â70 years?â The shock you were feeling clearly shown across your face. âBut then how is she here now?â You searched your brain, the depths of your memories to try to recall if there was anything you didnât tell them. Youâd spent so much time researching, you werenât sure it was possible that you could have messed up on a detail as large as the resurfacing of this creature.
Dean watched you pace. He didnât think you even recognized when you stood up to start walking. âItâs okay, (Y/L/N).â
You stopped walking, when did you start doing that, and stared at Dean. You had begun to associate his use of your last name with the intimate moments youâd shared. âI canât explain this, how is that okay?â
â(Y/N/N), it is okay. You shared what you knew and we just have to do a little more digging.â Sam watched you, heâd seen the look in your eyes several times when you reached a stopping point in a case. âMaybe we should get some food.â
âYou cannot make me calm down with food me with food Samuel Winchester.â
âLook, I know you. Youâre hungry, hangry even. Letâs get some food and spend a little time just thinking about what could possibly explain the return. Any holidays, anniversaries, or similarities to another creature.â
You looked between the boys. âFine, but we need to figure this out fast before she finds someone else to ensnare.â
------
After returning to the motel room you all secured a spot and opened up your laptops to do some research. You refused to give Sam the satisfaction that he had been right about food helping you, instead you continued to glare at your screen. It was like a scavenger hunt, picking through various clues to lead you to the reasoning she could possibly be awake 70 years earlier than she should.
You started by searching holidays that fell around that time that could have impacted this arrival. Youâd hoped it would be as simple as All Hallowâs Eve but the timing didnât make sense. You searched through the holidays but the only one that caught any attention was Litha, also known as the summer solstice. It was the longest day of the year but it was also the day that indicated the dark was taking back over. Considering the creatureâs nature it wouldnât be far off but there had to be something more. You switched to anniversaries.
You researched old cases that seemed similar. Disappearances of multiple girls, bodies never found, but a trail of men left in the wake of their disappearances. You spotted the trend of years between the appearances start to dwindle. What could have changed to cause this?
Dean spoke up, breaking your train of thought. âAccording to legend she is supposed to appear once a year, some Scottish folklore, but Sam found something saying sheâs not supposed to appear for another 70 years.âÂ
âThe American folklore mentioned that she was far more efficient when she would come out so she didnât need to come out as much.â
âFolklore is just that boys, we need to remember that just because itâs what someone believes, it doesnât mean itâs completely factual. Once upon a time the cases that resembled her activity were sparse but over the last 500 years it seems theyâve gotten closer and closer.â
âHow did you research that far back already?â Dean stared in amazement. He drained the last of his beer, a small drop trailing down his chin.
You watch the drop of beer and your brain thinks of how nice it would be to lick it off of him. Well, that is going to be distracting. âBeen doing it for a long time and I already had some prior knowledge. Her pattern is becoming more predictable though. Perhaps her investments arenât lasting as long or the blood isnât as rich as it used to be. Hunters do like to drink.â
Dean shared a wry glance with his brother as he popped the cap off his next beer. âCheers to that. So, anyways, how do we know when sheâs going to disappear?â
âWe donât, the dates of disappearance are the only thing that were ever inconsistent throughout time. Which is why we need to act fast.â You knew it was coming, the food break could only stall the conversation of you being used to lure her out for so long. âI say we take two days to prep and plan, and then Friday evening is the night we go through with it.â
Dean reminded himself this was the right thing to do and bunched his hands into tight fists. âWhat do you believe is the best course of action?â
Youâd chosen the bed as your place of study but wished you were closer to Dean in this moment. You shifted your laptop to the bed and moved to the edge of Samâs bed, close enough to rest your hands on top of Deanâs white-knuckled fists. âWe go on a date.â
âA date? How will that get her attention?â
âIâll be all dressed up and so happy to be out with you but youâll go on and break my heart. My appearance should attract her because she has a thing for shiny objects and a mean man who deserves to die would be the icing on the cake she needs.â
âDoesnât sound like we have to wait until Friday.â Dean adjusted, his muscles loosening at the fact that he would be with you during this scheme.
âWe should wait though. Friday night is date night for most people. We need to round out the image and appearances too. Plus we canât stop our search, especially with the interaction I had today. Sheâll know weâre onto her and if we were to just go for it the next day it would look suspicious. Waiting provides us time to make it look like we are struggling, giving up, weakening.â
Dean released the fists he held and gripped your hands with his. âWeak is one thing we are not.â
âWe know that, she wonât, especially if we can pull the fight off.â
Sam, whoâd been patiently biding his time finally spoke up. âYou two should investigate together tomorrow. You havenât quite appeared as a couple in public and it will seem odd if the two of you just go out Friday. Iâm going to take a shower while you figure out what you think you can fight about.â
You waited until the water was running, unable to pull away from Dean. Youâd agreed to start something, but now the thought of ending it, even faking ending it, seemed too real too soon. âCan we pull this off?â
âOh, I think I can manage to get upset with you about something.â Dean chuckled when you snarled. âSee, weâre already ready to argue.â
âWhat about Sam?â Dean just stared at you, waiting for further explanation. âWe could fight about Sam. Iâve been hunting and investigating with him over you so it wouldnât be far fetched to think that there was something going on there.â
Dean flinched. âI donât want that imagery, again.â Dean pulled you onto his lap, linking his fingers behind your back. âDoes this mean we have to go shopping?â
âWell, I didnât exactly pack going out clothes for a hunting trip.â
Dean resigned himself to the idea of spending hours looking for clothes with you, but reminded himself it was just more time he got to spend with you, something he was enjoying probably far too much. âWeâre doing it together. I think itâll help with the appearance, plus I want as much time with you before this all goes down.â Dean planted a kiss to your neck.
âIt hasnât even been three weeks that Iâve known you, the real you, but it feels like so much longer.â You hooked one arm around Deanâs neck, leaning back so you could look into his eyes. This next part wasnât going to make him happy. âPromise me one thing, if this turns south and she lures me in, you wonât let her keep me. Trap me up until you can figure out a way to get me back or end it.â You felt yourself hit the bed before you had time to process what was happening.
âEnd it?â Dean was stomping the length of the room, thrusting his fingers through his hair. âWe just talked about how we arenât weak. There is no way anything is going to happen to you.â Dean stopped and looked at you. âIâm going to walk around outside for a bit, I need some space to think over the fact you want me to just end it.â
You flinched as the door slammed behind Dean. Maybe it was callous to say end it but if it was necessary so be it. To hell with him. Who did he think he was getting upset when he said he would go with the plan. To. Hell. With. Him.
You stood, prepared to just change and go to bed, but found yourself seeking out the man who continued to push your buttons.
âThis is my choice!â You yelled to his shadow. âI can ask Sam to do it if you donât think you can but I refuse to live a life with this creature where Iâm luring and killing men for sport. Youâre either with me or youâre not.â Satisfied you got that off your chest you turned to reenter the motel room but found yourself scooped into Deanâs arms. âWhat do you think youâre doing?â
âDonât you dare ask Sam.â Dean carried you to the hood of Baby and set you down, standing between your legs. âOf course I would do it but did you think the concept would be easy for me to think about? What if I told you to end it for me if she managed to get her claws in me and I was fighting to hold on? How would you respond?â
You bristled, the thought quite unpleasant. âI get it, and Iâm sorry, but it is part of the job, the life.â You leaned forward and linked your hands behind his neck, drawing him closer. âThis should get her attention.â
âIâm not doing this for her attention,â Dean mumbled, dropping a featherlight kiss to your lips. âI like you, and I donât like people lightly. Giving me time to wrap my head around losing you before we go through with this plan is probably for the best and it will probably help my anger during our faux argument.â
âItâs not going to be easy for me either. I may have been indifferent to you at first but I like you too.â
âIndifferent?â Dean chuckled. âYou couldnât have cared less about me at the start if you tried.â
âYouâre wrong,â You said, recalling the day you jumped on his back. âI would say I found you annoyingly attractive but we just started off on the wrong foot.â
âDoes that mean we are on the right foot?â
You answered by sealing your lips to his. You crossed your ankles behind his legs, pulling yourself as tight against him as you could. You didnât even recognize your own behavior anymore, but you were about to put your life on the line in a way that you never had before. Not just yourself though, someone who had quickly become an important piece in your life. It should have shook you how much you cared about Dean but instead you felt comfort in his arms.Â
âYouâve really gotta stop thinking while Iâm kissing you,â Dean interrupted your train of thoughts.
Sighing you moved your hands to cup his face. âI was just thinking about how comfortable I am in your arms.â
âOh,â Dean said, squeezing you tighter. âWell, in that case, could you think out loud?â
âLetâs go back in before we draw too much attention to ourselves.â
Dean scooped you off the hood of the car. âDonât wanna scratch the hood.â
You rolled your eyes. âOkay, you didnât scratch the hood, now put me down.â
Dean continued to carry you, dropping you on the bed, ignoring the look Sam was giving him. He turned to his duffle bag, deciding he needed to take a very long shower. He lifted the duffle bag onto his shoulder and winked at you before walking into the bathroom. He wanted you to join him but this case needed to be over before he could think about going any further with you.
He stripped out of his clothes and turned the water on, not as hot as he normally would but he needed to cool down, which would normally work if you hadnât knocked on the door. âWhat?â
âI need to change.â
âCouldnât you just ask Sammy to step outside?â
âOh, donât be a baby.â
Dean pictured you changing, easily done since youâd showered together just that morning. How had it only been since that morning when it felt like it had been days if not weeks since that had occurred. â(Y/L/N), youâre killing me.â
âWhen you first started using my last name I hated it but now I find it endearing, kind of a turn on.â You heard Dean groan, bringing a smile to your lips.Â
âCould you just change and go so I can get on with my shower.â
You slipped your night shirt over your head. âRight, Iâm sure thatâs all you need to get on with.â When Deanâs head whipped around the shower curtain to glare at you the laughter bubbled from deep within before you could stop it. âIâm going.â You walked out still laughing, catching a curious eye from a lounging Sam. âJust teasing your brother.â
You curled onto your side under the blanket, keeping room for Dean since you knew that was where he was going to sleep. You thought about how you woke up with him and the events that had transpired to his black eye, followed by the entire day you had. You were overwhelmed and the exhaustion soon took you under.
Dean attempted to get under the covers without waking you. Sam was out and the only light was from the moon shining through the curtains. He sucked in a deep breath when you rolled against him, nervous.
âWhat time is it?â You mumbled.
âJust close your eyes and go back to sleep.â Dean wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close so your head rested on his chest. As soon as Dean could feel your chest rising and falling at a slower rate he relaxed and felt himself begin to fall asleep. He knew the next two days were going to be long as the preparations to face the creature who inadvertently brought you together unfolded so he took the time to enjoy the feel of you in his arms. Running his fingers and up and down your arm he let the pattern lull himself to sleep.

đđđđđđđđ#đđđ â jinny park grown up aka the coolest girl in south korea.
name: park jinri nickname: jinny dob: june 15, 2018 zodiac: gemini height: 173 cm, 5âČ8âł
jinny has been homeschooled for most of her life by choice. just like her mom, she doesnât like being around others and prefers to spend her days browsing online and ordering mass amounts of food she doesnât end up eating.
she has a fickle temper ( just like haera ) and the majority of her preteen and teenage years were spent fighting with her mother. she prefers her father, but at the end of the day sheâll cuddle her mother at night and tag along on shopping trips.  they bicker more like friends and despite all their petty arguments, she considers haera as her best friend.
people find her intimidating because she hardly smiles. and honestly, she prefers that. people take her more seriously when they find her intimidating. wears sunglasses to the studio and intentionally wears platforms and heels to amplify her intimidating image. Â
haera cut her bangs once and they turned out ugly, but ever since then, she kept them. now itâs her signature look. the dua lipa hair with the bleached streaks was out, long hair with bangs was back in all because of jinny.
occupation â
being homeschooled allowed her to take on a variety of hobbies. she was placed in every lesson possible trying to find what her thing was. she stuck with drawing and piano. through that she took an interest in producing and writing music and the art of tattooing. itâs evident she only landed a job at one of south koreaâs biggest hip hop and rnb labels because of nepotism, but you canât deny her talent. during the day sheâs diligently attending her tattoo apprenticeship ( haera hates it ) and during the night she produces and writes music.
( honestly, shoutout to audrey for buying her a shit load of instruments when she was younger to annoy the shit out of haera, ended up being her thing ).
over the years, sheâs garnered a huge social media following. and because of her affiliation with so many royals, people took an interest in her. from the young age of 14 sheâs been featured in many magazines, talk/variety shows, etc.Â
she's the youngest and only female producer/mentor on the popular korean hip hop competition show, show me the money. and the youngest producer/mentor to win. Â
music â
the type of music she produces and writes is much different from the music she listens to. she fell into a punk rock hole when she was 8. blink 182, evanescence, billy talent, three days grace, my chemical romance, etc. she thinks the 1975 and coldplay suck and you canât tell her otherwise. she hates 88rising and hates the idea of 88rising.Â
click here to listen to the music jinny listens to.
jinny produces and writes a lot of rnb, some indie and a few ballads. thatâs what she feels most comfortable producing and itâs the type of music thatâs popular so more royalties and more money! Â
click here to listen to the type of music jinny makes.
style breakdown â
unlike her mother, jinny doesnât wear bold prints, colours, statement jewelry. she opts to wear a lot of black. she does have a lot of interest in fashion, just not the brands haera is interested in.Â
brands she likes and often wears: hyein seo, marine serre, yangli, ann demeulemeester, helmut lang, 1017 ALYX 9SM, peter do, maison margiela, junya watanabe, rick owens, MISBHV, heliot emil and yohji yamamoto.

5 Instagram Metrics That Truly Measure Your Efforts
Itâs just another normal day at the office as a social media manager. You start replying to Tweets, scheduling a few Facebook posts and put up a couple pictures of last nightâs company dinner on Instagram. Then one of your executives comes to you and says âI need you to pull a report of our Instagram progress for the past three months.â You say sure, no problem. But once she leaves, you sit thinking to yourself, what in the world should I put in this report?
If that scenario sounds familiar, youâre not alone. With social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and even Pinterest, you have plenty metrics to measure the success of your campaigns. But with Instagram, itâs not as simple.
Although the company is taking steps to make the app more marketer friendly, itâs not all the way there yet. Thankfully there are some Instagram metrics you can (and should) track to measure your efforts.
1. Comments Received
What this metric tells you: How engaging is your content.
The first metric most brands look at to measure social media engagement on Instagram is the number of likes for their photos. Likes are nice, but comments are an even stronger indicator of engagement. Think about it. It takes more time to think out and write a comment than it does to like a photo. TrackMaven found brands average 18.54 likes per photo per 1,000 followers, but just 0.63 comments.
When your followers go beyond double tapping your photos and take the time to leave a comment, itâs because they resonated with it. Comments, whether positive or negative, are the result of a person feeling some type of emotion for your content, your brand or both.
If your average number of comments per post starts to increase, it could mean youâre building a community and a loyal following, which is a big goal for most companies. On the flip side, if you notice youâre barely getting any comments or the number of comments youâre getting per post is declining, it could be a sign that your followers arenât connecting with your content.
Donât put up the white flag just yet. Use it as an opportunity to go back to the drawing board and think of ways to create better photos and boost your engagement. Try adding videos instead of just pictures, or get more creative with your Instagram captions.
2. Most Engaged Hashtags
What this metric tells you: Which hashtags you should use.
Hashtags and Instagram go together like peanut butter and jelly. Not only do Instagram posts with hashtags get more engagement, but hashtags also make your posts more discoverable. There are a few different Instagram metrics you can track when it comes to hashtags, but measuring which hashtags are getting the most engagement is your best bet.
Since Instagram is one of the few social media platforms that encourages the use of multiple hashtags in your posts, you should start putting together a list of the ones that get the most likes and comments. That way you can add them into relevant posts as often as you need to. Remember, hashtags on Instagram function like keywords for search engine optimization. The hashtags with the most engagement are like your keywords that bring in the most traffic. Learn what those are, and youâll have a lot more success.

Another overlooked benefit of this metric is that it gives you an idea of what type of content you should post. For instance, in the screenshot above we see that #cafe, #coffee and #espresso received a lot more engagement than the other hashtags. As a cafe, this tells you that you should post more pictures inside the coffee shop, or pictures of drinks. You can never go wrong with the classic coffee art photo.
If you find that your posts arenât getting the amount of engagement youâd like, look over this metric. The problem could be your hashtags.
3. Engagements Per Follower
What this metric tells you: Your engagement relative to your audience size.
Looking at companies like Nike and Starbucks that get thousands of likes and comments on each post can be very overwhelming if your photos and videos only average a couple hundred likes. But thereâs one thing youâre forgetting. Nike and Starbucks have millions of followers, so their posts have more reach. The engagements per follower metric is perfect because it shows you how many likes and comments your posts are getting per individual follower. This way, you donât get wrapped up in comparing your companyâs numbers with larger brands. Itâs possible for a smaller page to get more engagements per follower than larger ones, even if they have less engagement overall.
When this metric is increasing, it shows that your followers are resonating with your content, and that your page is a priority for them since theyâre liking and commenting on multiple posts. If this number is low or shrinking, it means users are engaging with your content every once in a while but probably not checking your page regularly.
In order to boost this number, you can try posting more exciting content so that people look forward to checking out your page every day. For instance, photographer Joel Strong takes pictures throughout New York and uses replacement heads of celebrities and famous characters. Followers canât wait to see whatâs going to be posted next, so they constantly come back.

Another good idea is to upload new content on a regular basis. Aim for at least one or two new posts each day.
4. Followers Gained
What this metric tells you: The total reach of your posts.
Up until this point, the Instagram metrics weâve looked at have centered around measuring your engagement and the activity around your account. But letâs not overlook one of the most universal metrics in social media, followers. Although itâs more important to have engaged followers than just a huge amount, there is strength in numbers.
Ideally, the number of followers you have will grow over time as you build your brand. Whether itâs through shoutouts from influencers, word of mouth between friends or even paid ads, you want to grow your audience for social proof and to be able to reach more people.
When you look at this metric, measure it over a period of time. Tracking it day by day isnât going to give you the information you need in order to make informed decisions. For example, if you notice that youâre only earning a handful of new followers each month, you need to ramp up your marketing efforts. On the other hand, if you see the number of followers you gained one month and noticed a huge spike on one specific day, then you should look into what you did to achieve that growth so you can replicate it.
Some marketers look at your number of followers as a vanity metrics, and in some ways it can be. However, the real benefit of measuring your follower count is to know what your brandâs potential reach is for the content youâre publishing. Pages with more followers have more reach. The fewer people that see your posts, the less engagement youâre going to get. Getting more followers gives you a better opportunity to get your content seen.
5. Referral Traffic
What this metric tells you: How much traffic your website receives from Instagram.
One of the biggest complaints businesses have about social media marketing is not being able to track the return on investment (ROI). Although we know that itâs possible to track social media ROI, Instagram threw marketers for a loop because the app doesnât allow clickable links within posts. So what do you do if you want to promote a new piece of content or a special on Instagram, and be able to easily track the results? Use UTM parameters of course.
UTM parameters are tags that you can add onto a URL to give Google Analytics more information about the link. By adding UTM parameters to the links you share on Instagram, you can accurately track your campaigns and credit traffic that comes directly from Instagram. Hereâs a complete guide on how to setup UTM parameters for your social media. Since the URLâs will be a bit long, itâs a good idea to use a URL shortener like Bitly when youâre including links in your captions. That way, people can open up their browser and type in the URL.
Another option thatâs more convenient than adding URLs inside captions is to use your bio. Instagram allows you to have one clickable link in your profile section. Some brands like to use this link to promote special deals or new content. Whenever you have something new to promote, itâs as simple as changing the link.
Or, you can go the route of Apartment Therapy. The apartment design website shares photos of design inspiration on their Instagram page. They create a corresponding page on their website (linked in their bio) where people can go to get more information on the design.
For example, take a look at this post.
It's hard to believe this kitchen was once a dark, drab and crowded space. Even though no major changes were made to the layout, fresh updates gave it a bright and stylish new look. Click the link in our for the complete before and after. (Image: @erikasalum)

Notice the call to action to click the link in their bio. That link, which is tracked, directs you to a page with all the images from their Instagram profile. You can see the corresponding image for the post above.
6. Instagram Stories Metrics
What these metrics tells you: How popular your Instagram Stories are.
With Instagram Stories now becoming a significant feature, more brands have jumped on board to test it out. But how do you know if what youâre doing is actually working?
Similar to Snapchat, Instagram doesnât give you a whole lot of data on your Stories. But using a combination of their data and some math, you can get a decent idea of how your Stories are performing. Here are some metrics to track:
Unique views: This is the number of people that saw your story. You can also see the number of people that saw each individual slide in your Story.
Completion rate: Your completion rate shows you how many people view your full story. This isnât a metric Instagram gives you, so youâll have to do some math. Donât worry, itâs simple. Youâre going to divide the number of people that saw your last story by the number that saw your first one. Then multiply by 100.
Direct messages to your story: The number of people who send your brand a direct message from your Story. Right now, this is the closest thing you have to an engagement metric for Instagram Stories since users canât Like or share them. If you want to get a make-shift engagement rate, divide the number of DMs from your Story by the number of views.
Also keep in mind that you wonât have historical data on your Stories within the app. So if you want to track your performance over time, youâll have to do it manually through a spreadsheet or elsewhere.
