Evil Eye |
[source]
Origin in hinduism [hoodoo] OR the belief that it dates back almost 3,000 years to ancient Greece and Rome. It is one of the strongest symbolic images in the world.
Wearing an evil eye as an amulet is believed to provide protection against evil forces. The evil eye has symbolism in almost every country/religion. Such as Judaism, islam, hindu, Buddhism and christianity.
The evil eye is thought of as a look given to inflict harm, suffering, or some form of bad luck on those that it is cast upon. It was a look that stated bad intentions and to intend bad things to happen to the person who was the target of such jealousy or pure malice.
Its superstition of the evil eye holds that the malicious look is powerful enough to bring about actual disaster for the unfortunate person.
The earliest known evidence was back in Greece and Rome. Believed that the evil eye was the largest threat to anyone who had been praised too much, or received admiration beyond what they truly deserve.
A person so swollen with pride that they would bring about their own downfall.
It was thought that the gods and goddesses were punishing those who had become too proud of their achievements, and destroyed them with the power of the evil eye to restore them to the level of mere mortals.
In different languages it is known as;
Hebrew Evil Eye- Ayin Ha’ra. Turkish: Nazar Boncugu. Italian: Mal Occhio. Farsi: Bla Band.
Arabic: Ayin Harsha. Scotland: Droch Shuil. Spanish: Mal Ojo or El Oja. France: Mauvais Oeil.
Germany: Boser Blick. Romans: Oculus Malus.
Protection against the evil eye.
The greeks would carry incense or the cross as protection against the evil eye. New mothers would keep objects under their pillow including red, black or white strings, a nail, gunpowder, bread, salt, garlic, a ring, indigo blue, or a pair of silver buckles.
Gunpowder symbolised fighting against the evil eye. The nail was strength, indigo held its power in its blue colouring and salt a symbol of preservation and strength.
[Hoodoo Dellish] Silver naturally protects from all negative energies including the evil eye. Traditionally a silver dime bound on a red cotton thread is used to prevent spiritual attack.
Coal your eyes: Black eyeliner around the eyes to protect the soul. This protects mainly women from jealousy, gossip, and evil eyes.
Wear a charm: The Nazar is a traditional anti-envy charm in islamic culture. Every tradition has its own protective charms. Christians; cross. Hamsa [Judaism] Mercury dimes [Hoodoo] Wear the one you are drawn to block ill will and evil intent.
“The eyes are considered to have mystical powers and serve as the doorway to the soul. The evil eye receiver will then be cursed, harmed, or receive bad luck. However, if you’re wearing the evil eye amulet, this negative energy will be repelled from you and sent back to the giver.”

Evil eye colours
Different evil eye colours have different meanings. THe blue eye is general protection, the red eye is for love protection, the green for healing and fertility, the yellow for happiness and success and black to absorb harmful energy.
Additional colours; Pink; Protect your friendships. Calming feeling, content and relaxation.
Light green- Success with your dreams, enjoyment and contentment, good health.

*Note not to tattoo the evil eye, it is better as a charm. It is used to absorb the evil energy, if that is a tattoo the body would absorb it instead.
Use; Worn or hung in the home, as a talisman to provide protection, and safety. From jealousy, harm and evil, also used to bless and protect those we truly admire, and adore this includes pets, benevolent spirits and humans.
Care: Clean lightly with soft cloth it washing is necessary, do so in tepid water without submersion. Dry with a soft cloth.
Placement on a person. On a pet. In the home.
(Disclaimer: I'm unsure but better safe than sorry- but I think the Evil eye may be part of a closed practice it's just here for educational purposes but I don't think its something I would practice or use as a witch- if other experienced witches want to let me know feel free to message/reblog this post)

@Lady-Merian said she was wanting some Celtic music recommendations, so I decided to inflict share some of the music I’ve liked. First off, see here for a general list of Celtic music recommendations, along with a few specific songs. What follows here is a list of specific songs, with links where feasible. Fair warning that these are an eclectic group and that some may smudge the line between Celtic and other genres (but that’s okay! Those lines tend to smudge anyhow).
First off, though, I really do recommend listening to some Thistle & Shamrock - either some of the programs (if you find a program listing that sounds interesting but there’s no program for you to listen to, try looking for it here) or the streaming radio station - as it’s a great source for finding songs.
My list of songs is below, though. Heads up that a few of these involve murder or attempted murder, if you’re sensitive to that (I can provide specifics, if needed).
Ashley Davis’s Night Travels and With You Tonight (actually, her entire Night Travels album is probably worth a listen).
Nicolette Macleod’s 1919.
Anais Mitchell and Jefferson Hamer’s Tam Lin and Willie’s Lady.
Iona Fyfe’s Sleepytoon & Earl Richard; her The Northern Lights is pretty too.
Kate Rusby and Kathryn Robert’s The Queen and the Soldier, The Constant Lovers, and Exile.
Emily Smith’s Sweet Lover of Mine, May Colven, and King Orfeo.
Solas’s Pastures of Plenty.
Cassie and Maggie’s Strip the Willow Set.
Joe McKenna’s Echo’s Calling.
Cara Dillon’s Here’s a Health.
Cathie Ryan’s So Here’s To You and What’s Closest to the Heart.
Mary Black’s A Song for Ireland, Turning Away, Siul a Ru’n, and St. Kilda Again.
The Singing Kettle’s The Train to Glasgow.
Enter the Haggis’s Down with the Ship.
Karine Polwart’s Follow the Heron (1:18), The Good Years (18:53), Dignity (I just found this one, but I think I like it - it mostly starts at 36:40), and Rivers Run (41:24).
I don’t know I’ve listened to the whole program, but Thistle and Shamrock did an interview with the writer & composer and played through the album These are the Hands. The whole thing is probably worth a listen, but if you want a couple of specific tracks, listen to Built on the Clyde (36:44) and Cutty Sark (51:52).
(I also think Thistle & Shamrock’s The Lost Songs of St. Kilda program is worth a listen; I remember some of the songs being pretty haunting.)
Maire Brennan was the last list, but I would especially recommend Follow the Word, Mary of the Gaels, and Bi Thus a Mo Shuile.
Loreena McKennitt was also on the last list, but a few specific songs, if you’re not familiar: The Lady of Shalott, Between the Shadows, Dante’s Prayer, Standing Stones, and Breaking of the Sword.
Finally, Dougie MacLean was also on the last list (and I listed some specific songs), but a few more to try: Solid Ground, Mary Queen of Scots, and She Loves Me (When I Try).
#Lady-Merian#music#I believe these are all free from swears but my apologies if something has slipped through!#Hope you find *something* of interest in here!#Thank you in advance for indulging my desire to throw a bunch of songs at you#I also know I'm going to remember that I've left off someone that really should be on here as soon as I post this :P

Evil Eye Meaning And The History Of Protection Evil Eye Jewelry
Evil Eye Meaning And The History Of Protection Evil Eye Jewelry

The Evil Eye may have appeared as early as the early Paleolithic. We find this figure in Jewish, Christian and Muslim cultures as well as Buddhist and Hindu societies. Evil Eye Bracelet mal de ojo Nazar Mauvais Oeil or Mattiasma in Greek is a curse believed to be imposed by a malicious glare, usually aimed at the unsuspecting.
Many cultures believe that receiving the Evil Eye necklace will cause misfortune, bad luck or injury. Mal de ojo jewelry and amulets were created to protect against the evil eye ring also known as "the evil eye"
Evil Eye History The symbolism and superstition of the evil eye jewelry is one of the strongest symbolic images in the world. However, while Evil Eye varies across cultures, the meaning of Evil Eye is roughly the same no matter where the story is told.
The Evil Eye pendant is considered an expression to those who have suffered harm, pain or some form of misfortune. It's a seemingly clear sign that people are interested in doing bad things for the object of their focus, whether it's out of embarrassment or outright malice.
The superstition of the Evil Eye Gold Bracelet holds that the appearance of evil is enough to bring true disaster to the unfortunate who desires the glare.
The earliest known evidence that belief in the evil eye charm dates back to ancient Greece and Rome going back through history. The Evil Eye earrings are believed to be the greatest threat to anyone who is overly praised or suffers more than they deserve.

The person being praised is so proud that he or she will bring bad luck through a silver evil eye necklace believed to cause mental and physical ailments. Any disease that has no direct apparent cause is thought to be caused by the evil eye.
It is believed that gods and goddesses are punishing those who take pride in their achievements and destroying them with the evil eye of the hamsa, restoring them to mortal levels.
It is believed that the Evil Eye originated on every continent. The Middle East, Asia, Europe and Central America fear the evil eye. In the 26th book of the Shahi Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad warned of the dangers of the evil eye and said that in order to counteract the influence of evil forces, a bath must be taken.
Like classical Greece and ancient Rome, Islamic culture believed that excessive praise would bring about the evil influence of the evil eye. So instead of praising a lovely child, say "God willing" the child's good fortune, or risk it to the young.
Ashkenazi Jews also believed that excessive praise would lead to weakness in the eye of evil and would repeat the phrase "Keyn aynhoreh!" In Yiddish, it means "no evil eye" to prevent it.
Evil Eyes are known in most languages: in English, Evil Eye, Evil'appearances - Mauvais Oeil in French - Böse Blick in Germany - Arabic, ayin hasad - Armenian Pasternak - Yiddish aynore or from Heber Incoming language ayin hara - Hungarian szemmelverés (eye beat) - Polish oko proroka (the prophet's eye) - Swedish ondaögat - Sicilian jettatura (foundry). Brazilian Portuguese has olho gordo (fat eye) or quebranto (smasher) - mal de ojo (eye or ojo turco - ojito turco) in Spanish - Irish droch-shuil - Greek matiasma or mati sb in someone cursed the evil eye.

What does the evil eye symbolize? You may have seen this famous evil eye symbol several times. You can even wear an evil eye bracelet or necklace and wear it as a talisman. You may have witnessed a person exhibit the "evil eye" appearance (you may have even seen it yourself).
But, do you know the deep and meaningful history of the evil eye symbol, and how popular and common the evil eye is in different cultures?
Regardless of religious background or the religion of the source of the evil eye, the karmic nature always remains the same and should be shared. The rich meaning of the evil eye is what drives people to this sacred symbol.
The Evil Eye symbol mainly promises to keep you safe and sound, which is the most important thing when making your dreams come true. Nothing is more mysterious than Evil Eye, as its rich "experience" in making people around the world feel safe is the most promising fact.
Recently, Meghan Markle was spotted wearing an evil eye necklace and said it was "to ward off negative energies". But she's not the only superstar who believes in the importance of wearing the evil eye.
Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Zayne Malik were spotted wearing his and her matching Evil Eye bracelets, as featured in In Style magazine. They value the design, protection and personalized energy that Evil Eye provides.
What does evil eye jewelry and amulets mean? It is believed that there are three evil eyes: The first is the unconscious evil eye. These unintentionally hurt people and things. The second intent is to hurt. The third is the invisible, the most terrifying evil. It is believed that this eye sees all evil in the world and eliminates poverty and ignorance.
When Holus opened his eyes, the world suddenly opened up. When he closed it, it was dark. From Egypt, eye talismans have spread to the Mediterranean, Middle East and Europe.
When anyone sees good things with jealousy, he fills the atmosphere around him with a destructive quality and sends his exhale to wherever he is nearest. The beads reflect malicious energy back to onlookers. It is somewhat similar to the eye, and the typical blue color is said to be a factor in protecting the user.
Glass beads in the Aegean Islands and Asia Minor directly depend on improvements in glass production. As for the blue color, it is the first glaze slip in Egypt to contain a high proportion of oxides; copper and cobalt appear blue when baked.
Blue Eye can also be found in some forms of the Hamsa Hand Evil Eye bracelet and necklace set, a reverse hand amulet that reverses Evil Eyes in the Middle East.
The word Hamsa is also spelled khamsa and hamesh, meaning five fingers. In Jewish culture, this Hamsa is called the Hand of Miriam; in Muslim culture, the Hand of Fatima. Fatima Amulet is known as Kamsa in the Muslim world. It begins in Arabic and is considered protection from the evil eye.

The Blue Evil Eye circulated widely in the region and was used by the Phoenicians, Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, and perhaps most famously, the Ottoman Empire. While their use was most concentrated in the Mediterranean and Levant, through trade and imperial expansion, blue eyes began to move to all corners of the globe.
The Evil Eye symbol is almost always realized as an Evil Eye charm, as its symbolism has always been embodied in various accessories worn around the wrist or neck (when it comes to jewelry).
The essence of all the important things in life is embodied in the meaning of the evil eye. Protection and safety come first before success emerges. The true colors of life will only be revealed when our minds and souls become fearless, and this only happens when we are properly protected and share in our luck and protection.
The right way to gain the power and possibility of the Evil Eye is to believe and believe in its power and let its protection guide your life journey.
Combine your Evil Eye bracelets and necklaces with crystals like Hematite, Tiger Eye, Citrine, Red String Protection and more to create true art...
Alternatively, you can combine it with a spell like the Hamsa Hand Charm, which has a similar meaning to the Evil Eye. When Hamsa and Evil Eye combine, no curses, negative thoughts or malice will prevent you from achieving your goals and gaining some value.

Evil Eye Bracelet The beauty of Evil Eye bracelets is that they come with many beautiful and powerful gems, each of which magnifies your intent.
Luxa brings spirituality into stylish bracelets to suit every taste. Whether you are a sterling silver lover or a solid gold lover, we have it for you. Every bead is hand-designed, every inch counts, and now when you buy a bracelet that resonates with your soul's purpose, you've called out your intent and purpose.
Nothing beats the amazing feeling of love that comes with a rose quartz bracelet, amethyst for health, hematite for grounding or citrine for the sun, then create double protection with our red cord protection bracelet, Has a powerful charm and symbol. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of faith.
How to protect yourself from it?
In addition to using the evil eye amulet, consider that the Greeks also carried incense or crosses to protect against the evil eye. New mothers will keep items under their pillow or under their heads, including red, black or white threads, nails, gunpowder, bread, salt, garlic, rings, indigo or a pair of silver buttons.
Each of these items has a meaning, making it a great way to ward off the evil eye. For example, gunpowder symbolizes the ability to fight the evil eye. Nails symbolize strength. Indigo is very important for its blue tinting strength. Salt is a symbol of preservation and power.
In jewelry, the Evil Eye can be worn as a bracelet or necklace. In fact, this powerful symbol is always realized in the form of the Evil Eye Amulet, because when the symbol materializes, its power is completely dispersed.
As part of most cultures around the world, the evil eye has long been thought to have a realigning effect on negative perceptions. The numerous designs of this ancient symbol always pair perfectly with most crystals, offering a range of options for every evil eye seeker.
evil eye protection remedies But if these precautions fail, the Greeks have more ways to deal with the evil eye. In some villages, the bear's fur is burned to cure the curse. Among them, gypsies massage their foreheads to remove the adverse effects of the evil eye.
In many countries, including Greece, Armenia and Assyria, the oath behind it is believed to be addressing the curse of the evil eye. In Europe, some Christian traditions use both hands to create a sign of a cross, while pointing the index and little fingers to the source of the evil eye. In Bangladesh, a black spot is painted on a child's forehead to resist the curse of the evil eye. Young beautiful woman hides a secret spot behind her ear to prevent evil eyes
Evil eye protection is almost a sacred thing as it is never fully understood or described by members of art movements, religions etc...
Since the beginning of known civilization, the Evil Eye has bestowed the ultimate protection and care on those who wear this ancient charm, similar to the loveliest feeling we get from our dearest.

Evil Eye and Hamsa: What did they do? "What is the Evil Eye?" - one might ask. A common answer is that it's mostly related to the benefits of Hamsa, an equally powerful charm with the same core benefits of the evil eye.
The Evil Eye Protection consists of a shield of the same name that protects you from the so-called Evil Eye. Evil eyes can represent many things - mostly negative thoughts from people who are jealous of you or bad people who don't deserve to be in your presence at all. Keep this combination in mind when considering directions when purchasing a product.
Phrases and rituals aren't the only way to ward off evil forces. In many cultures, the most popular way to escape the Demon Eye effect is to use the Evil Eye Amulet, Evil Eye Symbol, or Evil Eye Ornament. These are designed to "reflect" the power of evil appearances.
The Evil Eye amulet originated in Greece, where it was called a "safe haven" amulet, meaning it reflected damage. The most basic design of the evil eye popular in the Middle East is the amulet, designed with concentric blue and white circles, symbolizing the evil eye, known as a nazar. It is usually used on houses, vehicles or jewelry.
Evil Eye: One of the most powerful evil eye amulets in the Middle East and Africa is the Hamsa, also known as the "Hand of Fatima". Hamsa is the hand symbol with the evil eye on the palm.
Hamsa can be used in wallpaper or jewelry to prevent evil eyes. Hamsa also appears in Jewish culture and is known as "Hand of God" or "Hand of Miriam". The popularity of Kabbalah re-energizes and considers Hamsa and how it affects its presence in jewelry and design.
• Regardless of the style, Evil Eye bracelets and necklaces, the basic design uses one eye on a blue background. • Jewelry and gems often adorn this eye to show the power of the gazer. Each culture adds its colour in perfect detail according to local legends and beliefs. • Red is lucky in some Jewish cultures, while blue is sacred in the Middle East because of its association with precious water. • Evil Eye Men's Jewelry is generally only used in necklace styles. When a person casts the evil eye, the pendant will reflect quickly, which is of great benefit to you. • However, this age-old concern has found its way into other jewelry designs. Find the true evil eye on rings, bracelets. There can be many different styles on bracelets, especially if you are a collector. •Diamond Evil Eye jewelry is a particularly precious gemstone that reflects light on the facets, often visible in bright conditions.

About Evil Eye Jewelry Evil Eyes still has a powerful influence on modern life, pop culture, and even jewelry and design. Who isn't familiar with the term "evil eye" or think of those who project their way at least once or twice and shape their beliefs around the energy?
In Turkey, the evil eye is deeply rooted in everyday life and has a deep symbolic meaning throughout the culture. The evil eye clings to anything thought to cause greed, jealousy, or malice. In Turkey, you'll find Evil Eye money, home and office symbols on the necks of newborns and farm animals, as well as on buildings.
The evil eye is a very popular jewelry design right now. In recent years, many celebrities, including Madonna, Britney Spears, the Olsen twins, Mick Jagger and Nicole Richie (to name a few) have been photographed wearing red kabbalah bracelets.

Think of it as another way to prevent evil and lighten the load on their shoulders. This Evil Eye amulet has been publicly worn by celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Kelly Ripara, Brad Pitt, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Lauren Conrad and Lianna. This iconic and stylish image is growing in popularity.
Interestingly, the myth of the evil eye seems to have significance in our present world and adds a lot of value. Too much fame, wealth, success or admiration can cause people to fail, especially in celebrity culture, which can reinforce the notion of evil.
Ms. Lohan, mentioned above, and more recently Charlie Sheen, are examples of how the power of success can turn into disaster. Does this mean that if Lindsay had worn the evil eye sooner, she would have been better off?
Millions of believers will probably tell you that. In any case, those who are often in the spotlight, such as celebrities, or those who are successful or have reason to be proud, should bring them with them to protect the Evil Eye Amulet or Evil Eye Amulet - just to be safe!
Once you notice the benefits of the evil eye, the power of evil will not be able to stop your pursuit of happiness. Symptoms associated with the Evil Eye effect quickly become unknown, as evil forces become futile no matter how hard they try.
More importantly, while your mind will become clear, the evil negativity will become meaningless. The protection of the Evil Eye is unique in this often difficult and comprehensive world. A helping hand and the wind behind you always help!
The charm (or evil eyeball) of Nazar Boncuk is the "eye" usually set on a blue background. It stares into the world to avoid evil eyes and protect you from harm. Since then, people have attached this evil eye to all the evil eyes they want to protect. From newborn babies to their horses and even to their home.
What does the color mean? In Turkey or Greece and surrounding countries, the most popular magic eye amulet is blue. Turkey is located in the arid region of the world, and water is precious - as it flourishes and grows, without it, all things wither and die.
Blue is reminiscent of fresh, cool water. In Jewish beliefs, red is often associated with luck and luck, so red is also a popular color.

One is high-octane, very old school wuxia with strong female characters whose martial arts are as amazing as their male counterparts, and none is damsel in distress. (I love, LOVEEEE the fighting choreography and weapons written for the characters).
The other is a period mystery/detective procedural, with equally awesome female characters: one has a scientist brain to support her work as a coroner, the other is a triple-threat: martial artists/doctor/gorgeous noble lady.
While I greatly enjoy both for different reasons, the productions' respective decision to display sismance in multiple-interpretative way got me amused and entertained.
Wudang Sword
Ximen Yan kidnaps Lan Shuiling and brings her to Kunlun Mountain supposedly to be out of jealousy. She's taking her hostage to force her cousin/childhood sweetheart Dongfang Liang to go back there, as Dongfang Liang is crazy about Lan Shuiling.
But somehow during their journey to Kunlun, not only they start bonding, they almost flirt with each other :))))
I mean, if people think Ximen Yan is jealous towards her cousin because she's attracted to Shuiling herself, can you blame them? LOL.
Her company makes her happy and better tempered :D
Imperial Coroner
Chu Chu is stunned by Leng Yue's beauty, which is in accordance with her standard: perfect jawline, lean neck, broad shoulder, small waist, and strong legs. She doesn't hesitate to tell it to Leng Yue :D
... and go as far as she'd marry her! (... if she were a man)
They're on their way to a remote location, and their entourage is attacked, Chu Chu is one of the target. Leng Yue is wounded trying to protect her.
And Chu Chu, relieved that the pretty Leng Yue's wound isn't too deep, trying to comfort her...
... to the point that she offers Leng Yue her lap :)))

Coming up!
This is a scrapped plot from “Darkrai’s Wish”! Originally Arceus was going to turn Eclipse into a humanoid Mimikyu! you can find pictures on my blog of when I came up with it! I scrapped this to go with a “celebi hattie” plot instead
the song she’s singing is https://songsinirish.com/dun-do-shuil-lyrics/ ! She sings this in the actual fic as well!
“Dún do shúil, a rún mo chroí; A chuid den tsaol, 's a ghrá liom; Dún do shúil, a rún mo chroí; Agus gheobhair feirín amárach---” the melancholic voice sang out into the old church building. The lyrics were familiar but the tone lacked all the warmth he remembered. He swung his flashlight around.
“E-eclipse?” he called out. The singing stopped. There was the sound of a giggle. He saw a flash of faded yellow drop from the rafters before moving further into the building. He gulped, “Moony come on!”
“Right!” the jirachi huffed flying alongside him as he ran.
“Eclipse! I’m here to take you home!” He called after the shadowy figure. It turned to look at him, glowing blue eyes and mouth a smirk. He froze as a shiver ran through him as it laughed and ran into the back.
“Ru?” Moonjumper paused and clung to his shoulder, “That was Eclipse right? W-what’s wrong with her? S-she looked scary…” he whimpered.
He moved to cradle the whimpering jirachi with a scowl, “I bet it’s that damn Arceus’s doing… He said… she’d forget… I think he meant she’d forget humanity… but what was she??” he took a deep breath and began to walk forward at a slower pace. Looking to make sure no ghost types would jump out.
In the distance, he heard it again, softly, sad.
“Dún do shúil, a rún mo chroí; A chuid den tsaol, 's a ghrá liom; Dún do shúil, a rún mo chroí; Agus gheobhair feirín amárach---”
He headed towards it quietly. It stopped. And repeated. It was only the one chorus she sang over and over. He pushed the door open. In the center of the room the hooded figure swayed back and forth, back to him. The faded patchwork pikachu hoodie fell to reveal the dark mass that was under it. The floor began to eat him as the mimikyu laughed.
He grit his teeth and stepped forward. Sinking into her shadows he kept pushing forward. She backed up, smile fading as he got nearer.
“M-Mimic--” She stammered afraid as he approached. She tried to back up but he reached out and pulled her to his chest.
“Found you…” he held her tightly.
She tried to pull away, “K-Kyu!! Kyu!!” She cried as she pulled. She gripped his shirt confused.
“E-Eclipse it’s us!” Moonjumper reached out with his tiny hands to hold her face. Her blue eyes wide as tears began to bubble from the shadows that made her body up.
Arulius sighed and shifted, gently kissing her eyes. He felt her sniffle and shift against him.
“A-Arulius?” her voice was soft, “Kyuu…”
“Yes. Arulius.” he smiled softly and brushed the fluffy part of the inky mass she was made of, “I’m arulius. I came to take you home…”
She frowned and gripped his shirt, talons softening as she held on, “No go… no leave…” She winced as he held her face gently in his hands.
“You can leave because I’m taking you. That’s the deal.” he kissed her forehead, noticing her temperature getting warmer. He took her hand in his, “Come on. Eclipse.”
She frowned a bit, but he could start to see the shape of her eyes shifting as she scowled. He began to walk back towards the exit with her behind him.
He couldn’t hear her footsteps at first. But soon he could. The gentle noise of her feet on the old wood. Her gentle breathing as she tried to keep pace. Her hand shifting to fit better in his. He pushed the church door open and felt her resist but gave a gentle tug and pulled her through.
She rammed into him with a gasp. Her arms coming into view as she ran into him.
He turned to look at her, the inky color having faded from her, her bright blue eyes staring up at him in confusion.
“There you are.” he chuckled. She frowned.
“Kyuu…” she puffed her cheek out.
“I guess we may have to rework your speech…”
“Y-You t-took y-your t-t-t-time.” She stammered out as she pouted.
“Or not.” he laughed and cradled her face in his hands, “Sorry. He didn’t exactly make it easy.”
“We had to fight a whole league!” Moonjumper bounced around, “Ru’s a champion Clips!! For you!!”
She stared in shock, “Y-You? A-A-A t-trainer?” she giggled, “R-really n-now.” her speech seemed to improve as she spoke.
“Mmhm. It was one of his stipulations. Prove I was human enough.” he sighed, “and then there was that cresselia. Man, was she mad.”
“And now she lives in a box!” Moonjumper grinned.
“C-Cresselia?!” she gasped, “S-Shouldn’t that be y-your partner?”
“She thought so but.” he looked at the woman who stood in a simple tattered gown and a worn pikachu hooded cape, “I prefer to be your partner.”
She turned a red tone, “O-oh…” she frowned, “B-But I thought y-you wanted t-to go back to being a darkrai…”
“Mmhm. I gave up on that. Granted. You made an adorable mimikyu.” he sighed, “the disguise pokemon. Of all pokemon he could have made you.”
She frowned and gripped his shirt, “L-Look at me.”
He looked at her confused.
“Lean down a-a-a bit.” she huffed.
He listened and jolted when she kissed him square on the mouth. He relaxed and shifted his arms around her holding her close. He broke away with a small laugh. He grinned and kissed her back. She held his shirt tightly as he parted again panting. Both were a red color as they stared into one another’s eyes.
“Kyuu.” she mumbled with a laugh.
“I can get used that verbal tick.”
“D-Don’t!” She snickered, “I-I’m n-not a pokemon!”
“But you were scary cute. Imagine if I had been a darkrai again.” he laughed and picked her up making her gasp as he spun around.

Ayano’s Theory Of Happiness (Jin/Shinzen no teki-P) - Aistriú as Gaeilge (Version 1)
Bhí cuimhní ag dul trí mo cheann
Cheap mé an t-aon mo theaghlach
“Ayano is ea bhur ndeirfiúr níos sine,
Réitígí leí le de thoil.”
I teach beag le ballí brící dearg
Bhí siad ag cogarnach le chéile, ag déanamh pleananna
D’fhéach mé ina súile, bhí siad dearg ach chonaic mé
D’fholaigh cuimhní ó amhrac aosach
Bhí cuma eagla air “Níl ann ach arracht mé!”
Dúirt mé leo ag an am “Ní fíor é, féach anseo!
Caitheann fíorlaoch an dearg sin, dáiríre,
Ní eaglach oraibh uaibh a thuilleadh”
Cheap mé rúd éigin spraoi nó rúd amaideach
Is deirfiúr níos sine mé, thriail mé go trom
“Féach anall anseo!” Scaif dearg, chuir mé é thart orm féin
“Briogáid rúnda, b’fhéidir”
Dathaigh é i rósanna, tosóimid,
Cé go n-imrímid loachra, ní chiallaíonn sé gan rud!
“B’fhéidir Is féidir linn meangadh ar ár n-aghaidh, arís.”
Beidh teaghlach go maith again.
Tá súil agam go raibh siad sásta agus ag gaire,
Mura bhainfidís é, ní rithfidís.
“Coimeád an rún seo daoibh.” Agus bhí an ghrain ag dul faoi arís.
Nuair a bhí teacht an earraigh, d’athraigh domhain aosach freisin.
Ní fhaca mé na fadhbanna, ag déanamh pleananna
Bhí na deora ag tréigean, lig mo dhuine muinteartha ag caoineadh
Níor thug aon duine faoi deara ach chuir dath dubh ar gach rud
Bhí rudaí ag éirí olc, ach ba fhios agam
Nár ndearfáinn le aon duine faoi é
“Oh dhia, ná scriostar cad a fuair mé”
I domhain nua, cá fuair ár sonas bás
“An dath dearg, impím ort, ná deanann níos mó
Cén fáth a briseann tú saolta, mar sin níl amarach againn?”
Titeann na deora agam, tá an freagra soiléir
I bhfolach taobh thiar den meangadh
“Má bhí dath dearg do mo shuile, bheinn mise feín a laoch - bheidh mé a saol a shábháil”
Is duine ciotach mé agus tá náire orm
Ach téim go dtí an misean i m’aonar
Anois táim imithe, agus ag deanamh iontais cad a déanann siad
Tá súil agam go bhfuil siad go maith – réitíonn siad le chéile
Is fuath leo mé, is dócha nó tá gorta orthu
Ceapaim, An bhfuil mé a ndeirfiúr anois?
An gcuimneoidh tú ar an fhocal a raibh grá mór agam?
An sonas sin, tá sé an-aisteach agus
Le breacadh an lae, tá súil ag’(am) go mbeidh tú fosta
