That is... Very much a possibility, yes — but I don't know how likely it is? On one hand I can see him being desensitized to death and bloodshed — to an extent he already is, as he has no qualms killing the non-natural Swords he finds along and who fight him, plus him fighting Zam with no merciful thought in sight; the thing is that he was approached first, the weapon-swing to try and land first wasn't his. If it comes down to him drawing first blood, he probably won't do it unless he's under strenuous circumstances (which let's be honest, are probably gonna happen. what's the fun of making a character if you won't bend them around until they either form a donut or break?)

He's vulnerable whenever he pours his heart out like that, and while vulnerability in and of itself ain't the problem, who he shows it to and the moments in which he reveals himself are. If he's learned anything over the course of these six episodes — and I sincerely both hope and believe he has — then he's gonna know when to talk and when to shut the hell up /aff
