oh, now i'm curious about why you feel like the way bojan is written in bojere fics doesn't work for you. i'm kinda picky with fics so maybe i just haven't noticed anything wrong with it

it’s just my personal preference!! but I’ve talked to him three times and each time he’s been cocky-ish, like i love him to death and i love that he’s a little bitch sometimes but somehow i just can’t really believe this could work romantically with jere because he’s also a lil bitch, but that’s only seriously my personal approach and problem shjdjddj 🩷🩷 after meeting them both i just can’t really imagine them being a couple even in fanfics

can you tell us your drwing process?

ahsjskh i'll try my best! :')) here is a (lq) process gif + i added some explanations of each step under the cut ~

(i use procreate btw!)

1. initial sketch ofc! usually i start out no thoughts head empty. i just draw a circle and go from there lol 😭 so there's a 50/50 chance of whether it'll actually turn into smth i like

2. basic line art (i use a free brush i downloaded called "georg's procreate brush 1". however i did edit the settings a little so i'm not sure how similar it is to the original brush ahdjksksj im a mess)

3. flat colors + i also color in the "inside lines" of my line art if that makes sense? so instead of all the lines being black some are just a darker shade of whichever area it corresponds to (for example the line separating katara's chin and neck - it's not black but dark brown)

4. basic shading (for shadows i set the layer to "multiply" usually around 20-30% opacity, and for highlights i use "add" or "screen" at the same opacity)

5. blend mode layers (hsjdhs this is kinda complicated to explain,,, so here are screenshots:

the first one is a gradient i set to "add" to add a light source and the second is just a flat color (can be any color u see fit) set to "hue" to make the color palette more cohesive. i don't always stick with these specific blend modes but they are my go-to ones!)

6. and finally background! most of the time i'm lazy so i just use some flat color that matches hahaha. if i do decide to draw an actual background though i just follow the above steps but for the objects/scenery i want to include

so yep that's it :') as u can see it's pretty basic lol but it i hope it gives u some ideas maybe! and feel free to ask any follow up questions bc im sure i was prob unclear at some point hahaha
