Name: Vialethe

Fandoms: Currently writing, just Narnia and ASoIaF/Game of Thrones. I’ve also done a lot of Firefly, Greek Mythology, some MCU, LotR/Silm, and several smaller fandoms.

Where You Post: AO3, pretty much exclusively. Sometimes I might link here, and I keep an updated fic list on Dreamwidth.

Most Popular One-Shot: By kudos, Maybe It Will All Come Back to Me, which is a not-very-porny Jon/Arya fic I wrote ages ago for Porn Battle. I think it was one of like, ten Jon/Arya fics on AO3 for a very long time, which probably accounts for its popularity.

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: No Power in the Verse, a Firefly Mal/River fic that’s the reason I started writing fic in the first place. I don’t write much multi-chapter fic.

Favorite Story You Wrote: The World That’s on the Other Side, another Mal/River fic, specifically a time-travel AU one. I wrote the opening paragraphs as a potential Fandom Stocking gift before I gave up on it, then came back and finished it all at once several years later. Love it when that happens.

Story You Were Nervous to Post: Run If You Stole a Shard of Sunlight, because it was exchange fic for @thatgirlnevershutsup and I was so afraid of disappointing her! Apparently it turned out okay, though.

How You Choose Your Titles: They’re almost all song lyrics. Otherwise just a (hopefully) evocative or clever phrase that sums up the theme or mood of the story.

Do You Outline: If I’m writing something that’s long and/or plotty, yes. Usually I have most of a story laid out in my head before I start to write - otherwise I’d never start at all - so I write the basic beats down so I don’t forget.

Complete: I have 98 pieces posted on AO3 and probably 40 or so snippets and ficlets that aren’t. Most of my stuff is really short, though.

In Progress: Actively, nothing.

Coming Soon/Not Yet Started: I’m kicking around an idea for a sequel to And I Will Not Come Back the Same, but like, 3 whole people would read it, so. Also maybe signing up for Yuletide, which I haven’t done in a few years.

Do You Accept Prompts: Sure, but I exclusively ship rarepairs and weird crossover pairings. If anyone wants to read it, there’s a good chance I don’t want to write it!

Upcoming Story You Are Most Excited to Write: I had a very bad idea last night for a Narnia fic in which Susan didn’t get on the train with the others cause she was pregnant, cause I’m an awful person who loves to torture my favs. So, maybe that one, for the angst.
