The woman sharply inhaled, her face flushing bright red and the smallest sigh slipping from her. This was like a dream come true, the way his hands touched her. However, it was the nibbling at her ear that sent her over the edge. Sumire looked up at Bang, a half-lidded gaze; filled with lust and a tinge of adoration. He had managed to drag another side of her to the surface, one that she wasn't particularly in touch with. Upon seeing that blush that decorated his cheeks, her gaze softened and she smiled playfully. The kunoichi hesitated slightly, giving a nod. It was unspoken permission for Bang to continue and remove the shirt.  Both of her own hands found their way to his shoulders, lightly dragging her nails down his back and gliding her hands up his sides; going back to the beginning in a smooth trail.  The kunoichi pressed her own kisses to his neck, focusing there for the moment as she pulled her lips back slightly and revealed her teeth, dragging them gently across his skin and nipping here and there.
時のはずみの { Toki no Hazumi no }
Feeling Sumire’s own hands and lips upon his body only drove him further into the moment. A shiver went down his spine at her touch, and he let out a content sigh as she peppered his neck with kisses, returning his favor from before. Not to be outdone, and wanting her to enjoy this even more, Bang’s hands trailed downwards, gently squeezing her rear-end as he nibbled on her ear. Kneading small circles with his hands, Bang enjoyed the firmness she boasted there, and trailed his hands up and under her shirt, tracing up and down her bare spine. He started to push her shirt further up, which began to expose her undergarment. The sight of it flushed his cheeks red, and he gently gripped the bottom of her pushed-up shirt, holding onto it for a moment as if awaiting permission to remove it.

☼ for a promise
"I promise that I will always be yours, no matter what." The kunoichi smiled softly, closing her eye and lowering her head, a small smile on her lips.

❅ (christmas thing)
"I don’t suppose that I could say ‘myself’, could I?" The woman asked, teasingly. A giggle poured from her lips as she laced her fingers together, brow raised at Bang. "Likely, I’ll get you whatever you ask me for… I can’t come up with something that you do not already possess…" She sounded slightly disappointed, to be honest. The kunoichi really had wanted to surprise him.

She lowered herself, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Master, you are neither old nor a fool." Her first words were not the ones she had initially intended, but the cogs in her head were turning as she processed what she had just heard from him, her one good eye stinging, tears threatening to run down her face. The kunoichi breathed slowly, calming herself before she began chewing at her lower lip.  "If anything, I was the fool. I hid myself away, disgraced with myself and what had become of me. I believed that you would be better off, under the illusion I was no longer alive... I didn't want you to see what had happened to me because causing you guilt was the last thing I wanted to do..."  The woman began to reach toward him, silky brown waves blowing into her face before retreating. She shook her head, knocking the brunette locks from her face, allowing him to see both her eye and the patch that covered the scar and the void where her right eye should have been. Her heart felt as if it had shattered into a billion pieces, the shards of her heart scattering too far to be retrieved. The woman felt broken, seeing what she had done to the man she held in such high regard and looked up to.... That look in his eyes when the liquid gold met her own evergreen was absolutely heart rending... But she couldn't tear herself away now, her gaze glittering as she looked at him, delicate hands easing his chin up so he'd look at her. "I'm so very sorry, Master..."  It was difficult to speak to him, her own guilt getting the best of her; hesitation before every action. "You wouldn't have found me... I wouldn't have allowed it, even if I knew you were pursuing me. Don't blame yourself for what happened. It was fate and it wasn't going to be any other way." The kunoichi couldn't hold back any longer, the tears overflowing and trailing down her cheek. She lowered her gaze, unable to bring herself to look at him. Now it was her turn to blame herself.  "In fact, if anyone should feel bad about what happened, or blame themselves for anything... It should be me. I wasn't there when you and Lord Tenjou needed me. I wasn't there and he died." Sumi was doing her best not to choke on her tears, attempting to be brave. "You got hurt because I was a coward. Because I was a stupid, young girl who was in over her head. I don't know what I was trying to accomplish... I was useless and I still am!" She coughed, getting her whimpering under control. "It's all my fault... It's my fault Tenjou is dead and you're hurt... That's something I cannot forgive myself for.... I sat in that hospital, hating myself. Regretting everything. Despising the world because I had failed the only person who had put faith in me... I left your side because I didn't belong there. I still don't belong at your side, let alone in Ronin-Gai. However, I won't stop you if you wish to make up lost time..." Her voice cracked, tone becoming a whisper as she finally snapped, falling to her own knees and pounding her fists on the ground, her whole body trembling and choked sobs escaping her, head lowered. She was a broken girl and there was no more hiding it. The man knew too much and he had called her out, forcing her into the light. Now, Bang got to see the kunoichi, a broken woman torn by the worst the Ikaruga War had to offer, both mentally and physically.
[ Fateful Meeting ]
As Sumire took his hand, Bang bounded up to a nearby rooftop with her, and began navigating the heights of Ronin-gai. He was silent, not wanting to speak until they arrived to their destination. He also needed to collect his thoughts… How would he approach the matter..? What would he say, what would he ask? How would she react..? Bang cast his gaze downwards for a moment before shaking his head and continuing on his way.
In just a few minutes’ time, Bang arrived to his destination; the tallest rooftop in Ronin-gai, boasting a marvelous view of the city below. The sun shined brightly in the sky, and the winds brought about by the high altitude were soothing in a way, and his scarf blew lazily about, adding a sense of serenity to his demeanor. The entire scene was almost romantic…
Bang finally released Sumire’s hand, and walked forward to the edge of the rooftop, gazing out across the refuge he helped build with his own two hands. He folded his arms, and, without turning to face Sumire, he finally spoke.

..I do not know where exactly to start, so I will simply follow my gut!! Young Sumire… I can’t explain how, and I can’t explain why, but… I was taken on a journey through your past, witnessing some of the memories you held before coming under my service, as well as memories of.. that war… You were gravely injured in combat, and presumed dead, but, in truth, you went into hiding, concealing yourself just below my nose as I helped to build this new home for our people… And I only have one question…
Bang finally turned towards the kunoichi, his expression one of concern and care.
Why?
One of the simplest questions in existence… and one of the most profound. Bang lowered his gaze slightly, seemingly hurt
I did search for you… But you hid yourself away… Why did you not return to my side..?! I feared the worst, and, until I met you again recently, I believed it to be true…! In fact, I may have even forgotten about you… because I felt guilty. I gave up on you too soon… I should have tried harder to find you after the war, after you went missing…!
Bang rose his gaze again, willing himself to look into Sumire’s eyes. His own eyes were glistening, moisture building in them
I… I neglected you… and I have continued to neglect you… and that is perhaps the most grievous mistake I have ever made… If I found you then, perhaps you would be happier now… But… I am dedicated to making up for that lost time..! But… only if you will allow me…
Descending onto his knees, Bang bowed low to the ground before Sumire, a shocking move for someone who is supposed to be her superior. Without looking up at her, he spoke
Can you forgive this scruffy old fool..?

"Don't Chase the Rabbit" ((I'm in the mood for some serious Ikaruga feels X3 ))
The girl held tightly to her brother’s hand, standing over the figure covered with a sheet and slowly breathing. "Nii-san…?" The teenager’s voice cracked, tears trailing down her cheeks as she looked at the man before them, chest heaving. It was clear that they were struggling to breathe…
"What is it, Mimi-chan?" The boy asked, looking at the girl and furrowing his brow. "Why did dad have to d-do…. do this?" She wiped her tears from her eyes with the sleeve of her kimono, hiccoughing. "Because he was protecting us…" The boy was barely keeping a level head, but he felt that he had to… He was the eldest, so it was his job right?"Now it’s our turn to protect him." She turned away before her brother could speak again, headed off with a newfound determination in her eyes. Whether her family or clan wished forbid it or not, she didn’t care. She was going to use the Sealed Weapon she had been trained her whole life to protect…

Bare feet pattered on wooden boards as the woman ran along, laughing and tossing a ball to one of the kids that were playing. She didn't get to spend time like this very often, but when she did... Man, did it feel good. It made her feel wonderful to hear words of encouragement and compliments from the young kids that lived in Ronin-Gai.
She brushed her brown hair from her eyes and laughed, her face brighter than it usually was. "Go long, guys!" She called, stepping back to throw the ball, but she squeaked upon bumping into something... Or someone. She passed the ball to one of the kids, turning to face the figure behind her.  A small gasp slipped from her as she bowed low, straightening up and looking at Bang, her good green eye examining him. He was just as she remembered him. The kunoichi doubted that he'd remember her after so long... The odds were against that. She instinctively reached up to adjust her eyepatch, remembering that she wasn't wearing it. She never did when she was out and about, not intending to be away from home for long... She hoped he wouldn't comment on her eye... She brushed her hair with her hand, adjusting it and covering her bad eye.
"Good day." She hummed, attempting pleasant conversation and a smile. "Pardon me for running into you..." She added, glancing at the kids out of the corner of her eye.
