Bạn có biết về đôi giày chú trọng đến sinh trắc học chân của người Việt?
Người tiêu dùng có những thói quen rất lạ. Mặc dù biết đôi giày đó chắc chắn không vừa chân mình, nhưng họ sẵn sàng mang rộng hoặc chật hơn bình thường 0.5 – 1 size chỉ vì đôi đó đẹp, đang “hot” trên thị trường. Và chắc chắn một điều rằng hơn 90% người trẻ sử dụng giày như một item không thể thiếu trong cuộc sống hằng ngày hiện nay, chẳng bao giờ quan tâm đến một đôi giày thật sự phù hợp với chân của mình. Thế hệ millenials rất lạ. Họ thích những phiên bản mang đậm dấu ấn cá nhân, thể hiện cái tôi của họ. Nhưng lại cũng chấp nhận những phiên bản đại trà, không để ý đến một đôi giày thật sự phù hợp với chân của họ.
Thế nhưng, những người làm giày ở Việt Nam lại nghĩ khác. Lê Thanh có những quan điểm lạc quan hơn, chỉ vì người trẻ chưa được tiếp cận đến những vấn đề này, nên họ chưa thực sự quan tâm đến việc may đo cá nhân. Rồi thời gian sẽ trả lời phản ứng của họ và cách tiếp nhận, sự cân nhắc của người trẻ về một đôi giày “custom-fit” vừa vặn với chân của mỗi cá nhân là như thế nào.
Những đôi giày cà phê lịch lãm với tính năng ưu việt
Từ khao khát tạo nên một thương hiệu giày dành cho người Việt, lại nhận thấy sự ra đời của các thương hiệu giày thân thiện với môi trường “ecoshoes” trên thế giới trong những chuyến đi xa của mình. Như Allbirds ở New Zealand với giày làm từ sợi lông cừu và bã mía. Bên cạnh có Giesswein của Đức có sản phẩm giày từ lông cừu và cao su phân huỷ sinh đọc. Lê Thanh đã lên ý tưởng và xây dựng quá trình biến nó thành hiện thực, anh đã ra mắt thương hiệu giày ShoeX với các phiên bản giày cà phê tiên phong tại Việt Nam.
Giày cà phê siêu nhẹ và chống thấm nước hiệu quả
Thương hiệu đã ứng dụng công nghệ sinh trắc học chân của người Việt lên các phiên bản giày cà phê của mình với nhiều năm kinh nghiệm làm giày “đo ni” Veritas Bespoke. Mong muốn mang đến những trải nghiệm sản phẩm và hỗ trợ tốt hơn cho chân của người Việt, Lê Thanh đã dành hơn 5 năm nghiên cứu và sáng tạo, phối hợp với 4 nhóm lập trình khác nhau để ra đời công nghệ Scan Fit – một ứng dụng trên điện thoại giúp bạn có thể đo được chân của mình một cách chính xác đến 99,5%. Không chỉ đầu từ vào công nghệ sinh trắc học chân, ShoeX còn mang đến những nâng cấp trong chất liệu tạo nên đôi giày, đảm bảo sự thông thoáng, êm nhẹ và khử mùi trên đôi ShoeX cà phê.
Dòng giày Tây tiên phong sử dụng ứng dụng Scan Fit được ShoeX ra mắt năm 2018 trong chương trình “Thương Vụ Bạc Tỷ” mùa II.

Final project/ Weeks 4 & 5/ End of project
Group meeting before supervision
When it was time for prototyping, our team decided to create not only one digital prototype. We wanted to have a website, where we were about to present the website of our company. The company we wanted to create was thought to be already existing, because according to our project we are in the future and not to advertise is as a new product.. Therefore, people had to know about what our company was about. The website had to allow people to see our concept and maybe more features as well. After thinking about the website, we thought of having an application as well. Because, everybody uses smartphones and similar devices everywhere, and it could be easy to regularly check the energy that is collected for each of the artifacts they had, for instance, breathing mask or portable pedals. We were planning to discuss in the supervision moving towards goal 7 (Affordable and clean energy), because we considered as more suitable for our new concept.

Supervision
We were more than prepared for the supervision, because of the feedback that we received from the last one of having no sketches and etc., this time we had more than the desk could handle. We presented the website and the app, which weren’t completely finished, but the concept was clearly understandable. It was about raising awareness or sending people a message of the amount of energy that an electric car needs and is people’s responsibility to charge their cars with the products we offered or buying energy from company that produced it the same way, totally clear. The teacher gave us guidance as being more specific in the project and presenting our concept somehow that the people that we were going to do user testing will understand it. We discussed also that we wanted to move from goal 11 to goal 7, which was approved by the teacher.
Meeting after
As the main prototype was the website, the application was more of a addition to it. We had an extra idea after we sat down to analyze the feedback we received, which was needed if we wanted to have such a concept of a company for the website. The idea was a market, where people could easily buy certain amount of energy per kilometer and our products. Only if the energy is from other companies around the world that produce renewable energy, for example, a company that has lots of people riding training bikes for energy production. We considered that not every part of the world could afford to buy energy, for example, from North America or Europe and we decided that every part of the world will be with different level of the prices. Other thing that me and my teammates wondered was about the energy that those additional items produced. Because the breathing mask could probably produce too little energy and therefore not much driving distance. Which was kind of provocative for people to buy energy.
Second supervision
We showed Peter a Mockup from the interior of our car during the supervision. There we had put only pedals related to our idea using Photoshop and recreated the screen to display the battery level and more different stuff. He immediately gave us feedback as to appearance looked fake and we have to work on it. Then we asked as well if it is okay to take the picture from Tesla, remove the logo and recreate it, which was not a problem, because it was with educational purpose. The teacher gave us feedback on the website as well, he claimed that the market section of the website is not with the proper size of the design pattern and the text that described the products should not be centered.
Working
We continued our work as dividing the work again in order to finish our digital prototypes. we had Manuel working with the editing of the photos, Liam took responsibility for continuing with the website, Mike and Felix took the app and the user testing, documentation and presentation were for me and Habib. I assisted by helping for the design of the application on Adobe XD as well. Me and Habib also tried to to a quick video prototype presenting how the concept with the shoe is working. Me, Habib and Manuel did three different group reports as me and Habib used wix.com to create it, however, we chose Manuel’s because it was on a different platform.

User testing
The first person I asked thought that the app is some kind of exercise app for losing weight, then I told him the concept and he understood what the application is for. He understood that the different activities are to charge the battery of the car, however, he didn't understand what is the green bar with the car, where is written 0.07km. When he wanted to buy more km, he thought that there are some gyms that he needed to practice there in order to charge the car or maybe charge faster.
The next person analyzed the app more precisely and understood everything in general liked the appearance, but didn't understand this green bar with the car that has 0.07km both claimed that the amount of energy produced by breathing is too small and because it is 0.01 they thought the have only 10 meters of energy the mask icon of the breathing was considered by them as some kind of pollution. The person said that we did well with adding the car on top, because it gave understanding of what the app is for, however, while taking first looks of the app it kind of confuses, because of the car, shoe, mask and pedals and the total below. Another good insight was how we chose to differ the sections one from another with colors. We did more user testing with the group as well.

The first thing we immediately changed in the app was to put the battery inside the green bar, because we understood that it confuses people, when they tried to understand the concept.

I read librarian!Sho and I loved it so I just wanna ask how did writing that feel like?
hello anon! tbh writing hard candy was frustrating because i legit had no time for it. i dedicated my saturdays (I KNOW, I KNOW) to adding words to it because my sundays were spent writing patient histories and autopsy reports. sometimes i used my long breaks between classes in editing whatever i had at the time just so i’d have less work to do.
in the end, i’m sure whatever’s on the shoexchange LJ has a ton of mistakes which i tried to fix when i reposted the ao3 version, but there’s got to be some left because i’m an unreliable person.
now i’m veering off but don’t get me wrong, writing that felt G R E A T because honestly, that first time and that mascot scene? lmao i was like “this is now the filth we have to top the next time we work on something explicit” to me. i’m competitive towards myself.
tl;dr: shoex is still one of my greatest achievements despite the med life: so much porn dedicated to my fave.

A tech-savvy population, a fast-growing economy, and the perks of being first in an emerging market -- Vietnamese entrepreneur Le Thanh saw the potential in booming Ho Chi Minh City for his start-up transforming coffee grounds into masks. The 35-year-old chemistry graduate worked for two multinationals before stepping out on his own three years ago to launch ShoeX -- a sustainable footwear company which nimbly pivoted to masks as the coronavirus pandemic struck. "But now I see there are more openings in a place where things are a bit murky," Thanh told AFP from his buzzing Ho Chi Minh City co-working space.

AirX Is “The World’s First Coffee Mask” And It Actually Looks Kinda Good?
The collateral damage in the fight against the spread of COVD-19 has been significant. But efforts to flatten the curve are creating a particularly specific problem: medical waste, specifically coming from one-time use face masks. In Wuhan, China alone, one report indicated hospitals were generating 270 tons of medical waste daily during the peak of the outbreak. With the virus now gone global and the CDC’s recommendation that everyone wear a mask, the amount of waste is only going to increase.
This has led to a cottage industry of handmade, reusable masks, many of which you have no doubt seen making their way across your social media timelines. The homemade mask thing is like this moment’s victory garden (although these are coming back, too). Bands are turning merch into masks. Curated outdoor brands are getting into the game. We even gave you a handy little guide on how to transform all that coffee swag you’ve accrued over the years into a CDC-approved facial cover. You will remember homemade masks forever.
But for those looking for something a little more stylish while staying on brand—assuming that brand is coffee—then the folks at ShoeX have just the solution for you: a reusable face mask made from coffee.
Called the AirX, the new face mask from the Vietnam via Canada-based company is touted as “the world’s first ever coffee mask” and is reusable, 100% vegan, biodegradable, and antimicrobial. It has obtained AATCC 100 certification, “the textile industry’s standard for antimicrobial fabric performance in the United States.” Per Yahoo Finance, the coffee component of the mask comes in two forms: the coffee yarn using “Powerknit technology” that comprised the mask itself as well as the biodegradable air filter insert, made with “silver nanotechnology and coffee” and meant to withstand 30 days’ use.
“AirX is not just a recommendation to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but preserve the planet as well,” states ShoeX founder Thanh Le. “The face mask deserves to have a longer life than just one-time use. Eco-friendliness, according to us, is not the only selling point of AirX because we all need to take it by default, as a proactive step towards cleaner living habits.”
To top it all off, they are actually quite smart looking, not that I don’t love my DIY-Counter-Culture-bandana-wrapped-around-a-ghastly-unbleached-Chemex-filter look. Available in five colors—white, black, grey, blue, and of course coffee brown—the AirX masks are as much accessory as they are necessity, which is all we can really hope to ask for in this topsy turvy world. And ShoeX isn’t stopping with just the AirX masks. Per Yahoo, Thanh Le unveiled their next development: the AirX N95 reusable coffee masks, which will be “launching soon to the demanding market.”
Available via ShoeX’s official website, AirX masks come in a pack of five for 445,000 VNĐ ($19 USD). Maybe it’s the stylish design or perhaps being cooped up has me itching to buy literally anything or maybe I’m just acclimating to what is going to be the new normal for the foreseeable future, but the for first time in a long time, my initial thought when I saw these masks was, “God I want that.” Maybe there’s hope for some normalcy yet.
