Rainy day in Old Bagan, Myanmar 😊😏😇 The Shwesandaw Pagoda (Burmese: ရွှေဆံတော်ဘုရား,) is a Buddhistpagoda located in Bagan, Burma. The pagoda contains a series of five terraces, topped with a cylindrical stupa, which has a bejewelled umbrella (hti). The pagoda was built by King Anawrahta in 1057, and once contained terra cotta tiles depicting scenes from the Jataka. Shwesandaw pagoda, one of the most popular place to enjoy the Sunrise and Sunset. Personally I prefer, the most enjoyable time is sunrise, you get the most magnificent sunrise with the several hot air balloons above the pagodas and Dhammayangyi (Bagan’s largest temple) in the background. The sunrise was truly magical with the hot air balloons over plain of Bagan in misty morning.
