I think I knew deep down in my gut shortly into s3 that Ted/Rebecca wasn't going to happen (maybe mid-s2 if I'm honest), but it still makes me feel absolutely insane every time I remember that he texted her like 16 times in a row in Amsterdam and the show never contextualized or elaborated upon this in any way, I just simply-
