5. How many wips do you have? What fandom/pairings are they for?

Ooga booga…5???? 4 of them are tales of the abyss and one of them is tf2. That doesn’t include the finished abyss fic I have as a side story to scion that I’m waiting to post LOL

12. Do you outline your fics? If yes, how detailed are your outlines? How far do you stray from them?

I am SOOOO bad at outlines LOL though I did do an outline for progeny and I have my outline for containment policy since I knew those were gonna be longer term projects…but other long fics I’ve done I haven’t necessarily outlined. If I have certain big ideas I might jot them down but otherwise I’m kind of free balling

23. Is writing the beginning, middle, or end of the story easiest? Hardest?

Beginnings my best friends vs endings my enemies…though I will say it has gotten a little harder to begin things! Once I’m in the flow I have a good time but I have a few things in mind that I’m not quite sure how to start

6 - what's something you have in common with this character?

ok so. this took me a minute bc as much as i love law he is a lot less of a "he just like me fr" kind of character and a lot more of a "babygirl what is Wrong with you (affectionate)" sort of character AND THEN I REMEMBERED. LAW IS A NERD. SO. in THAT aspect he is indeed just like me fr

12 - what's a headcanon you have about this character?

so yall may have seen in my art that i am a fan of law designs that keep some amount of physical effects from his amber lead syndrome (specifically the white/bleached sections of his skin) but im also a chronic pain law believer as a) another lasting effect from amber lead and b) This Guy Cannot Be Fine With How Much He Has Been Harmed And Nearly Killed. and like yes yes ope ope no mi and all but like. i refuse to believe he's fixed all his problems flawlessly. pointing. this guy hurts 👍

18 - how about a relationship they have with another character in canon that you admire?

so the obvious answer here is cora because law and cora's dynamic makes me insane (cora cared so much...law knew he was a marine but cared for him either way.......cora was not a good person but tried so so hard to be for law's benefit which ended up hurting law.............im ill.) BUT. outside of those two. i really loved seeing him interact with luffy and kid in sabaody, there was an aspect of like...laid-back competition that we dont see post timeskip (for good reason! but still) and as much as ive enjoyed the sheer exasperated, exhausted friend energy from him with luffy, i am really excited to see the trio completed when i get to wano (i would assume. unless something really really bad happens and kid doesnt meet up with law and luffy at any point)

What’s your favorite emotion to write? oooough probably like...banter? which isn't an emotion but in that wheelhouse of both annoyance/exasperation and fondness. i think it's fun when characters argue lightheartedly with each other! and also when they argue not so lightheartedly 8. Narrative or dialogue?  DIALOGUE ALL DA WAY....i love conversations they're so fun and they come so much more naturally to me and they are SUCH amazing ways to get to the real meat of a character--not in what they say but in how they say it 15. What is your favorite detail to include while writing? this one is hard...on an abstract level i like writing bits and pieces of info that have a solid character purpose behind them but from a character that is not the pov character (two other people sharing a knowing look that pov does NOT get, character trying very hard to dance around a subject). on a more concrete level i love describing inner emotions!! i like the challenge bc i find myself bored with them so often that i'm like okay how do i write this in a way that is not cliche and overdone to ME

3. How often do they show their genuine emotions to others versus just the audience knowing?

eri is definitely someone who doesn't hide their emotions well but doesn't want to talk about it...she'll be pouting and frowning but when you ask her what's wrong she'll say she's fine </3 eventually she'd complain about whatever's bothering her but she needs her time to stew first

12. What’s something that makes them laugh every single time? Be specific!

any time usopp flubs a joke. KILLS HER. absolutely 80 million times funnier than any joke he pulls off. and he hates it. he's like okay man i get it i said the punchline wrong. she'll be dying on the floor howling with laughter

25. What subject / topic do they know a lot about that’s completely useless to the direct plot?

hmmm this was hard for me to think about...maybe something like. candy making? weaving? paint making? definitely something surrounding the act of creation. i think she'd love learning about how things are made

3. What’s your favorite emotion to write?

ok so like how insane do i sound if i say just like. emotional breakdowns. panic. because theres something so cathartic to me about writing just...stream of consciousness runons about someone absolutely Losing It that i cannot get elsewhere. but OTHER than that probably like...distant fondness or affection? like when you look at someone and you just feel yourself melt a little because you like them so much. thats a lot of fun

4. What kind of endings do you prefer?

i like writing endings that leave some amount of room for elaboration or interpretation (mostly in case i want to revisit a fic or story and write more related to it tbh) but typically im a sucker for a happy ending, or relatively happy. as much as i enjoy putting my guys through the ringer i usually like to let them out of it at the end with a mostly positive situation lol

10. Show a piece from your current WIP/most recent story, up to 30 words.

i havent written any fic in quite a while (something i tbh DESPERATELY wanna get back to, the ideas just aint flowing) but ive been working on a LOT of personal writing!!!

the story im writing right now is told from the perspective of a sword, and the swords got shit goin on that i wont explain rn (if any of yall wanna hear it just lmk ive got all the details in me brain) but here's a bit i wrote today:

She was bright as a star, the most of my home I had ever seen. After all, the void does not have eyes until it is torn from itself.

‘gotham 2014 isn’t good blah blah blah’ at least gotham took the hog wild crazy ass characters with evil superpowers and incorporated them into the plot and made gotham as a city an actual cesspool that no one would ever voluntarily step into unless they were born there. the whole point is bruce wayne doesn’t have any enhanced abilities but everyone else does
