i’m enamored with bianca right now,  but i think if i end up writing longfic for ffxiv, it’ll probably be soliri and raha? because... they mean a lot to me and i have a lot of thoughts and feelings to share?? but i NEVER do because i get so shy about it since there are so many raha stans and i feel very out of place among them. his community is so intimidating. like, so intimidating that i’ve considered putting my feelings aside and shipping her with someone else SO many times. but i can’t. like. childhood friends turned work associates (fond). the ultimate slow burn because they both think their feelings are unrequited. (and they were both idiots.) raha carrying feelings for this fat catgirl 200 years into the future, still thinking she couldn’t possibly love him. but she does. god, she loves him so much.

HI! thank you for this, it was such a sweet thing to wake up to. (and immediately get ideas for.) but, to answer your question: yes!! i have tons of oc x npc ships. most of my ocs have at least two. otherwise, i ship them with my husband’s ocs & my best friend’s ocs!!

so.  yes. wolnpc ships. the one currently living in my head rent free is bajsaljen x veya.

i haven’t posted any writing here yet or really talked about them much, but they’re my current favorite pair. two healers -- one coerced into being a leader and the other his right hand, both familiar with loss and the rare pyrrhic victory, both terrified of losing someone they love again and learning how to trust their hearts. ljkdsfa. just. i love them.

soliri and g’raha are just really fucking cute, okay. and so tropey in the best way. rivals to friends to lovers / childhood friends. seemingly unrequited love, but it’s just because soliri is oblivious and distracted. (because i’m WEAK for belated love epiphanies!) sacrifices and disguises and heartfelt reunions. 😭😭😭

if we wanna talk about chemistry, though, i don’t think there’s a ship that can quite compare to ilberd x posie. in my opinion, at least! they meet when he’s a sellsword and she’s working her hands raw as a chirurgeon despite her family’s wishes. she’s a sliver of silver in the dark, when he feels like there’s genuinely no one in ul’dah who cares for him and his people. they fall in love so stupidly fast, and what they have never stops growing and intensifying.
