to him. But yeah, that’s the perspective I’m coming from in with my headcanon! 

Here are some moments that stand out as particularly ace to me: 

— When Daniel gets accidentally married to Sha’re in the movie and she starts undressing, he seems very flustered. However, he doesn’t come across as “awkward but turned on” to me. To me, his surprise reads more as someone who has no idea how to react in a sexual situation and, in fact, the situation might not entirely compute for him. 

— There are a couple examples of someone expressing sexual attraction towards Daniel and him not seeming to understand this at all. 

One example is in “Need,” where Shyla tells Daniel “You’re my destiny,” and he incredulously says, “ … What?”

Then there’s the scene in “Bounty” where the assassin lady pretends to be into him and says, “You’re very attractive,” and he’s once again very confused. 

— Soooo many of his interactions with Vala read to me as an ace and allo person who are interested in each other but the allo person doesn’t understand that he doesn’t feel sexual attraction. 

The main example that stands out in my mind is when Vala propositions Daniel in season 10 and he rebuffs her advances. She says, “Am I really so repulsive?”

I have not personally experienced this, but I’ve seen a lot of ace people online with allo partners describe times when the allo partner feels hurt that the ace person doesn’t sexually desire them, although the ace person has romantic feelings. That scene between Vala and Daniel *really* feels like that kind of situation to me. 

Daniel does seem pretty shocked by that question and just goes, “No!”

I’m sure there are other ace Daniel moments I’m forgetting, but these are the ones that particularly stand out to me!

Today's topic:

A kid's educational magazine "Профессор Крейд" (Professor Craid)!

it was first released in 2005 by publishing house "Максимум" and then taken by "Companion group" in 2011 who were then responsible for it all the way up to 2015

Illustrated by Kuzko Kuzyakin (Real name Kuzmenko Dmytro)

The name "Craid" is actually a pun for the word "kreyda"(крейда) which means chalk in ukrainian.

Here we follow the adventures of Craid,(the one who's journal named after) Menzurka, (his young assistant) Smyk the cat and a mouse Shyla (the one that wikipedia forgot existed)

The contents of each volume were typical for a kid's magazine, crosswords, comic strips, fun facts about history and culture. But believe me when i tell you that at that time it was something truly special, the characters were really charismatic the artstyle is cozy and the whole thing truly felt like it was made with love and care put into it.

And it was not exclusively journal! There was songs, games, and also little stories in which characters interact (i guess LORE? but i'm not sure) and the slogan of the project was "Being smart - is cool!" which oddly warms my heart.

Some of the episodes are archived on wayback machine, so you can pretend to be an 11 year old ukrainian in 2000s reading it at school or at home with some snacks and learning some fun new things about the world

Callen’s little scrunched face and little voice break. :( I mean, the soundtrack music was playing so loud with what I can only describe as the CC0 version of the LAW & ORDER dun-dun sound. I’m surprised the characters couldn’t hear it and knew what was coming. So loud. So Extra.

I’ve commented before that Callen has a closer relationship to Fatima than Rountree, and that it aligns with his past interactions -- always seeming to let the guard down with girls (see how he was softer with Kensi and then got softer with Nell, and has been the softest with Fatima). This interaction was...weird. Seemed strained, and it was really just writers liking their own jokes, I’m guessing. Because Fatima might be more comfortable with Callen, and it’s okay to be more familiar. But...that sounded like someone who was meeting him for the first time and thought that conversation could even have the possibility of taking a positive turn.

Anyway. Now she’s making calls, and yeah, no other agent is in there Fatima. So you are both the Senior and Junior agent in this situation. I’m sorry. But I think this “confidence boost” is justified but manifesting oddly.

What are your hopes for NCIS LA Season 14? Any wishes for the whole team?

Oooh, that's a good question. Let's see:

We'll start with the obvious pair: Kensi and Deeks. For them, I hope we get to see happy family times, now that they have a family. I hope their family now includes Pilar, but we've skipped the logistics of bringing her into the family, as it will be a bit redundant after what we saw with Rosa's. And the moms are a must!

I REALLY hope we can finally find out what the difference is with Deeks being an Investigator, but now it's been so long that it's probably never going to happen. And given that one TVLine teaser, I would REALLLLLLLLLY like some reflection or commentary from Deeks re: his childhood and his awful father. (Or you know, an official Deeks, M wouldn't be awful either, lol)

Honestly, I hope Kessler just dies offscreen like his gf did and we don't have to revisit that plot, but if we do have to resolve it, I hope it's soon and quick and less cringy than the first time around. Kensi better be the one to destroy him though if our team has to face him again, not like the Katya situation where she was killed anti-climatically by Joelle while no one's watching.

Speaking of that: onto Sam and Callen -

Let Callen get his answers on the "Subject" thing, and let him get his happily ever after with Anna, PLEASE! I hope they stop dragging it all out and let us solve some mysteries about the rest of our team! Hetty needs to come back from her whatever and retire for good, and lay out everything she knows to Callen, and again, be DONE with it. Everything on that topic has been dragged on too long. No new Russian baddies, please!

Sam - no big hopes for him, though the ep that has been teased with Aiden sounds interesting, so more things like that could be cool. Sam's dad and his plot amused me, so hopefully, they'll have more fun times needling each other about things.

The Rookies -

They're definitely growing on me more as time goes on, though I feel like they're not written super consistently. I do kinda hope they stay BFFs and don't go the relationship route. But I think it'd be hysterical if they had to pretend to be in a relationship for an op!

Everybody else -

I hope Kilbride stays more of a loving-grump boss and not the "All-I-do-is-grump" boss he sometimes swings to depending on who's writing him. I LOVED Shyla and her interactions with him and the team, so I hope she's back often this season. Hetty, I mentioned above, Anna can hang around a bit, as long as she doesn't bring any more enemies with her, same with Sabatino, he can visit if he's not too antagonistic. Joelle, she can stay far away as far as I'm concerned, I'm rather done with her. Can't wait to see Agent Rand work with the team again, I've always loved her character. Oh, and since his role seemingly gets a little bigger every year, maybe this year Agent Castor will actually be a critical element in a case! He deserves to be more than just the Boatshed Babysitter! lmao!

One last hope - I NEEEEEEEEEED Kolcheeks to be an official, seen on-screen thing!!!!!!!!!!!! Bertie and Arkady 4-eva! lmao (Deeks and Anna as step-siblings, with Callen and Kensi tossed in as in-laws, would just be AH-MAZING!!!!)
