okay so based on joel’s death keepinventory is on?? which is odd but i’m thinking it probably has to do with this seasons explicit time constraints. since there’s a hard deadline on how long this season can go on (which gets shorter for each person with every death), it might be to prevent spending time getting stuff from feeling like a waste, since you would just lose it all when you die after possibly spending a few of your valuable hours getting it. and then you have even less time to get your stuff back.

however it could ALSO be that there’s smth planned for later weeks that involves/is affected by inventory in some way. i believe someone (martyn?) said smth about a special tnt recipe being a ‘week two thing.’ so there might be more surprises in store in coming weeks, possibly smth that would benefit from keepinventory being on.
