6. What's something you have in common with this character?

genuine fascination with death, if my dream to work in the arts never works out, my plan B is mortician, life is ever fleeting and we are all simply millions of people together on a round ball that is simply a tiny piece of a huge solar system so I say we all just hold hands and frolic through flowers together

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

For Shrignold, I really love when people characterize them as some messed up Disney princess, I’d definitely associate my own version with Pearl from the 2022 horror movie of the same name and since this is also relevant I associate Coffin with Maxine from X/Maxxxine (if you guys are willing to listen to my post about Coffin and Shrignold dynamic omg)

And for Sketchbook, I honestly love a lot of the human designs that have their body made of oil/ink, I think it’s such a cool visual, people also do this with Lamp and it’s just as cool there…

I like to think that Wally probably got the bapping thing from Barnaby just- putting his whole paw over Wally’s face on occasion (sometimes just cause he can) but now Wally has also taken up this mannerism and does it as a sign of ‘oh hey! you’re there, I see your face!’ as well as whenever he has the opportunity to do so (not often because of how tall Barnaby is but he finds his ways))

DHMIS AU: Please Hug Me I'm Swapped

So this all started when I showed a pic of clocks, specifically one with a heart shaped which made me sketch Tony who is heart shaped. Then we expanded a whole au with my friend here @raindrop-righteous I give huge thanks for the ideas!

This is Part 1 I haven't design others like Shrignold and Colin. Have these designs for the time being.

I'm gonna start with Sketchbook who is now a Dream Diary that learns the dreams, nightmares or secrets of people. Their still our passive aggressive beloved just sleepier and likes oil...or ink. We name them as Diary or Dream Paige.

The lamp, who I mostly know the fandom named Larry so I'm calling him that. He's a lightbulb which was pointed out by Raindrop of one often appearing when a idea/plan came up. Their energetic now so their much feral as original Larry XD.

In his lesson it would be about going too far with your ideas which makes things messy perpetuating the trio to do the wild stuff in the og series.

Then there's Tony or Shrigony, who I swapped with Shrignold who is a cult leader. Turning him into a heart shaped clock with a top hat, but he floats now cause its much fun.

He shows himself as this pretty joyful gentlemen who wants you to join in his "Wonderland" to live in harmunee and praising the equivalent of Malcolm or their Queen, Filomena. But I have so much twisted ideas of Tony being a cultist, hes more messed up.

Oh and Steve the Keyman, who were calling Steven. He's still a sly guy just nicer in ways like he legit wants you to be SAFE.

Red guy: Run boy Run by Woodkid (it kinda fits because he wants to run away from the house.)

Yellow guy: You're a useless child by Kikou (Look, I didn't want it to be his theme but I found it in a yellow guy inspired playlist and it fits.)

Duck: His shedder song (That's the only song for him.)

Ti: Isabella's lullaby from the promised Neverland (SOBS)

Simon: His creator has yet to respond to my text message about his theme so until the menace replies to me I'm headcanoning his theme to be Problems by mother mother because his creator likes that band (this will be edited if and when his creator responds to me) EDIT: HIS CREATOR HAS RESPONDED! His theme song is main character by Will Wood

Electracy: I think I like it by fake blood (There are no lyrics but yes.)

More Manny and the Beanstalk to the 5 people still interested in it

I tried drawing all the characters in it, Manny, Harry and Robin, Shrignold (our beloved bean seller), and our all-too-familiar horrifying duo, Paige and Tony, who take the role of, well, I think you know ovo

Im not the best with outfits but I’m just having fun with this so I’m good

I genuinely hope more people see this because I just love it and think it’d be cool to see more fan-stuff for it lol, like fanart or little writing stuff of it, maybe even people doing oc inserts and adding more teachers because since my interest in dhmis is mostly the Padlocalypse I often don’t pay attention to the other teachers, at this point this is an au based on Ice Hell and the fairytale prompt lol-

*inhales* WHEN I WAS A BOY-, I made a dhmis au. But that was (literally) years ago when I had no social media to share with anyone. Now that I am here with you all today I can finally ramble about it! (warning for being loooong)

The basic premise of the AU was reminiscent of horror games I liked at the time that revolved around little kids being chased by big monsters. In this case, I decided to be mean and throw Yellow Guy in to satisfy my edginess and to see my beloved suffer unfortunately :o(

Anyways, the story goes: Yellow Guy lives with his dad in the middle of nowhere on a farm where they harvest Normal Plain Looking Foods. Unfortunately for him, he has no friends and his dad is always gone away on some business trip or something.

So what does he do? He falls back on playing with his funny toys, this being Beanie Baby style stuffed animal versions of Red Guy and Duck guy. Which is fine and all, he has a good time and all (oh did I mention Roy doesn't really get him toys bc that's the case-), and nothing bad happens. UNTIL ONE DAY-

He is Very, Very bored. So, he chose to make a New Friend! He doodled on his sketchbook a face and slapped some fuzzy pipe cleaners on and BOOM a new toy was made. And surprise surprise, this lil guy can talk, walk, and everything! But something is wrong...he's led into the darkest depths of his home and witnesses things he should not have seen, guided by his crafted friends. What that is, I don't know entirely yet, I haven't fleshed out all the details entirely I'm sorry-

Anyhoo, here's some basic info of the Boys!

Yellow Guy: Main protagonist as expected. He's a funky kid who has no friends, but is super duper creative in his own little imaginative world!

Roy: Yellow's terrible father. He's hardly present ever, either engulfed in his work or working on being a terrible dad. Don't trust him one bit-

Red and Duck: funny lookin Beanie Baby toys Yellow had for a while. One day they just spring to life at the same time the sketchbook springs to life. They seem nice though, acting as guides and voices of reassurance.

Sketchbook: Yellow's toy crafted out of fuzzy pipe cleaners and a sketchbook. They seem awfully friendly. And passive aggressive. They like to make stuff and give "feedback" to Yellow.

Tony: Yellow's wall clock that was given a drawn face and limbs made from folding construction paper strips. He's very strict and to the point, a yeller.

Shrignold: A stuffed animal a part of a lovey dovey baby mobile that was gifted to him by Speshul One. He's awfully nice and likes to sing lullabies and play with his friends.

Food Fam: Kitchen toys with drawn faces and construction paper limbs that are weird and loud. They've very overwhelming.

Lamp: Yellow's nightstand lamp that was given googly eyes and limbs. He's a real wild card, that one....

Boss and special story, part 1

The boss sat down and sipped her tea. Apparently, special one had wanted a word with her on something VERY important, and she said that it was something that couldn’t wait after lunch. So, her being the problem solver she is, decided that she would skip lunch with her beloved children. So, what was it that couldn’t wait Special One?” She asked in a somewhat annoyed tone. She didn’t enjoy skipping lunch with her beloved children and Roy, but this seemed important. “Well, there are a lot of things in my mind…” Special said nervously, seeming to want to cry. "Oh sweetheart, there’s no need to cry!” Boss said, opening her arms and hugging Special one tightly. “Just tell me what’s wrong, and we can talk it out.” They separated and Boss handed Special some tea. A long explanation later… “Oh yes, I’m sure he cares about you.” Boss explained “But it’s like he tries to ignore me! Yellow guy knows I’m his special one, so why won’t he love me back?” Special asked angrily, tears forming in her eyes again. “Oh sweetie, you can’t force someone to love you! It takes time and patience. Time for him to realize he cares about you.” “B-but, Shrignold said-” boss cut her off “Shrignold is wrong about many things. He’s not always right, because if he WERE to fall in love, he would know. But he hasn’t, has he?” Special looked at the black floor and looked back at the woman in front of her. “Have YOU ever fallen in love, miss?” Special asked.
