Tailypo, tailypo. I WANT MY TAILYPO!!! 👹 I first heard this creepy folktale in my elementary school music class. It was a Halloween tradition. I also came across the story in short horror collections I often read at the same time, like Short and Shivery by Robert D. San Souci (ISBN 0385264267). So of course I set off to write my own version in American Monsters.
