We Changed the old batteries for new ones!!! SWIPE Pic 1 before Pic 2 after Pic 3 before Pic 4 after What a milestone, we understand all the electrical systems onboard now. We weren't very familiar with 12 volt DC, AC and solar. There was a lot of studying involved, great people -you know who you are- that helped us on the way. Especially when we were in the process of losing our rudder 😁. (Check our episode on YouTube, link in our bio) Luckily it was just the bonding that needed replacement. And the learning goes on... Next project is the engine: understanding how it works, what all the different parts are and renewing all the wires, clean the rust of and paint her. Our basic solar setup. 100watts of solar currently. 1700watt inverter. can't really run the AirConditioning off the solar setup or the mocrowave and hotwater tank, or the fridge. But the fridge and hotwater we run off propane when boondocking anyway. The AC power we use for the computers, tv, dvd, coffee grinder basiclly low powered items. The lights and most other camera and phone chargers we run off the 12v power. Future we are looking at 400watts of power and possibly later down the road lithium batteries
