Notice. (Pretty Important)

So in a former post of mine I laid some information out about my personal blog, that literally only 2 people know is me. I’m really careful about that because I do not like connecting my personal shit with my alternative shit. My personal shit houses stuff that’s insanely intimate for me, such as stuff about my greater hardships from darker times in my younger life.  Anyway, I’ve been getting constant “You should kill yourself” messages on my personal blog and I’m not happy about that. I rarely take tumblr breaks because of other people, normally I take tumblr breaks because I’m just done being on the site and I’m moving on to reddit because I swap the two depending on my moods, but here and now I’m gonna just be off all of my apps for while because that is not okay.  Close friends know where to find me, and fans; my ao3 is always going to have updates for you when I make new stories, but for now...I’m just done. I do not deserve that kind of treatment. Nobody does. It’s immature and I’m sorry but no. I refuse to even deal with it.  It’s been real, and I’ve had a LOT of fun here, but for now, I’m just gonna take a break because while that stuff hasn’t come to me here, it’s still about who I am as a person, and that isn’t okay.

Fun rp stories: back a few years ago when I helped run this one group we were searching for capable writers that had a similar interest as those of us already in the group, well, a non-native English speaker applied and there were quite a bit of grammatical errors in her application to join the group, however...it was only things regarding punctuation and the spelling of certain words that even I myself get wrong (such as using affect/effect). We wound up involving her in the group regardless because, despite the fact that she didn’t know the exact grammar rules for those moments, I could always go in and fix the posts so it was no big deal. Other people that ran groups that I knew told me about how they denied her app because she was ‘illiterate’ and it infuriated me because she wasn’t illiterate, she just didn’t know the rules of English that the rest of us grew up learning because English is a complex language to learn! Anyway after I had a discussion with them about that I spent a lot of time with her, giving her small tips and helping her to know certain things about sentence structure to make it sound more fluid (such as things like why things are described in a certain order, and why certain phrases no longer sound natural), anyway this girl wound up having such a creative mind that I felt really out of place in the group with her, and I was the group manager.  Then there’s my amazing boyfriend, and honestly he’s one of the best writers I know. Non-native English Speakers are some of the most creative people if you learn to give them a chance, you can help them to become not only more fluent and understanding of the language, but you can forge pretty deep bonds with them and getting to know people is one of the best things in the world.

Consequences Alya, Every Action Has A Consequence

Summary: Alya did not fact check before she posted on an article on her blog like always. The outcome of this was unexpected but fully deserved.

Author's Notes: slightly inspired by Charlatans by shoryubug on ao3 premise (only by the description of the story to be honest).

It was a quick and simple article which was something Alya was unhappy with but considering that she only a night to post it before she was banned off the internet while she visited her family outside of Paris, she wanted it out. What was this big news? you ask well Lila had revealed that someone in her class was Ladybug but Lila didn't know who since they only hinted at it, so by midnight on Friday the article was online and as they left early to avoid traffic no one in her family realised the shit storm that Alya had realised on the city.

The weekend was nice, her cousins were annoying but that was expected since most were younger than her. Her aunt and uncles were fun to chat with as they were all interested in how her school had been since the last time she had visited. She got strange looks from her relatives when she mentioned Lila but Alya ignored them as she focused on telling them how popular her blog ha become.

When Alya finally came back to Paris she was too tired to go online and the next morning she was late so had to quickly run out of the house only saying a quick goodbye to her parents, ignoring whatever they had to say. As she ran to school, she noticed the strange looks she got from people but that didn't matter, she couldn't afford to be late as she was on thin ice with Miss Bustier from filming on Akuma battles instead of getting to class on time.

Bursting through the door, she quickly started her apologise while she also focused on getting her breath back. Only after that, she noticed how eerily quiet the classroom was. Standing up to face the class she saw that many of her classmates looking exhausted, some of them were glaring daggers at her while others just avoided her eyes entirely. Lila looked as white as a sheet while she stunk down into her chair. What was shocking was Marinette and Adrien.

Both were at the back of the room, Adrien sitting down in his seat with a cold demeanour that resembled his father while Marinette was stood at the top of the steps arms crossed and had a calm face that seemingly hid a tidal wave of anger behind it. That along caused Alya to step back.

"Marinette are you ok?" asked Alya keeping her voice calm trying not to show her nerves, she had never experienced Marinette's anger, sure she had seen the girl angry outbursts at Chloe and Lila or when she messed up a design but this kind of anger was different and completely foreign to Alya.

"Am I ok? Really that's your first question, not I'm so sorry for all the trouble I caused you and the rest of the class" replied Marinette, confusing Alya,

"What do you mean?" questioned Alya,

"She means the article you posted Alya" stated Adrien in a tone similar to the one you would use when talking to a toddler,

"Article? You mean Ladybug being someone in this class" responded Alya slightly annoyed with the tone Adrien had used "speaking of which, why did no one tell me about one of you guys being Ladybug".

"Because no one in this class is Ladybug" growled Alix who was one of the few people who were able to look Alya in the eye,

"What do you mean?" question Alya raising her voice at Alix's tone, "Lila said-" she was cut off by Rose yelling which was something she never expected out of the girl,

"Lila lied" the girl yelled with eyes starting to water, "Lila lied about everything".

Rose collapsed in her seat sobbing as she was comforted by her girlfriend Juleka. Marinette looked at the pair with pity while Adrien shook his head. "What do you mean she lied?" responded Alya, she was getting more confused by the second,

"Bae, no one in here is Ladybug, Lila lied she lied about everything" replied Nino in a small voice.

Before Alya could respond, Marinette began to speak, "Everyone fact-checked Lila after the Akuma battle your article caused",

"I missed an Akuma battle and no one told me" exclaimed Alya which caused Marinette face to morph into an expression that showed her true anger,

"Did you not hear me when I said it was caused by you?" she snapped,

"What do you mean it was caused by me, I didn't do anything" replied Alya,

"Your article did, did you not realise that you would paint a big red target on our back when telling the whole of Paris that a rumour about someone in our class being Ladybug was true" respond Adrien standing up from his chair.

"Target what target?" question Alya louder than she meant to but she couldn't help it she was so confused,

"The target of hawkmoth being after everyone in this class for a miraculous that no one has" yelled Marinette, "you publicly posted that to a blog that almost everyone in Paris uses and not only that your story was broadcasted on almost every major news network because they trust you to tell the truth about Ladybug", Marinette got closer with every word.

"We had to deal with a two-day Akuma attack that was focused on us and us alone" continued Adrien "As well as the press demanding answers from us",

"They even accused parents of child neglect since they wonder on why our parents never notice that their child was out fighting Akuma battles" stated Max,

"We had to deal with a two-day Akuma attack that was focused on us and us alone" muttered Nino,

"I...I..." Alya trailed off as she tried to figure out how to respond.

"You put everyone in this class in danger for what, a few views on your blog" stated Marinette pointing a finger at her former friend,

"Lila said-" Alya said trying to defend herself but was swiftly cut off by Adrien,

"Who cares about what she lied about, you still made the decision to post it on your blog",

"You put everyone her in danger because you didn't fact check, you didn't bother to try and track down Ladybug to her what she had to say or even Chat Noir, you instead were blinded by a big scoop that you didn't think of the consequences like always" continued Marinette.

"What do you mean like always?" exclaimed Alya,

"When you broke into my locker because you thought I was Ladybug or the fact you run headfirst into Akuma battles" replied Chloe in a bored tone while she picked at her nails,

"Alya you are lucky that Ladybug and Chat Noir cleared up the lie or we would still be in danger from Hawkmoth or from the press," Adrien said.

Before Alya could respond the door swung open to reveal a depressed-looking Miss Bustier and an angry Mrs Mendeleiev, "Rossi, you are needed in the headmaster's office" Mrs Medeleiev and when Lila looked like she was about to protest, the angry teacher cut her off, "it's not up for debate" and with Lila and Mrs Mendeleiev left.

The class was left in awkward silence with Miss Bustier looking on the verge of tears. "Class as of today, I will no longer be your teacher as I have been fired" the women choked out most of the class look shock but not Adrien and Marinette, in fact, they looked happy,

"And because of that along with the attack you experienced, your class have been cancelled for the rest of the week with you only getting online homework to complete".

"Miss Bustier, why were you fired?" asked Alya,

"I was fired because of how I handled Lila and her lies along with how I dealt with bullies" answered Miss Bustier softly as the class began to pack up and leave giving Miss Bustier looks of pity while they left. "If anyone here was Ladybug, it's no wonder nobody told you considering the shit we had to deal with because of your article" sneered Chloe as she left.

"Alya, consider me to be only your classmate and not your friend" stated Marinette as she went to leave,

"What why?" stuttered Alya,

"I can't be friends with someone who was that foolish enough to put my loved ones in danger" the girl replied coldly,

"Same here," said Adrien not even sparing her a glance as he left with Marinette.

As the door swung shut leaving her in a silence cold classroom that normally is filled with joy, "I'm sorry" the girl whispered as she started to cry, collapsing on the wooden floor with only Nino to comfort her but even that wasn't enough to stop the pain of her mistake.

Author's Notes: Fun fact this was originally labelled as 'Alya you fucked up' in google docs.

I thought this premise was interesting so I wanted to do my own spin on it.

I have been working on my other stories but I have been catching up on anime I have missed so it may take a while for them to come out.

Ahhhhhhhh my Chat Noir ring (transformed colors) and Adrien Ring (detransformed colors) both came in the mail today!  Which reminded me that I have this Tumblr and I write fanfics now!  So to all of you following me, I’M SORRY THAT I’M SO TERRIBLE!  Anyway sometime soon when I’m able to remember and I’m not half-asleep you’ll see some updates from me, and one of which is a heavily angsty story!  This is a new idea that came to me, and isn’t the heavily angsty story but a salt/angst mix; I Said Leave Me Alone: Alya gets akumatized and hits Marinette, asking her why she won’t even make an effort for Lila, Nino captures a video of Marinette’s answer, and Alya realizes that things really aren’t what they seem. Lila Salt, Lila’s Lies are Exposed, Minor Adrien & Nino Salt, Class Salt, Bustier Salt, Alya Redemption.  Since most of you want to know; Standing Up is definitely in the works, I’m writing chapter 4 right now, and when I remember, I’ll update it with chapter 2. SPOILER ALERT BELOW THE CUT

Standing Up: Chapters 2 & 3 are heavy with Andre Glacier salt. I won’t lie, I really fucking hate that guy. I irrationally want to punch him in his goddamn face. First; HE MAKES BAD ICE CREAM SUGGESTIONS, secondly; HE HAS NO GODDAMN RIGHT TO GET UPSET AT A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL FOR NOT WANTING ICE CREAM, thirdly; Seriously he’s a goddamn adult, what reason does he have to get THAT upset that someone won’t eat his damn ice cream, shouldn’t be he glad that she won’t run out his supplies? Or if he was upset, shouldn’t it have been that she just WASTED THE ICE CREAM, no instead he’s upset that she doesn’t want to eat it, not that it’s gone to waste???? Like...for real, I want to punch him. Hard. Or hire Makoto Niijima to punch him because I’m sure she’s stronger than me.  More news on Standing Up: I finally came to a conclusion that a lot of you won’t like, so no spoilers but warning; it will have Alya redemption. I couldn’t find a path to keep her out of redemption without ruining my general idea for Marinette’s journey in the story, so if any of you want to quit reading, that’s fine, I just wanted you aware.

So because @siamxshade has given me permission to do this, I think I’m gonna let you all know now what the majority of my writing time is going to be dedicated to.  A while ago, @siamxshade and I kind of went crazy with our rps as Adrien/Chat Noir and Marinette/Ladybug, which, nbd, it was fun and it still is fun, but we came up with this one story together that we both wanted to explore, but it kind of took a backseat to an rp based off of my favorite fanfic (written by @thetauruspixie, called Madness Within). If you’re gonna try and hunt tumblr for it, I’m gonna be honest, you won’t find a trace of our rp for that anywhere. It’s in a private discord server between him and I. Anyway; The idea that we recently scrapped is something that I think would be amazing as a fanfic, and I’m going to pursue that. The basic idea is that Adrien gets himself in danger, and Marinette has to reveal herself to one person, in order to save his life. This story will be called Life Will Change, both as an homage to where @siamxshade and I met in rp (P5!) and because the title really works for what I want to do.  So what does this mean for my future stories? Nothing much. I’m already a slow writer as is when it comes to Standing Up, and I Said Leave Me Alone is going to have it’s own natural conclusion when I find it after the next 2 chapters sometime, aside from that though...Rooftops is going to take a hit since I’m going to be putting more concentration on Ladrien which means I’ll be out of the Ladynoir loop in my writing. As much as I love Rooftops though, it is also just...something meant to be moments as I think of them, nothing more than that, so updates there will always be scattered anyway.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding when it comes to my stories though, I swear the embrace here has been something awesome. Also...I kinda got into a thing on my personal blog which...is upsetting me. I know that if I want to avoid a meeting of the two and keep this separate from my personal blog then I shouldn’t address this issue, but I’m gonna so watch me commit social suicide for a moment in the ‘keep reading’. 

So I know that on my personal blog I made a bit of a blunder in a way that I didn’t mean to. I had posted something in response to someone’s point on Ladrien, and it seems that the points I was trying to make were really misconstrued. It seems as though I hate the ship, and like I was trying to rag on people for liking it when really the only part of the love square I dislike is Adrinette, and I don’t even hate Adrinette, I just...the scene in Puppeteer 2 in the car (not the god awful statue scene because that is hilarious cringe!) really broke my heart and made me lose hope for Adrinette...but that’s beside the point.  One of the points made by the OP was about how people argue that Ladrien is the ‘perfect’ sides of them, and I tried to support that by pointing out the flaws in the characters as Adrien and Ladybug, and then I kinda...said something else, which now reading, yeah it seems like I was being an asshole, but I never intended to be.  So let’s get this out there; I don’t think Ladrien is boring or lacks tension. I was speaking from an analytical view of how most people view it that way because that’s where their arguments against it come from, a lot of where this analysis comes from is watching mainstream television for years. Shows like Bones went the distance on milking the lack of a romantic relationship with Boothe and Brennan because the thought of their being together was a network nightmare due to previous shows having that same kind of tension of will they/won’t they and it not measuring up when they have tender moments of actual romantic love together in the state of being in a known relationship. I know I could have stated my point better like I’m attempting to do now, but I just felt defeated about the whole thing, because someone else told me I was just being hateful, and I got a LOT of hateful messages on my personal blog which for the most part is just my hideaway from literally everything. I use my tumblr like a reddit account most of the time, I just lurk and repost/like shit. It was really unsettling to get other messages about my personal looks and body image from my icon due to what I had meant to be a simple analytical statement. But I don’t blame the OP for that at all, in fact, there are no hard feelings one way or another with myself and them, I don’t even know who they are, and I can’t find the post in my history because of a lot of other crap (not related to that). Anyway I just wanted to say that while I do seem like an asshole sometimes, I really don’t mean to. I mostly just try to poke my analytical head in places and I’m gonna try to be better about that because I really do not want anything like what happened to happen again. Also...this is 2020, SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES BODIES. I know I’m a trainwreck but how I look is MY business, nobody else’s except maybe my doctor’s, and even then if it’s not a health concern then it’s not their business.  Anyway, I’m gonna go deal with some other entanglements that need clearing up for a while (irl shit). Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!  I know that numbers for fics are often higher a lot of the time, but dear god I feel so special right now! I went to bed feeling special too but gahhh!  I’m really glad that everyone has taken well to my first few fics on here! And I know the suggestion is going to come up at some point for ao3 so I’ll let you all know right now; I’m working on that as we speak, apparently, the wait time for registration is a few days though.  Anyway in the news that not everyone might have seen; Standing Up is going to turn into its own series, and yes I’m going to continue to keep it salty. I will say this though; I know that the discourse amongst most of the fandom is to hate on Adrien, but...I don’t like that and I won’t do that, so if you’re expecting Adrien salt from me, I’m gonna just say right now that I won’t involve myself with it. He’s my favorite character, and while it might be easier for me to use Marinette’s voice in stories, it doesn’t and won’t change the fact that he’s my favorite.  Aside from that, I will also say that I plan to write a few more songs with Hamilton musical titles without a connection to the lyrics from them, just because it’s a habit of mine to use song names of what I’m listening to for titles. I do it all the time with Persona stuff in my google drive, and I will continue to do that. 

There are also a few prompts that I really want to get into and write stuff for that I’ve seen around, but until I find their progenitor posts I won’t even begin to attempt them (out of respect for the original creators!). If anyone wants to know the specifics; Fake Ladybug AU (where Lila has a friend that pretends to be Ladybug), Wounded Gazelle AU (where Lila’s wounded gazelle act makes Adrien have his father buy her stuff to accommodate her fake injuries), and lastly Torn Sketchbook/Reversal AU (where Marinette’s sketchbook is torn and she has no feelings toward it because the class messed up and tore up the wrong one).  Anyway thank you all for following/liking my writing! Due to having just spent Valentines Day in a lovely haze of happiness, my stupid brain lost the salt in it so I had to jump to my notes!  Anyway I have updates for: Standing Up, and all of my saltfics, as well as news on some other upcoming stories, and my AO3 account. 

1) Standing Up This is the story that most of you began to follow me for, so I’ll tell you right now, until I can figure out how I want the epilogue to play out, I won’t update chapter 2, because I want it to be a weekly update thing. This does mean that Chapter 2 is updated and ready to post, but it will only come once I figure out how I want this to play out in it’s end. Sorry if this is a disappointment to some, it’s just how I prefer to do this.  2) AO3 Due to that new app that people have mentioned going around, and me finding some of my own content (Congratulations) on some paid-for things, I’ve set all of my AO3 fics to only be readable to members. Until this whole mess gets settled, I’m going to keep that stuff under surveillance like that, but that doesn’t mean that my tumblr is going to change. Things are going to remain as they are on here!  3) ASK My ask is always open. If you ever want to see something, please just hit me up, if I can do it I won’t respond until I’m ready to post, if I can’t, you’ll get a message right away denoting why I won’t be able to!  4) SALTFICS The list in my nav is all going to come to fruition at some point, so those of you waiting for it, please know that I will follow through when I can! 

5) ANGST FICS Ahahahahahahaha yeah they’re gonna come up soon. Trust me, my boyfriend keeps noting that I can’t write anything else apparently, so they’re gonna come and they’re gonna make you sad.

Questions From Shoryubug: 1) Do people generally dislike it when a story starts out normal but adds in chat-based aspects to it?

Ummm yeah?  Literally message/ask me anything, if you wanna see me write something I’ll even credit you for the idea??? It doesn’t seem like a big deal, I just don’t like the idea of charging for my writing. 

2) Why do you have so many planned stories?

A lack of self control. Literally my boyfriend and I rp together, and all of my small ideas that don’t include our characters (Marinette & Adrien respectively), or that would be too much to include in our giant story list so far, I’ll turn into fanfic ideas. I don’t even know why I’m so obsessed with Miraculous right now when my last obsession was Persona 5, which was beyond intense. 

3) Why is your stuff locked on AO3 just for registered users? 

So there’s an app out there that’s profiting from AO3′s users works, and the only way that’s known to thwart people making money off of our content is locking our stuff for only other AO3 users. Considering anyone can make an account and it’s easy I just set all of my stuff to that. I don’t like the idea of ANYONE making money off of my content. Not even myself. I don’t care if other people do it, but it’s just not something I want for myself. 

4) Will you tag me in ___? 

I have a notebook at home that has everyone who has asked me to be tagged written down in it, labeled by each story. Yes I will tag you when I make updates, but it will be under a "keep reading" tag at the end of the post as I make the upcoming chapters. All you have to do is ask, and since there's going to be a limit of 50 per story, I'll only relegate the 'post' to the first 50, and the quote/comment things to anyone else after.
