Happy December everyone! Some smol updates:
Due to the EU GPSR law which will come into effect on Dec 13th, I can no longer ship to EU countries + Northern Ireland until further notice 🥲 I'm hoping that there will be a regulation review and clearer guidelines for this so I can ship to EU again in the near future! If you're located in EU and still want to place an order, please do so before Friday Dec 6th 8 AM GMT+7 🙇🏻♀️
My shop will be closed for holiday on Thursday, Dec 12nd 8PM EST (Friday, Dec 13th 8 AM GMT+7) and will open again in the new year 🎆🎉
I opened a Tiktok account and probably will upload some process videos or old doodles there (my slowpoke brain is still trying to get used to the platform)

my biggest pain as a european citizen is the fact that like 75% of cool merch made by small creators is from the US and therefore unsupportable

#thats canadian dollars with shipping included 😎#almost paid like $80 for one at comic con last year#and then almost paid $60 for one on ebay last week#but i was like. nah. i bet i can get a better price if i wait#and i DID >:)#tbh it was mostly a matter of waiting until someone outside the USA put one up on ebay for a good price#for some reason shipping from the states is stupid expensive and shipping from the uk or eu is stupid cheap#so even if the list price is similar/more it works out better for me#unscientific aside

Prayer circle I may have found a new source for the only shampoo and conditioner that have ever worked for my hair
#I’ve been using it for almost 20 years#it started as $5 at Target#then I had to import it from Canada for $8#then it was on Amazon for $12 and clearly coming from the EU#then when I went to reorder it last month they were charging $25 to import it from the UK#but I just found a site based in Ireland where it’s $6.80#I had to buy 4 each shampoo and conditioner to get free shipping#but if it works I will have four of each for only $4 more than Amazon was going to charge me for 1 of each

#I know there are tags that you can customize#but they're always from outside the eu so shipping and customs and whatnot gets so expensive#there are limits to how much i want to spend on a goddamn tag#but I'd really like a button tbh#with a customized text#much easier to sew on a knitted garment than a tag#need to explore this option more

drawing tablet recommendations?
I'll take literally anything
I don't know much about tablets tbh, so what I usually do is look for youtube videos or articles that compare different models to each other ! :D seeing them compared directly helps me figured out what kind of functions are was most important to me and what I'm willing or unwilling to pay extra for...
that being said I have a Huion Kamvas 16 right now and am super happy with it! a screen tablet was a dream of mine for like 10 years so I'm still a bit amazed I own one... Although.. I struggled a Lot getting used to it and I sometimes miss my older no-screen Wacoms since they were easy to bring around and I'd gotten so used to seeing the full screen without my hand blocking anything.
I know it's not rly a proper recommendation but I think what I'm getting at is there's not necessarily any reason to go for big or expensive, esp for a first tablet! and that in my experience there's always someone on youtube who has The Answer I'm looking for even if it takes a bit of searching...
