NANA Characters in Quarantine
I was inspired to write this since I had to go under quarantine earlier this month due to coming in close contact with a co-worker who tested positive for COVID. I returned to work this week and I’m doing just fine! If you wish for me to do this with one of the fandoms on my list, then feel free to request it!
~~Nana Osaki~~
Tumblr media
Does NOT handle quarantine well at first. Being unable to sing makes her jittery and cranky! Will literally rant and rave to anyone who listens and she’ll do that for hours!
But once she gets all of the frustration out of her system, Nana will come up with ways to make the best of the lockdown. Surprise, surprise, they’re mostly music based!
Will use this opportunity to come up with new material and has video calls every night with the band to discuss it. They’re not gonna sit around and be lazy when they could be getting creative as far as she’s concerned!
If she’s with her S/O or Ren during the quarantine, then it’ll make things much better for Nana since she’ll have someone always around to talk to and just share company with! Cuddles! Lots of cuddles! Just don’t tell anyone though.
If Nana is alone during lockdown, then her anxiety will definitely spike and she’ll have panic attacks more often. When that happens, she’ll usually call or text someone while using the paper bag method to keep herself calm.
~~Nana Komatsu~~
Tumblr media
Is pretty bummed about the lockdown but doesn’t want to complain and prefers to make the best of it instead. Will definitely be talking Nana down and off the ledge when she gets too annoyed.
Decides to make BLAST and Trapnest masks to sell online which become extremely popular much to her delight. Yes the bands approve and yes Hachi is making masks for them!
Is the most likely to gain weight during lockdown. Will look up recipes online and try them out which is the cause of said weight gain. Hachi loves food after all!
You can definitely expect to see Hachi on social media a lot and it’ll be her main way of keeping in contact with her friends and family. Livestreaming and making cooking videos will definitely keep Hachi occupied alongside her mask business!
If Hachi is with her S/O, she’ll definitely be doing many things with them and trying to make them a part of her videos which will be very cute and adorable! Awwwww!
~~Nobu Terashima~~
Tumblr media
Takes the lockdown quite well. He’s pretty introverted so being alone and isolated for a while doesn’t affect him as much as others.
Uses the free time to write songs and new material just like Nana and they call every day with new pieces and ideas.
Spends a lot of time on social media and donates to a lot of humanitarian causes, persuading fans of BLAST to do the same which always succeeds.
Will gladly fight anyone who thinks the pandemic is a hoax, is an anti-masker, or just don’t wanna obey guidelines. You’re not gonna get other people sick on Nobu’s watch!
Likes to livestream and play music for his fans whether it be covers or original material. Hachi is one of his mods and his biggest supporter.
~~Shinichi Okazaki~~
Tumblr media
The lockdown affects his living as a gigolo (if he still does it by then) so you’re damn right Shin doesn’t like it! He hates being restricted and you can expect long-winded debates between him and Nobu on how the pandemic should be handled.
If Shin has an S/O and is with them during lockdown, they can expect a lot of sex and overall intimacy! No one is surprised if Shin ends up getting said S/O pregnant. If he’s gonna be cooped up in the house for a while, then he could at least get some action out of it!
Is lazy AF during lockdown and isn’t interested in music or social media. In fact, don’t expect to hear from Shin during quarantine at all. Everyone has to initiate contact with him first and yes it pisses them off.
The only way to get Shin to do something productive is if his S/O threatens to cut him off sexually and goes through with it. He’ll do anything to get some WAP! Speaking of which, expect to see Shin dancing to music and expect to hear it playing a lot.
The only social media posts Shin will be making is photos of him and his S/O as well as getting on Nobu’s nerves. Shin gets tons of followers because of his looks but his heart is for his S/O only and he proudly displays that!
~~Yasu Takagi~~
Tumblr media
Anticipated the lockdown and went shopping beforehand. He’s always prepared.
With an S/O, Yasu will use this opportunity to get closer to them and have deep conversations that can last for hours. Also lots of cuddles and affection! Yasu’s S/O will definitely be spoiled!
Yasu will be working from home so expect to see him on his laptop a lot. He will be doing video calls frequently with BLAST and upper management at Gaia as well as his law firm if he’s still a lawyer.
Likes to binge-watch YouTube videos and browse on Reddit. He likes to interact with his favorite YouTubers and give advice on Reddit like the kind person he is. Yasu will also donate to humanitarian causes like Nobu does.
Acts as the peacemaker during arguments between Nobu and Shin. Will also calm Nana down if her anxiety flares up. Got any problems? Call Yasu! He’s always available!
~~Ren Honjo~~
Tumblr media
Gives no shits about the lockdown and is zen AF. He has to stay inside for a while? Ok!
Is mostly gonna spend the days in bed with his S/O (if they’re with him) and just wants to be close to them. Sleeping is Ren’s best friend!
If Ren is still using drugs, then he’s gonna be unbearable to be around since this means he’ll have to go through withdrawal and will have no way to get the drugs.
Will be unreachable during lockdown if he’s with his S/O. They come first as far as he’s concerned and he wants to make up for lost time with them as much as possible.
Will play music just to brush up on his guitar skills. May join Nobu on one of his livestreams every now and then and play with him as well as chat with fans.
~~Reira Serizawa~~
Tumblr media
Has the same reaction as Nana when it comes to the lockdown and has bitching sessions with her about it too. Everyone is annoyed (except Shin) and if anyone tries to interrupt, they get bombarded by Reira and Nana to the point of not being able to get a word in.
Is bored AF and literally doesn’t know what to do with her time. Calls everyone and annoys the hell out of them to the point where they block her number. Reira just wants some company! 🙁
Spends the most time on social media out of everyone and mostly sings songs for her fans. Yes she takes requests and yes she gets a lot of them. Joins Nobu on his livestream whenever Ren is present and provides the vocals for their music. It instantly goes viral as one would expect.
If Reira has an S/O, they can definitely expect her to be clingy and trying to always have their attention. If they’re working from home and have to do video chats, Reira will definitely be in the background and will bring you things if you ask. She may or may not be appropriately dressed.
Loves to listen to other musicians on Spotify and will shout them out and uplift them. If anyone sings a cover of one of Trapnest’s songs, Reira will cry with joy and happiness!
~~Takumi Ichinose~~
Tumblr media
Takes the lockdown in stride surprisingly enough. He doesn’t want to risk getting sick nor does he want his bandmates getting sick.
Decides to relax more instead of working which shocks most people. If Takumi has an S/O, he’ll want them to stay with him but if they can’t, he’ll settle for calls and texts.
Sex, sex, and more sex! His S/O will definitely be worn out unless they have a high sex drive and if they get pregnant, Takumi will be happy and expects it to happen unless you use birth control.
Likes to try new challenges and will have a YouTube channel dedicated to that. Such content includes eating a Carolina Reaper pepper, drinking very strong cocktails, and gaming-related challenges. Yes Takumi is a gamer and his rage is legendary.
Does weekly video calls with the band to make sure they’re taking care of themselves and staying safe. No one’s getting sick on his watch!
~~Naoki Fujieda~~
Tumblr media
Hates the restrictions and whines about being stuck in the house all day, everyday. He wants to have fun damn it!
Will do anything and everything to keep himself busy and if he has an S/O with him, they’ll be dragged into it too! Naoki doesn’t want you to be bored!
Will do challenges with Takumi and plays video games a lot whether it’s by himself, with his S/O, or with Takumi. His livestreams are a riot and there’s plenty of laughter to be had, especially if Takumi is present.
Likes to upload skits and rants that become quite popular due to how funny and true they are. Also gives advice to people which actually works and makes their lives better.
Always makes sure his appearance is on point and likes to promotes fashion brands, ideas, and trends. Naoki loves beautiful things so expect to see a lot of pics of just that!
~~Junko and Kyosuke~~
Tumblr media
Kyosuke takes the lockdown in stride while Junko panics. Junko ends up furloughed (she’s a salesperson) so she worries about finances.
Kyosuke comes up the idea of doing art commissions for money and it becomes a huge success. Junko decides to join in and also makes and sells masks with Hachi.
Their sex life becomes much more active during lockdown and it’s quite noticeable with how relaxed Junko is. Teasing them about this will just make Junko act like a tsundere and Kyosuke act smug.
They network with other artists worldwide and become quite involved, especially in the black community.
Kyosuke watches various livestreams while Junko sticks to services like Netflix and Hulu. Kyosuke is a mod for Hachi’s livestreams and Junko catches up on her favorite shows while live-tweeting with fellow fans of said shows and having discussions.

Missing the shinee universe guys. What kind of place do you think each couple would move into first? Who would wait until they were married or engaged first? Who would live in a condo, apartment, fixer upper home? -SLA
Ahhh, shinee universe! I had every intention of revisiting the shinee universe before I dedicated my whole life to the ever-expanding For You universe, so thank you for this question! feel free to send more!
Once Aimee and I sat down to talk about this, we pumped out our answers pretty quickly. A big chunk of the delay in answering was due to the fact that I re-read the shinee universe to get the answers canonically correct, so you should probably prepare for a novel, SLA! As always, pls feel free to tell me what you think! -Ash
It’s so weird to write these answers out of order, but I decided that it would be best to do this in the order in which the members get married!
Minho
Tumblr media
It’s already established that Minho is total husband material, so it’s probably not shocking that he’s the first in this bunch to get married
Minho and his significant other don’t move in together until wedding plans are underway
They move into a house that isn’t technically in the city, but everything is still accessible on the frequent occasion that Minho wants to take his lady out on a date
Minho encourages his fiancee to make all of the fun decisions about decorations for the wedding and for the house while he deals with what he considers “boring adult stuff”
Although he tries his best not to show it, Minho gets so stressed from all the planning that he decides within himself that he’s NEVER moving again
So he picks a house that has every feature anyone could ever need. He even thinks ahead to make room for any future children.
All in all, Minho wants to settle into comfortable domestic happiness with the person he loves. Obviously, he’ll still be fun and competitive and exciting, but he doesn’t try to prove that by moving into a new, bigger, fancier house every other year or by making constant home improvements
Plus, he’s a little too busy helping Jinki to start his own projects
Jonghyun
Tumblr media
Canonically, Jonghyun and his girlfriend live together in an apartment before they’re married
Although he is the second to get married, he wasn’t in any particular rush to propose until a few years into the relationship when his gf marries off the main characters in her newest best-selling novel
She had never written about a wedding before! Knowing that writing is where she explores her dreams, Jonghyun immediately goes into town to buy a ring after finishing the book.
(He left in such a hurry, in fact, that he left the book on the park bench. His heart dropped until he found it still sitting where he left it, guarded by a kind old lady who was feeding the birds)
He’s a pretty creative guy himself, so he doesn’t exactly copy the proposal from the novel or from any movies or dramas.
Very little changes in their daily lives after marriage since they were practically living as a married couple soon after their first hello.
The wedding rings aren’t the first matching rings Jonghyun and his girl wear to express their love, but there is something special about them that even Jonghyun can’t express in any song-- something that his wife can’t describe in any book
Onew
Tumblr media
Jinki is shook because his girlfriend brings up marriage first
His response id delayed not because he’s afraid of commitment but because, “Wow, I didn’t think I’d ever get this far in dating!”
Then, he laughs as he reminds her about their catastrophic iconic first date, and she laughs too, and somehow it’s decided that this is an adequate proposal.
Jinki still buys her an engagement ring because “She deserves it!” It’s probably blue and beautiful.
On one of his days off, Jinki gets lost in one of those home renovation marathons on tv, and decides, “I can do that!”
He realizes very quickly that he cannot do that, but he’s already bought a new house that’s in desperate need of renovations so he can’t turn back
Minho and Taemin are the only people who respond to his SOS texts. Place your bets on who steps up to build that house from the ground up!
Onew and Taemin aren’t entirely useless. Onew helps with some heavy lifting, and Taemin. . . well, he makes good playlists, and his awestruck stares fuel Minho’s superhuman strength
Onew has a distorted sense of his contribution to the construction of his house. He brags to everyone, “I built my home with my own to hands!”
And he also constantly tackles home improvement goals that would never be accomplished without Minhos help.
Taemin
Tumblr media
While Taemin is one of those “live in the moment” people, he’s also one who believes in destiny. It was never a matter of if he would get married to his girlfriend; it was a matter of when.
Never truly afraid or embarrassed, Taemin told her outright very early in their relationship, “I’ll marry you one day-- when we’re al grown up!” He meant it, and she knew it. Neither of them is rushing to grow up, though.
In the meantime, they enjoy each other’s company. They don’t technically live together, but she stays at Taemin’s apartment most of the time because his balcony provides the best sight of the moon and stars she has ever seen
Their favorite pastime is pestering his group members.
Because Minho is her brother, he is the first target. Uninvited, they invaded his kitchen one morning, knowing well that neither of them knew how to cook to save their lives. Minho would have scolded them then and there when he barrelled down the stairs in his pajamas, expecting to find a burglar, had his wife not smiled so fondly at their effort to play house
Next came Jonghyun, but he wasn’t a satisfying target for any pranky because he always welcomes Taemin and his girlfriend with open arms. He even invites them to spend the night on the pull out sofa in the living room. His hospitality sends them onto the next victim.
If anything, though, they are Jinki’s victim. When he isn’t insisting on giving them a tour of the house he built with his own two hands-- the house Taemin watched Minho build-- or forcing them to watch home renovation marathons, Jinki asks them with a broad smile, “So, when are you two gonna get married and make me a grandpa?”
Key is the only satisfying target. Taemin and his girl were able to spend an entire weekend in Key’s attic undetected!
“What’s making that noise up there?” Key’s girlfriend asked on the literal day that she moved in.
Key joked, “It’s the demon!”
Determined to prove Key wrong (or right by terrorizing everyone), Taemin stomped on the floor and screamed, “I’m not a demon!”
Suffice it to say that Taemin is lucky to see his wedding day after the beating scolding he received from Key
Key
Tumblr media
Key doesn’t really plan to get married. He’s not opposed or anything, but he would only do it after a series of serious conversations with his significant other
He’s not one to judge, but he feels like most people rush in their relationships, and he’s not really about that life. Lowkey thinks Jonghyun is a maniac for moving in with his gf just a month into dating but anyway
His house isn’t a mansion or anything, but it’s obviously too big for just one or two people. He likes to live lavishly. His bathroom is practically a personal spa.
The first time she visits, his girlfriend thinks he’s kinda weird for living in such a big place without a roommate, but she hides that behind compliments about the interior design or something.
Key is the least likely to fantasize about living with his significant other. Like, no offense, but his house is his sanctuary. He likes having his own space. Also, he’s kinda particular about his living habits(and he doesn’t really want to share any of his closet space).
Key only invites his girlfriend to live with him after they’ve been together long enough for him to decide that they can live together in harmony
This is somewhat unrelated, but I imagine that Key hired a housekeeper for a while, but he’s that kind of person who always went through the rooms to reorganize/clean things to his own (admittedly high) standard. So one day he wakes up like “What am I paying this person for?”
Key likes to complain and get under his gf’s skin, so she’s probably not counting the days until she gets to move in either tbh
They definitely 100% bicker the most out of all the couples, but that’s just how they communicate. They make up for their many petty arguments through the week with frequent ‘self-care’ nights wherein they watch dramas while wearing mud masks and sipping wine.

“Westworld III” takes several steps forward...and several steps back (REVIEW)
Tumblr media
Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy
Starring: Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Aaron Paul, Ed Harris, Vincent Cassel, Tessa Thompson, Thandie Newton
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
Season three of HBO’s “Westworld” cleans up many of the issues season two had but ultimately falls short of season one’s loftier thematic ideas.
It’s cinematically sharper, it’s about as well paced and fun as the show has ever been and that on it’s own makes it worth watching and certainly worth continuing the series going forward but for fans hoping it might have something new to say in the vein of its hyper meta-textual and thematic commentary of the first season it may leave you disappointed.
Season three may have raised the stakes of the series with its pending (and frankly, all too timely) apocalyptic vibes going on in the story but it lowers the bar on its cerebral nature opting more for fast paced thrills over anything more profound or hadn’t said already.
That said, I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it anyways for better…and worse.
Tumblr media
“Westworld” season three picks up not too long after the events of season two as Dolores has infiltrated human society and begun working on her master plan to bring it all down. She has spared Bernard, who now spends his life as butcher outside the major cities but he often wonders where she is and when this apocalypse will begin. Meanwhile a veteran named Caleb spends his life doing the same mundane tasks and mercenary work everyday to make ends meet pondering his existence as he deals with his PTSD. He decides to break the cycle however when one day he finds Dolores shot in an alleyway and joins her on her quest to start a revolution.
“Westworld” is one of the few series that hooked me immediately with its first episode.
Where some series take their time to gain momentum before going into overdrive in their season finale, season one’s “The Original” grabbed my attention from the start with a combination of mystery, action, stellar acting, and the kind of cerebral humanist story-telling I expect and want from the cyberpunk genre.
As someone with a father who talked extensively about myth, theme, and got me to listen to old Joseph Campbell essays on CD  growing up, a series that explored story-telling on a meta level with a high octane LARP concept setting was everything someone like me could ask for in a science fiction series.
youtube
(Seriously, there was some compelling analytical story-telling dialogue in this series.)
So invested I was in this tale of synthetics gaining agency and humans exploring their own personal myth-making and what it said about themselves made me a huge fan early on, proudly proclaiming it to be the best show on HBO several years ago.
I was so certain this series was creatively the best thing on television at the time that I strongly considered getting a maze tattoo like that in the show to proclaim my brand-new fandom.
But knowing there was still more seasons on the horizon, I held off thinking I should probably see this through before doing anything that brash.
Well, a few years later I feel pretty good about that decision…
Tumblr media
(Imagine how fans who named their newborns Daenerys or Khalessi feel right now...)
I remember thinking at the end of season one “Where can they possibly go from here still? Other LARP destinations in this cyberpunk world? A robot vs human war? How can the world expand?”
The problem is these thoughts did not really ask the most important question following that first season; “What more does it actually have to say?”
The first season is, in my opinion, a perfect season of television. It’s a brilliant take on the stories we tell ourselves, the choices we make that define us in our personal myths, and the exploration of our nature and how that relates to choice all while playing out this synthetic mystery plot. The entire first season pulls all these arcs and ideas together through characters like Bernard/Arnold, William/The Man in Black, and of course Dolores. They all, more or less, complete their arcs in that first season and there’s not really much needed to be said beyond that when you really think about it. If the series ended on Dolores murdering Ford and the Delos guests in the season finale that honestly would have been a perfect ambiguous ending to send the story off on.
Tumblr media
(Kind of itss own meta commentary on the journey of a fan and an ever-increasingly cynical series...)
But because this is HBO, and “Game of Thrones” is no longer the driving force of premium TV, Westworld MUST continue because it’s the new cash cow for the channel. Whether or not writer/producers Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan really knew what they wanted to do following that first season is anybody’s guess but it’s hard not to see that they have struggled a bit since that point.
Season two is a mixed bag, where the characters literally feel like they’re going in circles. Plotlines get muddled, characters become hyper versions of themselves, and while certain ideas and episodes reached similar levels of brilliance that the first season had it still lacked the narrative sharpness of the first season and that has a lot to do with the characters having mostly no other driving force besides survival and simply getting to the next physical plot point.
It just didn’t have much more to say and frankly in a story about stories that’s pretty damn important.
youtube
(This episode from season 2 is still one of its best.)
To their credit, Joy and Nolan appear to rectify quite a few issues season two had with season three. Again, it’s faster, better paced, there’s a clearer destination at the end for its characters and not to mention a pretty compelling villain for this season’s plot in Serac played by the brilliant Vincent Cassell.
But it suffers ultimately the same problem; it has nothing truly new to say.
This is not to say the season is without any meaningful messages or metaphors. It’s quite critical of our hyper surveillance and information gathering state, might even be the best depiction to date on the broader implications and consequences of a world where we all have our personal information readily online to mined and plundered by big businesses and government. Caleb, played by the always great Aaron Paul, is a good avatar for the everyman who has grown jaded and disenfranchised by this system. Though he spends most of the season looking overly shocked and gape-jawed at just about everything, it’s hard not to feel empathy and a connection to this character as we are quite literally living in a bit of a cyberpunk hell as it is these days and treated just as much as expendable commodities right now.
Tumblr media
(You fucking jackasses are arguing for the wrong things! You’re all being swindled and cheated for nothing! *photo “unrelated”*)
The season is generally best when the focus is on him, as the first episode delivers a strong start in the same way season one did.
Where the season begins to fall apart though is when quite literally the world “Westworld” inhabits begins to do so itself. Serac’s Rehobaum, which reminded me just a little too much of “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’s” Deep Thought, releasing all its data to the world and everyone discovering they’re basically all dangerous assholes is almost hilarious to me.
Though the idea of hyper data controlling our every move is a good cyberpunk metaphor to jump off of, the way this bit is executed is a little over exaggerated and clumsy.
youtube
(Though it does deliver a pretty powerful scene regardless.)
This isn’t actually a tremendous problem with season three, but it doesn’t do much to add to what we already understand about the story; which is how narrative controls us and how important choices and free will is to that. All this is already told and expanded on in the first season through Dolores, all season three does it bring it to a macro level and put that onus on the humans instead of the hosts. The hosts were already a metaphor for humanity anyways so again the story in some ways hasn’t changed much since season one.
It's interesting to have the narrative of the hosts turned on the humans but thematically it feels redundant.
I’ll add that this isn’t the worst idea they could’ve gone with, it works in moving the physical aspect of the story forward for sure, and I wouldn’t even classify it as a bad one, but again the problem is the story has largely run out of new things to tell us.
We like stories because we want to learn some truth about ourselves, whether we want it to or not, and Anthony Hopkins’ Ford makes a great point of this in season one. This has been the purpose of myths and legends since the dawn of time and it’ll be no different even when the 37th Fast & Furious comes out in 40 years. You could argue that the message of Westworld deserves repeating or that it’s not important to the entertainment value it still provides, and you might be right. But for a series like this, that is so invested in what stories mean I don’t think it’s wrong to think there should be more to it than this.
Tumblr media
(Maybe, I should’ve...)
Of course, there’s still plenty more to see out of “Westworld” for the foreseeable future as HBO won’t be canceling it anytime soon and certainly it’ll have its chance to still tackle more ideas and themes in the future but, at this point at least, it’s been less meaningful that its first season.
There are other problems too, namely Dolores constantly changing and unclear revolution plans and arcs resolved offscreen, certain side plots with other characters ultimately going nowhere, and a fairly predictable twist with Caleb, but this is the crux of the problem with the series as it stands now and the one worth mentioning the most.
Tumblr media
(And Maeve, *sigh* oh Maeve...)
That said, season three really is a lot of fun despite my issues with the narrative. The pacing, as mentioned, is great from start to finish. I was never bored or disinterested during this season, despite its flaws, and the action bits are frankly better than they’ve ever been as the series goes full cyberpunk in parts with great robot on human and robot on robot action.
The cinematography is sharp and striking too as Jonathan Nolan shows he’s definitely Christopher’s brother with some beautiful, haunting shots of the future Los Angeles city Gotham-esque skyline set to Ramin Djawadi’s excellent cyberpunk score that gives the new season a more noire-ish feel that would make Vangelis and Hans Zimmer proud.
Tumblr media
(In the future Los Angeles will be Singapore!)
The acting is still stellar of course. Though Jeffrey Wright’s Bernard is largely wasted in this season and his plot goes nowhere, his scene with Gina Torres in the finale is touching. Luke Hemsworth is dry as hell in a good way as Chief of Security turned personal buddy bodyguard to Bernard as Ashley Stubbs. Ed Harris is wicked and dastardly as always as William and of course Evan Rachel Wood is solid as the driving force of the series as Dolores.
Tumblr media
(Out of context season 3 spoiler.)
The finale doesn’t leave much to say beyond a pending machine vs human war though which has been building up since the first season anyways. While I can see some possibilities for an interesting direction here, I can’t say I’m as intrigued as even the finale to season two left me.
In some ways, season one left me not too much unlike William going into season’s two and three; looking for additional meaning in something that wasn’t looking to tell me anything deeper, at least right now. Perhaps the maze just isn’t for me anymore but moving forward I’ll be lowering my expectations.
Tumblr media
(Oh my God! Meta commentary on meta commentary! It’s meta-ception! I’m beginning to question the nature of my reality!!!)
“Westworld” remains a fun cyberpunk action series that can hold your attention span for an hour, and I think it’ll maintain that energy consistently going forward, but it might’ve been best left where it was when Dolores put a bullet in Ford’s brain.
I do hope it can regain some of its original spark at some point but until then…it doesn’t look like anything (deep) to me.
VERDICT:
3.5 out of 5

Sugarawa x Remus self-ship ‘hcs’
List of questions can be found here
I am sad and needed something to help cheer me up, so I did this.
You’re totally welcome to ship us if you’d like.
1. Where was your first date?
All of my first dates I’ve gone on were out to eat and were so boring because the energy was so awkward.  I planned all those dates, so he probably took control over this one.  We probably go on a picnic date in a park that I really like.
2. Who normally plans the dates?
Him 100%.   We were definitely friends before we started dating and he knew I’d get overwhelmed and just make napping a date
3. What type of dates would you two mostly go on? Do you guys have a “date spot” ?
We like to do pretty interactive dates, so ones where you’re not sitting in a restaurant.  Maybe going to bookstores and picking each other out a book.  Or maybe movie night but we go to a movie rental shop to get the movie, popcorn, and candy.  Our ‘date spot’ isn’t really definitive, but we probably end up going to the park the most.
4. What kind of date do you think the both of you would enjoy together the most? Why?
Interactive dates like I said above.  I know all dates are quality time with someone else, but ours kind of intensify it.  Our dates require us to be more alone together, even in a bookstore we end up back together in the end and then maybe go read at our park.  Just spending time together outside of the house and also being alone at the same time.
5. How do you think your friends would feel about them being your bf/gf/partner?
I actually asked my best friend this question because she also watches Haikyuu and she said she’d be shocked.  She’d be extremely happy for me, but shocked that I managed to actually talk to him.  My other friends would be okay with him; he and I are pretty similar, so they’d think it was a good match.
6. How do you think their friends would feel about you?
I think Daichi and Asahi would like me because we were already friends before. I’m not sure who all he stays close friends with after high school, but I doubt any of the Karasuno boys would hate me. Noya and Tanaka may be very wary of me because they obviously love and care about Sugawara.  Kageyama and Tsukishima would literally not care, because it’s not their relationship.
7. Who would most likely help the other study when they’re struggling in a class?
He would definitely have to help me.  Struggling in a class doesn’t really mean I’m bad in it but that I just can’t concentrate.  I am shit about math and science, but I could make pretty good grades if I was able to just focus on studying.  Suga would definitely help me focus though, because studying with other people always helps me.
8. How would you know them? ( ex: same homeroom, same route to school, etc.)
I’ve put so much thought into this.  It would be freshman composition 1, which means we’re freshmen in university.  I’m sitting alone, way too early to class because it’s the first day, and Sugawara decides he will sit next to me, even though there are tons of empty chairs. He decides to ask me what I’m doing on my computer because ‘you’re typing a lot’ and I tell him I’m writing. Every day he asks me to tell him a new thing about what I’m writing, and we end up pairing up for a group project and become friends.
9. What do you think your first impression of them would be?
Definitely ‘holy shit he is so pretty, why is this really beautiful guy so pretty’ and then he talks to me and I’m really trying to hold in my gay panic because ‘even his voice is pretty, I have never seen a man as pretty as this one.
10. What do you think their first impression of you would be?
Probably thinks I’m shy (I’m kind of am but not really) and thinks it’s cute how flustered I get when he starts talking to me.
11. Who’s more awkward in the relationship?
Me.  I’ve been in a lot of relationships, but they were all disasters, so I’d be pretty awkward because I’m not exactly sure on what to do.
12. Who initiates verbal affection more?
Me.  I’m not very touchy, even in relationships, and my love language is heavy on words of affirmation.
13. Who initiates physical affection more?
Suga.  I think he’s more into PDA to show his love.  We’d probably come up with a compromise, because I’ll do PDA but physical touch cause me a lot of anxiety at times.
14. Who gets more embarrassed by verbal affection?
I think we’d both get embarrassed when receiving it, but he’d also get embarrassed when saying it while I wouldn’t.  Even though verbal affection is my love language, but I still get embarrassed when receiving it (attention can make me embarrassed in general); I’m super confident at giving it.
15. Who gets more embarrassed by physical affection?
Me.  I’ve already said it can give me anxiety and that’s the main reason why I’d get embarrassed.
16. How well do you think your music tastes would mix? Would they like the music you listen to? Would you like the music they listen to?
I have absolutely no clue. Sugawara doesn’t seem like the kind of person who listens to sad music on repeat.  He’s into more of Disney and anime openings/endings.  I wouldn’t have any problems listen to what he listens to, I just hate country music.
17. Who is the one more likely to keep the other in check? ( ex: keeping up with studies, making sure the other isn’t skipping class, etc.)
He definitely always having to keep me in check.  I struggle with depression, which has made me skip 3 weeks of class before.  His way of keeping me in check would be to schedule breakfast/lunch dates on campus, so I feel like I have to go to class to tell him about my classes.
18. How similar are your personalities?
We’re pretty similar. He’s more affectionate than I am with people.  I come off as pretty aggressive and cold, but I do care about those around me.  So, we’re both fairly caring and like to help others, but we’re both extremely chaotic.  I’m pretty sure I’m more chaotic than he is.  He likes to ensue chaos amongst people while I’m the person who sits in the middle of campus at 2am and campus police have to ask if I’m okay.
19. How compatible are your mbti’s?
I’m an INTP and he’s an INFJ.  I looked up the compatibility and it says it’s pretty strong.   I’ll just believe the internet.
20. How compatible are your zodiac signs?
I think zodiac signs are really stupid, so I don’t really care about this one.  I’m a Taurus and he’s a Gemini.  I have like 3 friends who are Gemini and we get along just fine.  I think personality type is more important than zodiac sign.
21. Who would be the tattoo artist and who would be the florist?
Neither.  Sugawara is a barista at the only coffee shop that serves gluten free lemon cake near campus.  I’m the creative writing major, who is working on his huge project, that comes in every day he works.  I also definitely messed up my order the first time I saw him.
22. How big is the height difference?
           He’s 5’8” and I’m 5’1” so seven inches.
23. How would you describe your first kiss?
I’m going to let you guys in on a little secret; all first kisses suck.  Never base if you’re going to date someone because of a first kiss, because it is always awkward and lowkey sucks.  Our first kiss would be awkward, we definitely knocked noses and he had to grab my face to kiss me.  The kiss itself wasn’t bad, the entire experience was awkward though.
24. Would you confess first, or would they? How would it have gone?
Sugawara confessed first because I literally don’t know how to.  He was at my apartment studying while I was writing and I asked if I could read out some dialogue for him because I didn’t know if it was any good. He then just said “I really, really like you” and I was like “Cool, I like you too, now can I read out this dialogue?
25. Do you think they’d be good at your love language?
I have multiple love languages, I tied in all three of these; Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, and Acts of Service.  They end up tying into some of my mental illness, so they all really make sense for me.
I truly know that he would be good at my love language(s).  Spending quality time together is already a common thing for us and we tell each other we love each other all the time.  He praises me when I do good on things and just makes sure I know he loves me.  Acts of Service isn’t a love language that I am always in need of.  It’s mainly for when I become depressed to where I can’t really function like I typically do, and he helps me where he can.  When I need that type of love language, I don’t really want any words of affirmation because it causes me to feel guilty.  But him coming over (or home) and cleaning up the place before laying next to me and telling me about his day is something that would mean the world to me.
26. What do you think their love language is, and do you think you’d be good at it?
I firmly believe this man’s love language is physical touch.  I would do my best at it.  I may not do it all the time, but there would be times I would just know to do it because he needed it and that’s all that matters to me.  Over time I think I’d get better at it, but it could take years for me to get to a point where I was ‘good’ at it.
27. Why do you think they fell for you?
I don’t 100% know.  I know we’d be good friends, but something probably happened to make him realize he liked/loved me.  It was probably something of he was sad and texted me he couldn’t come over, but I ended up at his doorstep with his favorite food and his favorite chick flic saying that we were going to have the best night ever.
28. Why do you think you’d fall for them?
I fall extremely fast in relationships, it’s really sad to be honest.  He would make me laugh and happy.  Suga would definitely be supportive when I come out to him and told me he’d never see me differently no matter if I was trans or not.  Him being so accepting would probably make me fall in love with him.
29.  Are there any songs that remind you of your self-ship?
Please Notice (Christian Leave), Into You (Ariana Grande), Lethal Combination (The Wombats), Enchanted (Taylor Swift), Dazed & Confused (Ruel), Sucker (Jonas Brothers), Come Back…Be Here (Taylor Swift)
 30. Are there any cliché tropes that apply to your self-ship?
Friends to lovers is the only one I know of.  I don’t know a lot about cliché tropes.
31.  Who would prefer cooking? Cleaning? Baking? None of the above?
Sugawara would prefer cooking while I prefer baking.  Cleaning would just be something we do together because we both have certain ways we clean things and have to work together on.
32. Who takes really aesthetic, elegant photos of the other?
We take turns in a way, but mainly me.  I hate getting my photo taken, so I’m taking majority of the photos.  He takes really elegant photos of me when I’m not paying attention though.
33. Who takes very unexpected, unflattering photos of the other?
Both.  We’ve made it into a competition of who can get the worst one.  I’m winning with the high quality people where I’m sitting on his seat, my eyes/forehead in the photo, while he looks atrocious because of the angle.
34. How would your (future?) careers work together? Would your schedules clash, or sync well?
I truly hate this question, because I don’t know what career I’m going to have.  I’d love to work in a publishing house, so we’ll go with that one.  Sugawara is an elementary school teacher, as you may already know because of time skip. Our schedules alignment would change pretty regularly depending on the project I have, but I’m always home to tell him to go to sleep and he can finish grading papers in the morning.  He refuses my help on grading because he says I’d be too intense on third graders.
35. Who would suck at games?
I’m assuming this means videogames and I straight up just don’t play any video games.  I’m pretty good at board games (besides Monopoly because I’ve never played it) and would destroy him at Clue.
 36. Who would let the other win at games?
Neither.  We’re both pretty competitive.  He gets pissed because I keep winning at board games when I barely even pay attention to the game though.
37. Who is messier?
Me.  I’m the kind of person that has a clean room before I wake up and suddenly it’s destroyed because I got ready.
38. Who would propose? Would either of you want marriage in the future?
Sugawara would 100% want to get married, but I’m pretty hesitant because of my past relationships and just view on marriage as a whole.  I’d most likely marry him, but that would be a huge talk.  He’d also be the one to propose and it was a huge proposal where we literally go to Disney World to do it.  I later tell him that he could’ve asked me while we were watching Bones and I would’ve said yes.
39. Where would your dream vacation be with your self-ship? What would you guys do?
Disney World and Universal Studios.  I want to live out my dream of getting the photographers of me kissing my boyfriend at Disney World and buying Hogwarts stuff at Universal.  He’s 100% a Slytherin and I’m a Hufflepuff with Slytherin tendencies, aka best pairing.
40. What are traits you have that would annoy/upset them?
I’m severely pessimistic and lazy.  Being lazy would annoy him, but I imagine that my pessimism would eventually piss him off.
41. What are traits they have that would annoy/upset you?
I don’t really know. He seems to be the kind of person that just does everything constantly, and it would annoy me.  He doesn’t know how to take a break and relax, which I do way too much of but that’s because I do a lot of stuff at once and then I relax for however long I can.  Suga doesn’t know how to do that though.  It would just be annoying; it wouldn’t upset me.
42. How often would you guys probably fight? What would they normally be about? Would they be big or small?
I don’t think we’d fight that much, but that’s because I ever get upset enough to actually fight. Sometimes I yell and tell people to actually listen, but that’s the extent of my typical anger.  Our fights would probably revolve around unhealthy habits. Probably tells me to stop being pessimistic and I try to explain it’s not that simple, and soon enough there’s a fight.  He definitely starts them because I think he’s so much more open about everything he feels compared to me.  We never insult each other or anything though, even if it’s a nasty fight.  The worst it has come down to was “I don’t want to see your face right now, I’m leaving” and I end up sleeping at a friend’s house.  The next day we calmly talk through it and the fight is done.
43. Who would probably get sick more often? Who would baby the other when sick? Who acts like they’re dying when they get a stuffy nose?
He definitely gets actually sick more than I do because my immune system is really good.  I tend to not feel good when I’m depressed, I have actually ran a fever because of it, but I’m not actually sick.  I don’t baby him at all.  My mother is a nurse and the most I was babied was when I was really young and had a severe case of the flu, besides that she sets out medications and tells us to drink water and sleep.  I would buy him soup (I have caught soup on fire before) and really cover him with blankets to make sure his fever goes down.  I act like I’m dying when I get a stuffy nose though and he just asks my mom want to get and buys it for me.
44. Who has the worst patience? Does the other balance this out?
I have the worst patience out of everyone I know, except my mother (where I got having no patience from). Sugawara has a lot more patience than I do because of being in volleyball and has to constantly tell me that we will get to the counter eventually when I complain that the line is way too slow and my version of Hell is waiting in a line.
45. Which one suggests trips to stores at 3am?
Me. No one is there that late, so it’s the perfect time to go.
46. Who is a morning person? Who is a night person?
He’s a morning person and I’m a night person.
47. Out of the two of you, who would be the one to kill / get rid of the spider?
Me. Spiders don’t bother at all.
48. Who reminds the other of things? ( ex: appointments, tests, etc.)
Sugawara has to remind me of everything.  I am overly forgetful and he tells me the night before as well as text me before the appointment.  He thought in the beginning of the relationship that getting calls the day before my appointment would truly remind me, but they don’t.  I forget what floor my doctor’s office is on and I’ve been going there for years, so remembering appointments is just extremely hard for me.
49. What is the pace of the relationship? ( ex: started dating after a few weeks, takes months/years, act couple like right off the bat, need time, etc?)
I’m not sure if I fully understand this, but he and I were friends for probably months before we started dating.  I may have liked him longer, but I’m used to guys not liking me back.  He probably liked me for a month and then awkwardly confessed.  We immediately started acting a couple once we started dating though.
50. Who said the first “ I love you”? Was it immediately reciprocated, or did the other person wait?
He said it first.  It slipped out when he was lying next to me on one of my bad days and was like “I just love you so much.”  He didn’t even freeze, at all, and I was pretty quiet because I wasn’t in the mood for talking to begin with.  I said it later when he brought me food, and he almost broke a plate in shock.

From Facebook Flop to Real Estate Lead Success Using Facebook Split Testing [+7 Ad Campaigns You Can Steal NOW]
http://ift.tt/2nsB0SU
In this article, you’ll learn what split testing is, how to get started, and get 7 ad campaigns you can steal and start split testing on Facebook for real estate leads today!
We coach hundreds of real estate agents every month on how to generate leads online using LeadSites paired up with Facebook advertising.
A lot of agents are having incredible success. Facebook is quickly replacing old-school techniques like cold calling as the BEST way to generate real estate leads.
So what are agent who are successful on Facebook doing that that other agents who are struggling are not?
The short answer is…
Facebook Split Testing!
If you’re running ONE ad — waiting to see what happens — then stopping…
You’re doing real estate Facebook advertising wrong!
See, to find a monster success of an ad, you have to run a LOT of ads to find out quickly what doesn’t work, what does work, and why.
What Is Split Testing?
Split testing is where you create multiple ads that are identical except for one variable.
For example you might run an identical ad to three different audiences.
In this case, you are testing which audience will be the best target market for this particular ad.
You might discover through this split test that 30-40 year olds respond 15% better to that particular ad.
That’s good information to know. It will help you get more out of your ad dollars going forward.
So let’s get to it.
In this article, you’re going to learn how to quickly and effectively split test ads on Facebook.
1. How To Set Up Facebook Split Testing For Real Estate (3 Easy Ways)!
There are a few ways to set up a Facebook split test. You can:
Set Up Split Test Ads Manually on Facebook
Create the ad you’d like to run. Then use the edit link to duplicate the ad, like this:
Once the ad is duplicated, hit “Edit Ad Set,” like this:
And change ONE VARIABLE in the duplicate.
Only one.
Here’s why:
If you change more than one thing and get a noticeable difference in results, you won’t know what actually caused the increased performance.
Now… Setting up split tests manually is a great way to get started, but it’s not scalable.
If you start running a lot of ads and split tests at once (which I highly recommend you do — the more ads you test, the faster you’ll find a big winner), they can become difficult to manage (more on this below).
Use Facebook’s Built-In Split Testing
Facebook now offers a built-in split test function. This is a great tool because Facebook does things automatically like randomizing your audience to make sure there is now overlap between the two audiences.
But there’s a catch…
Facebook will only let you run split tests this way if you’re willing to spend an amount of money and time that (they say) “will help ensure sufficient data to confidently determine a test winner.”
What this translates to is:
You must run your ads for 3-14 days and you must spend a minimum of $800 ($400 per ad).
If you have the advertising budget to do this, Facebook isn’t wrong. You will get better data if you spend enough to test your ads with a large audience.
BUT — Spending $800 every time you want to test an ad isn’t always realistic, especially for real estate agents who are just starting out.
If that’s you, either set up your split tests manually or use a service like Adespresso.
Sign Up For Adespresso
Adespresso is a service that allows you to split test thousands of ads quickly, easily, and inexpensively. It will let you test different ad images, different ad headlines, and different audiences with just a few clicks.
We use this service here at Easy Agent Pro for all of our Facebook ads (and they’re not paying us to endorse them in this post).
Here’s the catch: It costs $49 per month, so it’s an additional monthly expense.
But compare that to spending $800 every time you want to run split tests directly through Facebook… And $49 seems like a steal.
And the fact is…
If you’re serious about succeeding on Facebook, then you’ll need to eventually get serious about split testing your ads and constantly looking for your next big winner.
If that’s you, a service like Adespresso is a necessary part of marketing yourself effectively with Facebook ads.
2. Start Split Testing On Facebook For Real Estate (Test These 3 Things)!
Whether you’ve decided to set up a test manually, use Facebook’s split testing function, or sign up for Adespresso, it’s time to run your first real estate Facebook split test.
To do this, you’ll first want to pick a variable to test. Then, set up ads that are identical in every way except for that one variable.
There are three main variables you can experiment with:
Audiences
When split testing audiences, you’ll want to duplicate your ad and set it up to go to different audiences.
Use the EXACT same image, headline, and text.
That’s the only way you’ll truly know that the audience was more responsive to the ad (instead of them responding to a more interesting image or more persuasive headline.)
Experiment with running the same ad to different age ranges, income levels, or interests. You can also use different lists from your own business to test different lookalike audiences (an e-mail newsletter list vs. actual clients who have done business with you, for example).
Images
You can also test the creative elements of your ad. In this case, you’ll want to use the same audience for each ad, the same text and headline, but run ads with different images.
Be sure to try images that are actually different. That might sound obvious…
But you’d be surprised how many agents “split test” ads using three similar images of houses.
Instead, create a variety of ads. Use an image of a house for one, and then then try other things like an image of you (the agent), or an image of a happy couple buying a house. People like pictures of people.
Also, don’t be afraid to try something out of the box.
Some the best ads we’ve run on Facebook have used shocking images that were totally unexpected and attention-getting. (You can find images like that here. They are FREE to use for your ads!)
The bottom line is: You don’t know what works until you test it. With images in particular, you will be surprised at what gets the most clicks on Facebook.
Copy
To split test copy (the words of an ad), you’ll use the same audience and image, but change the “Headline” and “Text” portions of the ad. (If you want to get truly scientific, you can use the same headline and split test the text, or vice versa.)
It’s an advertising axiom that the headline and text of an ad can impact over 70% of an ad’s effectiveness. That’s definitely true on Facebook.
Short vs. Long Copy
This question has been around as long as advertising has existed. Professional copywriter Neville Medhora gives a memorable (and slightly politically incorrect) rule of thumb for this:
“Copy is like a woman’s skirt. It should be long enough to cover the essentials, but short enough to keep it interesting.”
There are really two answers to the “long vs short” question:
You should say what’s essential and necessary without being boring. If you can say it in a short space, do it. But if your text needs to be a little longer to get your point across, then make your copy a little longer.
“Shorter is always better” isn’t always right. If you’re selling an expensive product that requires a lot of information and consideration to make a decision (like a house), sometimes a little more information is the right choice… As long as it’s interesting.
Ultimately, the answer is: SPLIT TEST.
Run two ads to the same audience, using the same image, but use longer text on one and shorter on the other.
See what happens.
Because even though most people preach “Shorter Is Better,” there’s always an exception. Like this successful ad that generated seller leads:
The point is, split testing lets you know what works for you. Instead of guessing or blindly following the advice of others, spend a few bucks and find out for yourself.
3. Optimize The WINNERS Of Your Split Testing On Facebook For Real Estate
Once you run multiple split tests, you’re going to discover that certain ads work better for you than others.
Once you find those ads that work pretty good… Make them great!
You do this by cutting the spending on the dead ads that did nothing, and investing that money on new split tests of the ads that work.
For example, if you created an ad that generated some buyer leads, you might take the text and image that worked and test it with new audiences. Or use the same audience, but run a variety of images and text to see if you can get an even better response.
Split testing is all about adapting a “beat the high score” mentality.
4. Steal These Facebook Ads NOW to Start Split Testing on Facebook for Real Estate
The fastest way to find ads that work for you is to start with ads that have worked for others and split test those to find the version of those ads that work for you.
Another agent’s ad and strategy might work for you just copied and pasted.
If it does? Great! You should still split test against that ad to see if you can improve it.
But if it doesn’t? Don’t be surprised. Most of the time, ads take at least some amount of adaptation and personalization to your unique business and market.
Think of an ad idea like a seed.
You can start with the same seed as someone else. But once you plant that seed in your own soil, with your unique weather and temperatures, all bets are off.
Identical seeds planted in New Mexico and Michigan will not grow the same because other variables come into play.
That doesn’t mean that seed “doesn’t work” for you.
It just means how you cultivate that particular plant has to adapt and evolve according to your unique environment.
Your market’s a little different and your clients want slightly different things.
You’re working with different price points and inventory levels.
It’s up to you to take the seed and figure out how to grow it in your market.
Having said that, here are some seeds you can plant TODAY:
1. Single-story homes to people over 60
Try running an ad that invites an over 60 audience to down-size and stop climbing stairs.
Offer an exclusive list of single story homes.
Run this ad to variations of the “over 60” audience, including a lookalike of those who have done business with you in the past, people over 60 who are likely to move, or people over 60 of a certain household income.
youtube
  2. Foreclosures
Try offering an exclusive list of the foreclosures in your area. This works well for attracting both investors who want to partner with an agent and buyers looking for a deal.
These ads work with varying degrees of success, depending on your market and what types of properties you focus on. Try variations of this ad including:
Selling foreclosures as a “deal” to first-time buyers.
Foreclosures as an investment to more affluent people interested in real estate.
Foreclosures as a fixer-upper opportunity to people interested in DIY home improvement.
youtube
  3. Seasonal Information
Try offering seasonal information about your community that people opt-in to receive. Here is a great example:
youtube
This technique generates a large volume of opt-ins, but most of them will be lower quality leads (meaning they’re likely not ready to buy and sell in the near future).
This is still worthwhile because it allows you to create lists of hundreds of people and begin building relationships with them for the long-term. Put these people into drip campaigns that build trust over time.
Below are a few ideas for easy, list-building wins. Create a landing page where people can give you their name and email in exchange for this information:
Top 10 brunch spots for Easter Sunday
5 Best Pubs to Toast St. Paddy
The 7 Best Viewing Spots In The City For 4th of July Fireworks
The 3 Best Places To Eat Thanksgiving Dinner If You Hate Cooking
The Top 5 Haunted Houses In The City
Create offers for free community information, and split test different audiences and creative elements to see what works best for you!
4. Run an Ad for a Specific Property
You can use both SEO and paid Facebook ads to feature and sell specific properties. Like this:
youtube
An easy way to get started advertising a specific property is to ask: “Who would LOVE this home?”
Come up with different interest groups that might love that specific home and split test different audiences.
5. Get Traffic to Your IDX Pages
While many of the other advertisements mentioned here require landing pages, this strategy involves sending people straight to a list of homes on your website, and then forcing registration with your IDX.
youtube
For this, you’ll create an ad that goes to an IDX list like “4 bedroom homes under $400,000.”
Split test different audiences including those who are likely to move, those who show in interest in parenting and family topics (Target those with growing families! They have a high urgency to get more space now).
6. Guides For Home Buyers or Sellers
One of the tried and true methods for lead generation is to offer a free guide for either home buyers or sellers.
youtube
Buyer and Seller guides are used by a lot of agents. Split test a variety of headlines and images that give this offer a fresh spin.
7. Create Ads That Target Specific Interests
Here’s an example of an agent who targeted people interested in fishing for riverfront property.
youtube
Split test ads to a few different target interests and see which works best for you and your offer.
What are you waiting for?
Pick an ad you want to try but don’t stop there!
Do what the Facebook advertising pros do!
Split test a wide variety of ads and…
Let us know when you find your next monster success!
