Nicknames for Katsuki in my favourite ship dynamics:

DekuBaku - Kacchan (like hell, this nickname is so flexible for every genre).

TodoBaku - Katsuki.

ShindoBaku - Babe.

DabiBaku - Doll.

AiBaku - Brat/Kid.

KiriBaku - Kat/Kats/Babe/Katsuki.

KamiBaku - Kats/Kacchan/Babe (Kaminari will just pick up every nickname to boast about his lover).

SeroBaku - Baby/Babe.

ShinsoBaku - KitKat/Sweetie/Sweetheart/Kitten/Shortie/Cupcake (in a mocking/teasing tone).

IidaBaku - Katsuki/Dear (when Katsuki throws tantrum and Iida is just perplexed).

CamieBaku - Bebs (I just have this headcanon where they have a somewhat asexual relationship?? Like they do kissing or cuddling but not interested in pursuing anything further).

MinaBaku - Bebs/Baby/Babe/Love/Cutie/Boo/Bae, etc ('cause Mina probably won't settle for just five nicknames; it's still bottom!Bakugou and they probably have kinkier taste than any other ships above).

2024 is over!

This year I posted 267000 words to 47 fics. Pleasing numbers, I am happy. I had a few ups and downs, lots of stress all over the place unrelated to writing, but between work and family life it's important to have something just for myself - and that’s creating my little stories ❤️

One thing about me is I do well with clear, achievable goals. In 2024, I challenged myself to write 20,000 words a month. August was the only month I didn't make it, for good reasons, and Feb/March was a struggle due to work commitments, but overall, the words flowed smoothly.

My goal for 2025 is to continue with 20,000 words a month, it is a good pace for me. If I succeed I will reach 1 million words on AO3 this year! I also want to concentrate on multi-chapter works more, one-shots are 'easy' now so I feel I need to improve my focus and stretch my plotting skills.

Some ideas I have sitting around in my brain planned for 2025:

BakuKami/??- omega/omega quirk accident. Both Kaminari and Bakugou get hit with a quirk that makes them extra clingy, sensitive to scents of others and holding a new fondness for soft things, quiet places and nests. But wait - there's more! Suddenly hot and horny, leaking slick, Kaminari and Bakugou try to help each other through the heat. Will fists and turns on dicks be enough for the two bottoms?? Or is a surprise third going to knock on their door? (Full disclosure that I have everything plotted right up until the door knock, but no clue who the third will be yet. It's the curse of a multishipper. Kirishima is a classic, a rock solid guy to support them but then I think of Iida staying strong to cuddle and care for them in heat, soothing Kaminari and Katsuki. Or should it be Shinsou, talking them through it, how to be a top to each other until he gets involved and slides in? Or is it no one, and Kaminari and Bakugou break their heat without an alpha, coming out on the other side intimately bonded forever even as the quirk fades? Too many good ideas ahh)

AiBaku - Bakugou gets hit with a quirk that crosses the wires between pain and pleasure while still in recovery from his injuries. This drops him deep into a sublike space, and only Aizawa is equipped to guide Bakugou through his newfound masochism. Solid BDSM story, with heavy pain play and a large dose of smut while Bakugou is frantically trying to get Aizawa to go harder, more often because the only time he doesn't hate his body aches is when Aizawa is the one holding the rope.

ShinsouBaku - Shinsou is the best choice to rescue a Bakugou held hostage and save him without massive collateral damage. Undercover Shinsou finds a defeated Bakugou, and afterwards they keep running into each other with Shinsou worried and not knowing how to show it vs an embarrassed Bakugou who hates how much Shinsou saw of him. Bakugou gets the great idea to pay Shinsou back and it turns very sexual, very quickly.

Dandadan - Sentinel AU. I have no coherent plot for this one, just a bone deep need. Momo and Okarun are perfect for the Guide and Sentinel dynamics.

Plus I have an additional 10k of notes and half-baked snippets of different ideas/inspiration all over the place. Some are one shots, some are expanding exisiting one shots, and some are most likely never going to see the light of day.

I'm eternally grateful for AO3. I am thankful for the writers for posting their fanfictions, for the readers who kudos and comment and support the fandom. Welcome to 2025!
