translation theory is making me want to die
#just temporarily#why do some academics forget students might read their shit and proceed to use specific terminology without explaining it#and use that terminology throughout a 30-page paper or an entire book expecting us to understand#shocker: we dont! and the interwebs is surprisingly NOT USEFUL! :D#i just want like. 3 ppl. 3 theorists i can recurringly use for my diss. so i can write a fuckin commentary#and send it to my supervisor for feedback. THIS WEEK. my god i need about 3000 words of commentary to send her#and i currently have 100#AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH#i have sat at my laptop for 20 hours this week. and feel like im getting nowhere :l#helia's ma adventure
