(1) how tall are you? 

i haven’t checked in a bit but i’m about 5′2″ (ish) so that’s around 158cm (*sighs* yeah i know... i’m pretty short) 

(2) what color and style is your hair?

i actually got a haircut yesterday before my blackpink concert hehe so now my hair is layered and it goes a little past my shoulders. i didn’t start growing out my hair until late last year since i used to always cut it short (like, a little above my shoulders) so yeah... i used to dye my hair a longgg longggg time ago but now it’s its original color which is dark brown 

(3) what color are your eyes? 

a solid brown (not totally light, but not too dark) (my mom has really pretty light brown eyes but they didn’t get passed down to me so ahhaha *cries*) 

(4) do you wear glasses? 

yes, but no (?) i have glasses but i don’t wear them 24/7 since my eyesight isn’t that bad... i only wear them in class when i’m too far away from the board. i have kinda circular, brown glasses (lmao, i know no one asked but...) 

(5) do you wear braces?

i used to wear braces a couple of years ago so now i just wear my retainers once a week (you’re supposed to wear them every night but whatever,,, i’m pretty lazy and irresponsible and my teeth haven’t shifted sooo once a week will do ahah)

i care about how i dress but i don’t worry about how i look all the time soooo... i’ll sum up my style in a few words: 26 year old single korean girl walking to an aesthetic cafe on a sunday afternoon. yeah. that’s basically my style. lol i hope you guys understand what i mean... if not, i’m terribly sorry

i was born and currently live in los angeles, california however, i am 100% korean. both of my parents were born and raised in south korea. and yes, i am fluent in korean.

i am a highschooler. and that’s all i’m gonna say. skool sucks :P

(11) what kind of student are you?

i would like to say that i’m more of a hard worker than a naturally smart person, but i am currently getting straight As and for those of you who live in the us, i’m taking 5 APs (which totally sucks :’( but i’m handling them kinda well... i think). and i don’t really like being complimented because one of my biggest fears is of me becoming arrogant so let’s move on,,, pls.

hell no. but i have to deal with it since everyone does so :/// school isn’t that bad if you daydream and think about bts all day hehe. but in all seriousness, i think school is okay if you have the right friends to hang out with and talk to 

(13) favorite subject? 

history!!! i know this is really weird since not a lot of people like history, but i love ittt!!! i think it’s really fun since it’s kinda like one big story of our world (i’m sorry, i’m such a dork)... i took ap art history last year and i fell in love with it! 

(14) favorite tv shows? 

i used to watch kdramas a longgg time ago, but i kinda stopped but idk why... but my favorite tv shows are friends, the office, stranger things, jane the virgin, etc, etc... i can literally name so many tv shows that i’ve watched but then i’d go rambling on and on and on and i don’t want to bore anyone...

(15) favorite movie? 

forrest gump !!! (and also, did anyone see the two bts movies? i watched both of them at cgv and i literally exploded when i saw the members... okay, moving on (sorry... i get off topic really easily)) 

(16) favorite books? 

i read a book called “pachinko�� by min jin lee over the summer and it was so! freaking! good!!! i highly recommend it everyone~ it’s a historical fiction novel about 3-4 generations of this korean family who lived in korea and then moved to japan. it takes place a little before the korean war and it talks about the discrimination that koreans faced in japan at the time. i recently went to the library to check it out since i wanted to read it again but they didn’t have an english copy of the book so i’m reading it in korean at the moment. 

(17) favorite pastime? 

rewatching and rewatching and rewatching bangtan. oh, and streaming their new album ;) oh, and stressing over the new test questions on the fan cafe that the staff upload every week (i need to level up but the test is so hard... i cry every time) 

and writing for this blog! i originally made this blog to de-stress and write some scenarios and reactions and i didn’t know that people would actually like them and respond to them,,, so hey, thank you :) you make me happy every day 

(18) do you have any regrets? 

yes. too many to count. but i’m not gonna sit here and list them all lol

i don’t really know... but something in corporate law (?)

(20) would you ever like to be married? 

yessss! have you seen my entire blog??? it’s an entire fluff kingdom!!! i mean, i know that marriage is not just one big fluff and i know that it’s tough, but i would still like to get married one day 

i have my own little fantasies about how married life would be, but that’s a little secret so i’ll save it for next time ;)

as much as i love kids, i’m not too sure if i would want any... i mean, obviously my answer will change in the future, but i kinda want either no kids or just one kid... the responsibility of being a parent kinda freaks me out...

no, i absolutely LOVE shopping. i think i’m addicted lmao.

ahhh finally... the question i’ve been waiting for... so if you get to know me, i really really really reallyyyyy love traveling and i’m so grateful for all the opportunities i’ve been given to travel at such a young age. 

so, let me just list all the places i’ve been to (an i know not all of these are countries, or out of the us, but just hear me out,,, okay?) : france, italy, south korea, mexico, us (hawaii, nevada, utah, etc (lol, i can’t remember all of them)) 

my favorite location out of all of these places is definitely italy <3 (italy has my heart)... i stayed at rome and i also visited pompeii and positano (which were absolutely stunning and beautiful). i went to rome last spring (around april/may) and i personally, really love sightseeing and history and since rome is full of those two things i reallyyy enjoyed it there. oh, and don’t even get me started with the food <3333 

i also really loved france... i stayed at paris and my favorite thing about paris was definitely the louvre museum (once again, i love art history) as well as this place called montmarte (ahh! it’s so pretty) 

and last but not least, (as much as i love love loveee south korea) i really enjoyed mexico! i love calming, relaxing vacation spots so i got to go to cancun (twice!) and snorkel and swim and see little fishies in the clear turquoise ocean... yeah, i miss it there... :(

1. what is a bts song you recently rediscovered? (you listened to it again for the first time in a long time and fell in love) Intro: Skool Luv Affair. That “You give me life” by the middle hits so fucking hard.

2. how often do you re-watch bts music videos? do you think knowing their music videos is as important as knowing lyrics? I’ve honestly never been a big fan of music videos, even before BTS...and I admit that’s a bit of a flaw on my end because I know a big part of the BU comes to life in their music videos. I do try to rewatch them every now and then, but it’s not very often at all. As for their importance, they’re definitely important - especially those that fall under the BU storyline.

3. what is your favourite song to see in concert? Not just concerts but in music shows, award shows – Dionysus. Easily. Dope is also a lot of fun and I am OBSESSED with the rock and roll spin they did to the live version.

4. everybody was once a baby army. what is a stupid thing you believed as a baby army that is funny now? That Taehyung gave up being part of the rapline to offer it to Hobi instead.

5. tell me a story about how you almost became an army earlier but missed your chance. I had virtually zero chances before 2020, to be completely honest with you; they just weren’t on my radar besides me occasionally catching Boy With Luv on the radio when I used to drive to school. The closest would probably be sometime in late 2020, when Angela was already into BTS and was trying to get me on board. My Spotify search history revealed I apparently listened to Dynamite in December of that year but nothing came out of that; I only started getting invested in them for real by the end of March 2021.

6. what do you think about kpop music? what makes it enjoyable/un-enjoyable for you? I think it could be very complicated for anyone who isn’t into it. There is a very common sentiment of “I don’t get it” or “I don’t see myself ever liking K-Pop” for those who don’t listen to it – and I completely get it as I used to think like that, with the language barrier being a huge, if not the main deterrent. But then that moment of spark happens - maybe a member being hilarious, hearing the right song at just the right time? - that gets the ball rolling for every future fan. And all of a sudden you get the songs. You get the excitement and you get the thrill. It’s a very “if you’re in you’re in if you’re out you’re out” sort of relationship, I think.

I personally don’t find any unenjoyable part about the genre – it’s the machinery I have a problem with, like in the way they force idols into extremely rigid diets or the way they dress those who are debuting and are like 15 years old.

7. if you listen to kpop, name your top 5 kpop acts (non-bts) I don’t listen to other acts as much as I do BTS but I do enjoy SHINee, Twice, Jessi, Enhypen, and Ravi.

9. what is a bts song that hits home for you? Life Goes On, just because it’s the song that permanently converted me into a fan. I cried when I heard it for the first time. 00:00 as well.

12. what is one food from your country that you think bts will love? Those boys like anything pork so I’d probably serve them sisig. Plus points because it’s spicy, too.

13. how long did it take you to listen to their entire discography? Not too long, honestly. I can’t remember too clearly anymore but I’m pretty sure I binged all their albums within a week. Soundcloud is a different story though; it took me a few months to catch up with their unreleased songs and demos.

14. what is the one song that you looped endlessly as a baby army? Dionysus and Singularity. Dionysus was because MMA 2019 was the first performance of theirs I watched and was hoooooooooked on how they did the song. Singularity became an obsession after I watched Bang Bang Con 2021 and lost my shit over Tae singing on a bed. I literally made a “singularity but make it 10 times” playlist on Spotify that I still keep around haha.

15. what was the first bts lyric that made you realize bts are incredible songwriters? Ma City. Just that entire song and being able to incorporate each of their hometowns...so cool. There’s also this really good Korean wordplay on Butterfly that has stuck with me ever since – it’s from Namjoon’s verse and he raps, “My love that is forever, it's all free for you.” I won’t get into the actual wordplay anymore since it’s a little complicated but my god, what a stroke of genius.

16. have you ever tried to get an irl into bts? how did that work out? Not really. I like to gatekeep my boys, lol.

17. what is the first thing you would teach bts in your language? Probably something useful like asking for the restroom so they can get around easily hahaha.

18. if bts came to your country and you were their personal guide, where would you take them? Zambales. It’s a lowkey beach town and I feel like they could get a lot of rest and recharging there. When it comes to nearby places, probably Pinto but I feel like it’d only be Namjoon who’d enjoy it the most.

19. do you think "ot7" accounts that only tweet about one member are suspicious? I’ve stopped being on Army Twitter but I mean it depends? We all have our biases and that’s fine - I tweet about Tae a sickening amount on my personal lol - but if it crosses over to literally never voicing your support for the other six, making an unnecessary fuss about line distribution, or even outright hating on the other members then that’s a glaring red flag for a solo right there.

20. if there was a criteria to attend bts concerts, what should it be? Know the fanchants. I will never get over the silence when they performed I Need U at the recent LA shows.

21. do you think we should gatekeep bts from shitty fans, or is any amount of support valuable? Yeah there is definitely no place for stalkers, those who go overboard with shipping, those who bully other fans, solos. I’m well aware it’s a shitty fandom which is why I lasted all of like, a month on stan Twitter.

22. tag the person who makes army twitter feel safer / more enjoyable for you It wasn’t enjoyable for me to begin with which is why I left. I also felt too old for it.

27. what is your favorite nickname for the members? i personally love baby star candy and mimi I use Yoongles a lot. The names they give each other are also cute haha, like Jjwan and Jwehope.

28. what do you check before you send tweet? do you think about whether it will get you cancelled or do you just not care? Can’t relate, I haven’t been on Army Twitter for a few months now. The idea of getting cornered for the smallest things is actually one of the reasons I stopped wanting to be on there; it seemed as though people were just looking for the next thing to disapprove of.

29. how often do you cry (real tears) over bts? It’s usually when I’m feeling depressed since that’s when I would decide to listen to their comfort songs, like 00:00. Fortunately it doesn’t happen a lot. I think if I had become a fan earlier I definitely would have cried more with them... that’s what I envy older fans about. I feel like they get to have a closer relationship with them just because of the shit they went through from 2016 to 2018.

30. do you avoid talking about bts in front of your irls? No not really, everyone knows me as pretty much a living and breathing BTS megaphone lol. Like I said on a previous question, I don’t try to get them into the boys.

32. who are your parents' favourite bts member? my mom likes jungkook My dad doesn’t really have a favorite as he’s always simply focused on being able to match their names to their faces, haha. I will say though that he remembers Namjoon in particular because of his English skills, so I guess that’s close to being the favorite as it can get. My mom can’t tell them apart no matter how hard she tries and is generally not into them.

33. have you ever attempted a bts choreography, and how did that work out? i tried to do the chorus of idol and fell on my ass Well I can’t dance, so I’ve never tried doing choreo in that I’ve attempted to film videos. I do like moving along to Dionysus, Fire, and Mic Drop though lo.

34. what is your favourite ot7 collab and why? it could be reasons unrelated to the music Idk if this means a sub-unit song or a collab with a completely different artist but in any case I’ll answer with both. Fave sub-unit song would beeeee either The Truth Untold (it’s their most sing-alongable song) or UGH! (because why would it not be anyone’s favorite???). Fav collab with an artist...I’d have to go with Suga’s Interlude with Halsey. I find the lyrics really touching.

35. favourite / most bearable / least annoying american award show? I don’t really pay attention to award shows anymore. All I know is that the Grammys keep fucking them over but at least they let them have a really big performance this year. All the other ones I feel I’m too old for now.

36. what is the most memorable milestone in bts' career that you have experienced as an army? for me, it's when they got their first #1 on bb I haven’t been part of a lot of milestones, unfortunately. Maybe when they opened their individual Instagrams? I know the older fans have been waiting for that to happen for years.

37. what is your honest opinion on no-jammers Hahahaha.

38. this might be a strange question, but how long did it take you to trust bts? for me, it took a few months before i grew to trust bts the way i do now It was a couple of months for me. I became a fan in April and I was mostly an obsessed new fan at the start of it all, but then there was one night during Festa month when they posted a Mikrokosmos performance. If I’m not mistaken that was the last time they did the song before the pandemic hit, and the emotions I saw when they performed it and just that whole vibe of it being Festa month really helped secure it for me.

39. favourite reality show? it could be run bts, bon voyage, in the soop, etc Bon Voyage is a whole lot of fun, but I have to say I’ll always be an In the Soop simp. That show is my absolute shit.

40. small habits of the members that make your heart flutter? For Namjoon it’s when he translates stuff for the members, no matter how short the phrase is; for Jin it’s the scrunching of his nose that I find adorable hahaha; Yoongi’s has to be :] without a doubt; I personally like it when Hobi slaps the boys – that’s when you know he’s having a fuck ton of fun lmao; Jimin’s sarcastic aegyo is hilarious; Taehyung’s is Tata Mic; then for Jungkook it’d probably be whenever he gets annoyed at the boys but can’t really do anything about it since he’s theh youngest, hahahaha.

42. do you ever feel guilty for not listening to a song often enough? Yeah, I think this is me with my favorite song – Butterfly. I want the song to keep feeling as special as it had felt for me the first time I heard it, so I try to pace my listening to it so that I don’t get tired of the song.

43. are you the type to remember specific dates, such as the day a song was released or the day a member wore something iconic? I’m this way with my other fandoms, but considering I’ve been a BTS fan for only a little over a year I still have a lot of memorizing and remembering to do.

44. which member's music taste is most similar to yours? Honestly, none of them. But Namjoon does remind me a lot of myself considering how all over the place his music taste is.

45. what are some hopes you have for bts in the future? personally, i hope they could release music at their own pace without feeling pressure to put out new albums constantly I wish they could have significant others and kids like normal people eventually, without having to face backlash from irritating fans.

46. have you ever tried to learn korean? how did that work out? Yeah, I’ve been learning indirectly for years now; I picked up Hangeul all by myself simply from the variety/reality shows I had been watching. I won’t be able to survive a full conversation, but I feel like I’d be able to survive as a tourist in Korea at least by being able to read stuff.

47. us armys only: do you think we can get a #1 on bb with all their future comebacks? (official ot7 releases) I’m not from the US but I definitely think the popularity would wane at some point. It happens with everyone and shouldn’t be anything to freak out about.

49. a hobby of yours that you'd like to get bts into? it could be a tv show or a game you're really into lately My favorite hobby is already something that Namjoon likes doing - going to museums and exhibits. I can see Taehyung getting into Audrey Hepburn films and I’d be super excited if he ever goes down that road.

50. what type of oomf / account would bts be on army twitter? i think jungkook would be one of those mysterious editmys that drop an amazing edit then disappear for 2 weeks That Jungkook one is hilariously accurate. Who's your favourite member? I love everyone equally and I don’t make it a point to compare the members with one another. That said, the closest way I could answer this question, I guess, is stating my bias - which is V, or Taehyung.

Who's your second favourite member? Like I said, I appreciate all members equally and there’s really no existing internalized feelings of liking someone more than the others. But following what typically comes after one’s bias, my bias wrecker would be Yoongi. Sometimes it’s Jimin, hahaha. It changes.

What's your favourite song by them? The top 3 I always share are Butterfly, Sea, and Dionysus. I can’t pick an ultimate favorite beyond these.

What's your least favourite song by them? I would honestly skip over Haruman. DNA too.

Who do you think is the most handsome? All of them have their own unique charms, but when it comes to the member who comes closest to my ideal type, it would be Taehyung.

Who do you think is the cutest? Jiminnnnnn for sure. He’s good at that.

Who do you think is the funniest? I think Jin in general is fucking hilarious and can blend well with all types of humor; but Jungkook is funny too, in a very Gen Z way that I can relate to.

Who do you think has the best personality? I can’t possibly choose; they all have something unique about them which I really like and appreciate. Though to somehow touch on the question, the member who most likely has a personality closest to mine would be...Yoongi, maybe? I’d love to have a drink with him and pick at his brain for hours.

Who do you think is the most stylish? Hobi. Without a doubt. Jimin dresses nicely too, but I think Hobi would ultimately have to take the cake on this one.

ANYWAYYYY, each person on the vocal line is talented in their own way, so it wouldn’t make sense to pick a ‘best’ singer when all of them have their own strengths. Hell even the rapline has given it their shot at singing more frequently these days and they’ve all been great, too.

Who do you think is the best dancer? Objectively, Hobi or Jimin.

Who do you think is the worst dancer? Nobody is terrible. Everyone’s practice and hard work always pays off and I see that in every performance.

Who do you think is the smartest? I know Namjoon objectively the most intelligent out of all them. His IQ is crazy high.

When did you starting listening to BTS? Spotify recently informed me I listened to them for the first time as early as December 2020, which I can hardly believe and much more harder to recall. I didn’t start looking them up forreals until around late March, when I listened to BE.

Do you have any BTS merchandise? Yeah, lots of them in such a short span of time lmao. I still have several ones on the way here from Korea, as well.

Do you have any BTS CDs? Yup, I currently have 2 Cool 4 Skool, O!RUL8,2?, Skool Luv Affair, Dark & Wild, and the Butter Set. I also have the deluxe version of BE on the way to the country lmao. I’ve stopped buying albums for now since I realized the shipping fees would be a big bitch if I buy them one by one, so I’m currently saving up until I have enough to buy their discography in a bulk order instead.

What is your favourite music video by them? I have a soft spot for I Need U because I loooove the acting chops that the boys showcased. BST is a no-brainer, too.

What is your least favourite music video by them? Only because I’m not a super big fan of the song’s sound, DNA.

Do you prefer any of the Japanese versions to the Korean? The Japanese versions of their Korean songs have always sounded just a tad bit off to me, so no. Their Japanese songs though – as in songs that were penned in Japanese to begin with – are just on a different fucking level. Film Out, Crystal Snow, and Your Eyes Tell are my absolute favorites.

Who do you think is the most overrated member? No one.

Who do you think is the most underrated member? I’m not so sure...maybe Jin? So many continue to underestimate him to this day and there remains to be a lot of unnecessary criticism. He’s gone a really long way and has always been dedicated to his craft, and I wish more people would respect that.

If you could meet 1 member who would it be and why? Running into any of the seven would be the most wildest dream to ever come true, but I wouldn’t even think of bothering them should that happen.

What is your favourite BTS dance? IDOLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Black Swan and On are both a lot of fun to watch too.

Do you like Cypher? Yessss. I love all of them but Pts 3 and 4 would have to be my favorites.
