If you don't have them already, I highly recommend all the games of Higurashi so far. (I'm waiting until the Umineko fighting game comes out before I buy anything, though.) They went and fixed the translations! I've heard Amnesia is pretty good! But you are gonna love Steins;Gate. I have it on the Vita and it's so wonderful!

Hopefully we get a date soon for the Steam release of Umineko Chiru so you can experience the whole story~! (Because a lot of the stuff in the fighting game doesn't make sense unless you play all of Chiru, but it's a fun game and I recommend it when it comes out.)

i own all of the question arcs and was gonna wait for kai to be totally released before buying it (please explain to me why the steam page for meakashi-hen doesn’t both explaining that it’s the first game of the answer arc). i own amnesia but first person games where you dont constantly have something in your hands make me ill >_> (i guess my brain uses the gun or sword or whatever im holding as a point of reference??) ive heard great things about steins;gate tho!! its 40% off right now so im gonna hold off until later in the sale but We’ll See

of those you have listed: FFIX is one of my favorite games ever (if not THE game); VI is considered by many to best the best FF, and it is in fact very very good; Automata is nothing short of AMAZING, Berseria is pretty good as well and I liked I am Setsuna bc it's basically Chrono Trigger's spiritual successor (w/ FFX story) but it's got some flaws. You don't have it listed so idk if you played it already but We Know The Devil is a short, cheap and very gay VN, loved it

my only hangups on automata berseria and i am setsuna right now are that they’re all still Quite Expensive even on sale (i am setsuna is the cheapest and its still $24) so i might hold off on them until they’re cheaper. i hadn’t heard of we know the devil but its $4 and a gay VN so im buying it right now

🔥🔥🔥 Fandom of your choice, and whatever you wanna roast.

Honestly, fuck the undertale fandom, specifically the majority that love sans (this is kinda long so more under the cut)

I have never seen a fandom go down the drain quickly. Not even the steven universe fandom, which is probably the worst fandom I have ever seen, didn’t go to shit and go crazy so quickly. Undertale wasn’t even out for six months and I was sick of seeing sans undertale and every person on youtube and tumblr endlessly jerk off Toby Fox for a game that isn’t exactly revolutionary.

Now I will give it credit, that it did some things right. The characters were charming (not too deep or complex but likeable enough), the soundtrack is fantastic, as I didn’t expect less from Toby, and I really enjoyed the battle system. The choice-based gameplay was cool too, but that also has a downside. Yes, it broke traditional norms of rpgs, but in doing so it was essentially its own edgy lost episode creepypasta written by a 12 y/o on deviantART.

Going into more about that skeleton fuck, shut up about him. It’s not that deep. Sans isn’t some extremely complex character. It’s a pixel skeleton who makes jokes and becomes edgy in the genocide route. The theory videos were so cringey. Every day it was a new theory how this one pixel in a super secret room meant sans was the clone of Adam Sandler and every pun could be more over-analyzed than a high school english reading to show his so much mental pain. 

And the thousands of AU’s were even worse, partially bc this fandom made the same mistake as the onceler fandom: shipping a character with different forms of himself. What the fuck?? Why?? stop shipping furry chipotle sans with interdimensional cyborg ninja sans. i gotta kinkshame for this

Name: Yumi “Mary” Hirasaka Age & Date of birth: 17; Born October 1st; is a Libra Species:Human. Gender: Female Orientation: Generally probably aromantic, but in the sidestory where nobody dies, she can end up with the main character who’s a girl. Fandom/Original: She’s a Danganronpa OC.

Warning: Yumi’s history includes bullying, general manipulation, and causing people’s deaths.

Biography: Yumi got into Hope’s Peak due to running a very successful blog about urban legends, and is known as the SHSL/Ultimate Urban Legend Blogger. Her online handle, Mary, is based off the Urban Legend called “Mary-san”. She insists on only the most accurate information about urban legends on her blog, and her blog has won awards. Sometime before the murder games, Yumi went to school with Himawari Kuroshiro (the other OC I’ve submitted here) and their classmates. While she generally tried to ignore everybody, she grew close to Himawari enough that Himawari, who had made friends with their whole class, was able to give her the information Yumi needed to manipulate everybody into a mutual killing. Her “secret” that she had during the mutual killing so as to not draw suspicion to herself was the fact that there was another popular urban legend blogger who was more credible than Yumi, so Yumi manipulated her fans into bullying that blogger off the internet, and none of her fans knew the wiser since they believed she was truly innocent (the other person was alive, though, but it’s the matter of the fact that Yumi did that). She often aids Himawari during the game with her knowledge of murder mysteries, and during the trial where she’s exposed as the mastermind, Yumi focuses her attention on Himawari until Himawari finally snaps and decides to fight against Yumi. Growing up, she was made fun of for not growing much-chest and height-wise like her peers. She’s a big fan of Knox’s Decalogue for mystery, and makes sure her murder game follows the Decalogue, and loves gore and blood.

Appearance: Yumi’s into very frilly but Gothic clothes, and is pretty pale since she doesn’t like going outside. She also wears the regular school uniforms but with her hair accessories seen above along with her choker. She’s also hilariously flat-chested, and scowls most of the time.

Personality: Yumi is, to put it frankly, two-faced, kind of like a Regina George kind of girl. She will be sweet to someone’s face but turn around and stab them in the back with no regrets. She’s very manipulative, and incredibly narcissistic. She’s nihilistic in the edgy sort of way. She’s a fan of logical thinking, hates children, and really enjoys upsetting people to the point that she’s often an anonymous online troll. She takes pleasure in causing discord, and in contrast to Himawari, Yumi hates sweets, but loves spicy food. Due to being bullied for her height and chest size, Yumi has a personal hatred for those with large chests and tall people. Yumi will often tell scary stories, and if she sees a cat, she’ll spend time with it.

Favourite & Least Favourite things: Yumi’s favorite food is ghost pepper chicken, she loves the Tokyo Serial Murders tale, loves cats, loves listening to any type of metal music and classical music, her favorite flower is the red spider lily, and she loves the color red. Her least favorite food is konpeito, she hates any story that’s pointlessly happy, doesn’t like squirrels, she hates happy pop music, hates daffodils, and hates the color green.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Yumi is very clever but self-absorbed, extremely two-faced but tenacious, is pretty helpful during trials despite being the mastermind, is fairly anti-social offline but charismatic online, and plays her role as mastermind properly.

Additional notes: One thing that might not get noticed is that Yumi’s name is an all-around pun. In the legend Mary-san, the girl who has the Mary doll is named Yumi. However, the thing that should tick people off as her being the mastermind is that her last name comes from Yomitsu Hirasaka, aka the land of the dead where the goddess Izanami is trapped in. Art of her is completely welcome!

Name: Himawari Kuroshiro (her name translates to Sunflower, Black-white); called Hima-chan, I call her Sunflower-chan and Sunny-chan (since her first name means sunflower.) Age & Date of birth: Himawari is 17, born April 27th. Her Western Zodiac sign would be Taurus. No specific Chinese Zodiac sign since it takes place in a nondescript year. Species:She’s a human, as is everybody else in my thing. Gender: She identifies as female. Orientation: To be honest, I have no idea. While she has the potential to end up with anybody, I don’t really have a defined sexuality for the majority of the characters (except about two or three of them). Fandom/Original: Himawari is in a Dangan-based story I plan to write (but originally started off in a Dangan roleplay)

Biography: Himawari is the story’s protagonist as well as the luck student. She was fairly ordinary before she won the lottery to attend Hope’s Peak. Most of her life, she’s felt fairly lonely, and has kept a few friends on the fringe so when they inevitably stop being friends, she doesn’t mourn the loss of that relationship. Her parents had many miscarriages when she was growing up, and she blames the miscarriages on herself. Spoilers, since she’s protagonist, she lives.

Appearance:What might not come across in the picture is that she has a freckle right under her left eye. She likes dressing in cute dresses.

Personality: Himawari is the kind of person who preaches positive thinking, but keeps her problems to herself and cries when she’s by herself. She cherishes the idea of having friends and is interested in a wide range of things. She prefers to be a listener to people’s problems and hates the idea of bothering people with her problems. However fake her optimism may be at times, she has a tendency to help people get through tough situations (like class trials and murders), and her optimism can be infectious (except to the villain, but Himawari is the only one the villain tolerates). Her mask of strength eventually breaks during a later trial when they have to execute someone, forcing her to learn to trust in her friends.

Favourite & Least Favourite things: Her favorite food is sakuramochi, she loves sunflower clips (anything sunflowers, really), collects dice, and also likes sweet rice cakes. She likes reading manga and her favorite is White Star Child by Rintaro Nishikino (a person who is in her class, just her luck). Himawari also likes reading mysteries. She likes listening to Western music, and her favorite colors are green, blue, and yellow. She likes to bake cupcakes. Her least favorite food is spicy curry, she doesn’t like violent shows, movies, or video games (and has a preference for games like Mario Party). She’s not a fan of music with heavy bass to it. She dislikes the color gray.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Himawari’s strength is that she is a big listener, and people trust her easily because of that. However, she’s kind to the point that until she grows a backbone, she is a pushover (and it’s through her that the villain knows everybody’s secrets). Her desire to have friends makes her more trusting and vulnerable to people taking advantage of her. She’s fairly smart but doubts herself a lot (and it doesn’t help that a lot of her classmates look down on her). When her optimism turns into actual optimism, it becomes a great strength for her.

Additional notes: I kinda recommend the old blog I had for the RP, ultimateluckysunflower, as the character profiles on there were meant to be written in Himawari’s POV. I would be honored if people drew fanart or did anything of my Sunflower-chan! She deserves the world and not the hell I put her through. I love her so much and feel bad for putting her into hell.
